  1. https://www.pv-magazine.com/press-releases/somaliland-solar-power-and-microgrid-intelligence-for-an-urban-power-grid/ Berbera is doing something right.
  2. I am sure this supposed "united by diin, dhaqanka, afka, iyo hidaha" did not help stop neither the faq@sh campaign of genocide in Hargeisa nor the man made famine in your Southwest region which killed quarter of a million people for the second time just a few years ago.
  3. What is lacking is TRUST. Trust in each other because of the civil war, trust in the government institutions because of corruption, trust in the politicians and their politics because of their evil character, trust in the military and police because of their dark history, trust in the clans because of our mindset and culture, trust in the ability of the Somali people because of our current weakness, trust in the religious clergy because of their division and extremism, and most importantly trust in Allah because of lack of faith. This trust cannot be gained unless there is a change of heart and increase in taqwa among the people, a successful grassroots reconciliation is accomplished, and a social contract is concluded between the people and their political leaders. But one wonders how is all this going to be achieved if the political leaders in Mogadishu keep pretending to represent the people of Somaliland with their hand picked and illegitimate placeholders!
  4. They are no different than the political mercenaries who live in Mogadishu's hotels and collect paychecks from the villa AMISOM just for pretending to represent the people of Somaliland. I wouldn't trust anyone who goes to Mogadishu to join any of the Koonfurian institutions.
  5. I don't think qabyaalad was behind their motive to abandon their Koonfurian jobs and surrender to Somaliland. It was more likely a cunning plan they devised to create for themselves a nice army job close to their homes whist not getting involved in any of the fighting happening in koonfuria. The Somaliland military chiefs saw through them and said NO.
  6. Actually it is a great idea. Instead of exchanging hard currency for that awful drug the Ethiopians will now be given what is a free and unlimited resource for us creating employment for the Somali youth in the process. Our fish used to taken by foreign trawlers without any benefit for us. But now, our fishermen will be paid US dollars and their catch loaded onto planes which delivered the jaad. Hopefully in the near future the Somali men will realise the stupidity of consuming this drug and our fish then be exchanged for $$ from Ethiopia.
  7. I am sure it is not an entire African American gang who is harassing the Somali women but few opportunist criminals as the sisters have pointed out. These robbers can be stopped if few Somali guys catch them and teach them a lesson. But will they organise and chase the criminals out?
  8. Why are there mothers and elderly brothers allowed to be terrorised by opportunistic thugs? Where are the young Somali men of the area? If any of you readers are from that area, organise yourselves into armed groups and patrol the affected locations by stalking and intimidating any unknown guys you find loitering there. If you come to known who the guys behind these cowardly attacks are, wait for them in isolated places and put them into permanent coma. Thugs respect only the power of the authorities and violence. If the authorities are nowhere to be seen, then violence it is.
  9. These are the parents missing their sons. Some boys who fled Eritrea came back to Garawe and confirmed the truth which the liars in Villa AMISOM are still denying. F@qash will always be f@qash, when will the poor Somalis realise this? If the boys have finished their training as those who reached Garawe said, why are they being held hostage or cannot contact their families?
  10. Falastiiniyiintaba tooray ayay dhabarka ka taageen markaa ma Soomaali ayay wax naxariis iyo jacayl ah u hayaan.
  11. Yes but the population of each region is based on guess work rather than actual counting of the people. Only when the people of each region is counted properly then can power be distributed fairly.
  12. So Puntland is not a clan project? Joining Puntland is not qabyaalad? The 4.5 mashruuc is not qabyaalad? What you are doing is the classic case of the pot calling the kettle black. At least the duriyada clan does not camouflage its intentions with hypocrisy and decided long ago that it has nothing to do with the qabyaalad bs of the reer AMISOM.
  13. This is one of the reasons I don't like the arbitrary methods used in distributing MPs to the regions. This is what the late Cali Khaliif Galaydh (ilaahay ha u naxariisto) and president Silaanyo were negotiating before this election was agreed. I think the plan is now to conduct a national census before the next Parliamentary elections to distribute power fairly.
  14. What goes round comes round ma is tidhi. It wasn't long ago when our persecuted ONLF brethren were being witch hunted by the same TPLF who used to force the weak Somali administrations to extradite them.
  15. I heard that the young men and women manning all the election venues in Hargeisa were university students from Laascaanood, is that true?
  16. About 1.1 million people registered to vote. Remember we are not talking about North Korea but a free society where citizens are not forced to register. Of the roughly four million inhabitants, a very large section is surely under the age of 15 who wouldn't be eligible to register for voting. Another sizeable section of the society would also not bother to stand in the awfully long queues under the blazing sun. Probably some people are even Covid conscious and wouldn't be anywhere near crowds.
  17. Better late than never. Wakhtigiibaa la joogaa ay dadkani awoodooda muujin lahaayeen. Waa inay madaxtooyada u dagaalamaan. Combine your voice guys and make a deal with beelwaynta d!r iyo beesha shanaad.
  18. It is most likely an embarrassing error by the official who produced this document. He/she was probably yawning at the back of the class during math lessons in school.
  19. Sorry mate, the ununka won't let you take away THEIR capital. Mogadishu is ununka and Somalia is Mogadishu. It works for them very well and they won't let it go that easily.
  20. Bal MMA ha inooga jawaabo. There is no sign of oday naqameed involved in the selection this time, no wonder why the allocated seats for the political mercenaries were being fought over.
  21. Oday dhaqameedka Somaliland wax xidhiidh ah lama laha calooshooda u shaqaystayaasha Xamar ka xoogsada. It is just another indication of how ridiculous the Koonfurian "election" circus has became. Only the Koonfurians are deluded enough to entertain this nonsense and that is why you will never hear the international community talk about Somaliland when dealing with your monkey business.
  22. Yahuudi waa yahuudi. Wax kala sooca maleh. Duqan la bilaabay in la caabudo haddii uu madaxwayne noqonlahaa nijaasta Qudus xaaraanta ku haysata ayuunbuu taageerilahaa.
  23. Wow nin samir badan ayaad tahay. After a decade you are still hoping that Somaliland will somehow get itself entangled in koonfuria's mess and madness!! Keep dreaming Carafaadoow.
  24. I think most Americans will soon have a worst standard of life than the average Chinese. With all the racism and racial strive, demographic change and the subsequent decline of white privilege, insecurity, corporate dictatorship, abuse of workers, concentration of wealth and power in the hands of a few zionist tyrants, endless expensive wars abroad, etc the future is not bright for the US. With peace, stability, and reasonable governance Somalia might soon offer a more attractive quality of life to those who migrated to the US.
