  1. Challange taken, do i need to state my chosen topic/field now?
  2. The saga continues.......... Looks as though NGONGE is banging his head into a brick wall. Saxib, it obvious ppl are not answering your questions, which are at the route of the whole argument, but rather than address the issue(s) prefer to delve into their own pots of honey and lick away just like Winney the Poo On Monday i was questioned as i was walking into the mosque at Euston for duhur. Asked if i had seen any suspicious activities  The guys who apparently did the bombings remind me of the old divisions within the Islamic society at university  . What is it with Asians being easily led as soon as they get to uni both in terms of deenta and other extra curicular activties? My piccadilly line is still down, i have to drive and pay the £8 congestion charge
  3. Forget about the topic and the artwork, is that not young Tupac Shakur??
  4. illahy ha-unaxristo, ameen A warlords government brings its baggage, the sad thing is ppl are actually saying give it time, it will work out  Its near impossible to disarm them or even get them to agree the most simplist of issues
  5. Farah: Has the BBC recognised? Yes and now ITV and Channel four will and the aid will come like a rain of fruits from the heavens above. aaaaah what a delightful propect. Maybe something like the inevitable shall occur sooner rather than later More killings in Xamar with an incompetent Somalia govnt headed by warlords but here we are discussing a lady's appearance on TV  But hey, its Adeero Yeey, so i must show solidarity ps Farah, why not answer my questions honestly, are you scared you may actually say the truth, like the current govnt your supporting are a bunch warlords??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? peace
  6. rule change ps looking forward to the Ashes?
  7. The argument is about a fight imposed on a skinny Somali against a Mike Tyson, and how the skinny Somali should conform to the rules of boxing and use only gloves, while Mike Tyson can use any rules, whether the street or jungle rules, and also any equipment (knife, razor, machete, etc). So the skinny Somali should resort to biting his opponents ear off??? Does the skinny Somali 'want to be like Mike'? Is the skinny Somali willing to stoop so low that his only justification is 'he did it first' like a school yard soap opera?
  8. ^^every other olympics must be in Europe!
  9. So whats the argument here? The rules of war vs the non-existant rules of terrorism?
  10. ^^^sour grapes, i see nothing changes, anything positive coming out of the 'current' Somalia govnt? As i have posted on another thread about Edna: So what does it mean to have Edna representing Somliland on a well known and well respected program? She may not have covered herself in glory but she 'was' there. A lady (Somalilander)representing 'somalis' on a world wide televised program Why was she selected i wonder rather than a member of the current Somalia govnt (whom represent Somalia)? Why would a high calibre programe like QT select the foreign minister of an un-recognised country? Have the BBC recognised that Somaliland is independent of Somalia?

  12. i wanted to set up a poll; but i have no idea how to do it Enough said!
  13. Ngonge asks: You say “it is WAR†and that I should stop arguing about it. But, my question is who is the other side in this war? We already know about the British government, who is fighting it? Who are these people that are blowing up trains, buildings and civilians? The war is against the British Govnt and Mr Blair, but i have an idea, lets bomb commuters who are going to work, kills some muslims along the way (already confirmed) and get the dumb and dumbers on our side based on injustices elsewhere!!! Are they fellow Muslims? Or, are you too one of those that prefer conspiracy theories and would blame everything that ever goes wrong in the world on the Jews? The East London Mqsque came under attach yesterday, but i know, let blame it on the actions of Isreal rather than the actions of the bombers on Thurs!!!! gulps down Coca Cola while writing this

