  1. Since winningthe CL ( ) i have given up on calling Arsenal names, but that can only last so long. Arsenal were taught a leson twice last year by Man Utd. The arrogance coming out highbury has gone all of a sudden. If i was an Arsenal fan i would bury my head right now! 2mrw Zidane and France will line up against Ireland at Lansdown Road, a huge game for both teams. I'm veering towards supporting the French but i fancy the Irish at home and if Roy Keane plays well. Prediction 1-2 to France after an early goal from Ireland.
  2. waar waa nabade! Sound interesting and is along the same lines as myself and a few others have had in mind for a while now. We have a hardcore of Engineers (Construction and Petroleum), accountants, IT geeks and influencial elders in Somaliland We have been looking to set something up for a while now but due to life and what it brings we havnt quiet gotten down to formulating anything concrete (excuse the pun) . I'm actually late in drafting something up, pm me with your ideas. Peace

  8. Soma, as you well know i have moved to the Middle East and have been 'chillin' for 3 or 4 days. Having missed my flight due to some crazy traffic on Tuesday evening i managed to get on a flight via Abu Dhabi. I have been given a 5 room Villa as 'temporary' accommodation, i have been on the beach playing footy, dining out on the best food i have had in years, watching football at outdoor restaurants and eateries and generally admiring my new city. There is some of the most amazing architecture. Just saw England beat Wales. SOL sports has been quiet but it will pick up again soon when the season gets into full swing. I know Sujui is having problems logging on. 187 been quiet, BOB is quiet, QL is quiet and where is Beneyal?????

  10. It was one of those games where i was actually happy for Liverpool to be behind early on. I knew we would come back and beat them even with 15mins to go.

  14. i think they ranged from £1m-£2.5m i was sceptical about the project when the plans were unveiled a few years ago,but you have to give them credit for pulling it off, i think its near enough complete now. Arab companies go into partnership with European/American companies to build such projects (you didnt they were doing it all alone did you?) and dont be surprised to see arab/british companies building olympics sites as a favour returned!

    Bad Habits

I find bad manners intolerable, I have to say. It mortifies me when people are ill-mannered. Having good alround manners when in different situations is a good aspect we should all strive for. ie when at the masjid, at home, at work, with freinds etc etc. The only time i have bad manners is on a football pitch but i have been improving on that. Collective outbreaks of despicable habits are more dangerous on the other hand. These can apply to any area of human existence and would usually be rejected by the more reasonable members of that society. A random example would be the prevalent tradition of plagiarism and abuse of intellectual property in the cyber world. Countless people reject such a bad habit, yet the simpletons carry on. The damage such carelessness and ignorance would cause (if left unchecked) is immeasurable. Who can tell what Faarax wrote and what Plato wrote? Who can stop half-wits from claiming the words of prophets as their own? Who protects your own words? When one is doing a research paper for example there will innevitably be a sentence here and a paragraph there to further illustrate or drive home a certain point/argument. Can this be classed as 'plagiarism'? I have a feeling your refering more towards those who mis-quote to prove their point rather than students doing essays.
