Xaaji, I don't think you and Oodweyne realise that Faroole is in actuality mocking you and this isn't in regards to Mogadishu.. God help you. He also misrepresented facts in regards to how Puntland gets its funds, Somali aid (based on the donating nation) is administered by an independent board which accounts for the funds. Secondly relating to the dual track policy, it is still alive and well in regards to security matters, which is the most important sector and of US interests. What's changed is the distribution of aid and diplomatic ties however USAID to Puntland is only around 15 million and has to do with food and development assistance. Thirdly, Somaliland's USAID amounts to around $45 million and is the most important part of your NGO package, your survial kit so to speak. It will also go through Mogadishu as well now that the dual track method is over. Sure, you might keep your UK aid, but what little that matters when Uncle Sam wants you to do something you can ask yourself before you go to sleep.
