I don't think the issue should be the clan make up of the so called army, but rather that it is a militia. And if it is a militia, alongside others around the nation, one should consider that it will be easier to import arms across the spectrum and each claiming to represent the army, a couple of false documents and corrupted officials can make it happen.

Sorry but there's no mistrust. Leaders of these clans who live in Puntland such as Bay and Bakool people are some of the most prominent entrepenuers in Bosaso and their local elders speak positively of this. The only time deportation happened were the 500 men during Faroole's term while others have asked to be returned. There's no mistrust among common folks just politicians and clan cheerleaders.