ameen to all the prayers for our dear sister Diamante! Today was businessas usual, the usual traffic build-up in the morning around Kings Cross and St Pancras, i drove past the station along Euston Rd and to my left was the road where the bus exploded. Camera crews doing early morning reports, ppl being interviewed, forensics, armed police, all an expected sight. No discussions on who did it but like Zeph said comparisons were made on journeys home and then back to work. This is when you realise just how calm brits are in a crisis. As soon i got into work i was asked "are you and the family alrite"? which was nice.
  15. The only time i buy one is when i'm travelling, the last one i bought was FourFourTwo
  16. Muslim leaders join condemnation Muslim women in headscarves are warned to be vigilant Muslim leaders have condemned the terror attacks on London and called for full co-operation with police. Muslim Council of Britain spokesman Inayat Bunglawala called on worshippers to pray for victims at Friday prayers. And Ahmed Sheikh, president of the Muslim Association of Britain, said he feared a backlash and added that the Muslim community would feel less safe. He warned that Muslims, especially women in headscarves, might fall prey to vigilante attacks. Government relationship Home Secretary Charles Clarke said he would be working closely with different groups to prevent any attacks on British ethnic minorities. "I'm hoping to meet faith leaders later today [Friday] to discuss some of these questions and the police are looking very, very carefully at any organisations that might try and attack particular ethnic minorities," he told BBC Radio Five Live. Muslim News editor Ahmed Versi noted one of London's biggest Muslim areas, around Aldgate, had been targeted. Mr Sheikh said the unique good relationship Muslims had with the government and society was threatened. "The person who did this was targeting along with wider British society the Muslim community, ruining the good relationship we have." Muslims have to be vigilant now, especially the mosques, and I hope the police will increase security Ahmed Versi Muslim News London rocked by terror attacks He said the police should consider extra protection for mosques and Islamic schools and said Muslims, particularly women in headscarves, should be vigilant and avoid unnecessary journeys. "It is scary. A tiny element of the community will make use of this. It is a blow to us, to all of us. It is a moment of sadness and we send our condolences to the families of those who have been killed or injured." Sir Iqbal Sacranie of the Muslim Council of Britain said he utterly condemned the attacks. "We are simply appalled and want to express our deepest condolences to the families. "These terrorists, these evil people want to demoralise us as a nation and divide us. "All of must unite in helping the police to hunt these murderers down." Attack aftermath Mr Sacranie admitted "there may well be elements who want to exploit this tragedy and incite hatred". Faith leaders in the East End have prepared for the aftermath of a terror attack in London. The Bishop of Stepney, Stephen Oliver and Dr Mohammed Abdul Bari, the chairman of the East London Mosque, spoke together outside the Royal London Hospital saying the East End and London must remain united in the face of terror. When something like this happens people are at first afraid, and then people get angry Stephen Oliver Bishop of Stepney Dr Bari said "We're just shocked and horrified by what has happened. I spoke to the congregation at the mosque and tried to calm their fears and told them they must remain vigilant. "We have worked together with the communities in the East End for many years and we must continue doing so." Bishop Oliver said: "When something like this happens people are at first afraid, and then people get angry. "There's a great deal of speculation in this atmosphere. We are determined that whatever the reaction it is one that unites the different faith communities." Attacks danger Mr Versi said he had already received one threatening e-mail about the blasts. "There might be some increase in attacks on the Muslim community especially visible aspects of Islam like mosques, community centres and women with headscarves. "Recently there have been a lot of attacks on Muslim women on buses in London, it has increased during the last few months." But he said the immediate Muslim revulsion at the attacks could help calm the situation. "I don't think there'll be as high a number of attacks as after 11 September because Muslims have come out very strongly, especially Muslim leaders, condemning the attacks. "I'm sure many Muslims will have been injured as well... one of the bombs - at Aldgate - was near to the east London mosque, it's a very heavy Muslim area. "Muslims have to be vigilant now, especially the mosques, and I hope the police will increase security on mosques and Islamic centres." 'Terrible events' Other religious leaders also offered their condolences and condemned the attack. Chief Rabbi Sir Jonathan Sacks said: "These terrible events have brought home to us the full evil that terror represents. "It is not the weapon of the weak against the strong but the rage of the angry against the defenceless and innocent. It is an evil means to an evil end." The Sikh Federation said: "We totally condemn the terrorist attacks targeting innocent civilians in London. These are the acts of cowards and a challenge to the international world. Those responsible have no respect for human life." The federation is cancelling a demonstration due to be held on Friday outside the Indian High Commission.

We wish D a speedy recovery insha allah.
  19. Questions: (please answer briefly and clearly) When one brings up the sayings "well look at what is hapening in Iraq/palestine/Afganistan" after a terrist attack in the west, does that not mean "what goes around comes around? If not, why not? Does mearly bringing this up mean that the sayer believes its ok for innocents to suffer due to the actions of other terrorists elsewhere? USA violated the Geneva Convention, does it give another the right to breach it likewise (even though the rules of War are clear to all learned muslims)? Do we condone similiar action because 'they did it also'?
  20. Alxamdullilah, fially made it home, a long walk, 3 bus rides and an altercation with 2 Greek/turkish/iranian! KIngs Cross is a major artery with more than 6 underground lines and major rail networks passing through or ending there. I go through Kings Cross everyday on the Victoria line, i consider myself lucky to be alive. But then we have ppl on here justifying the actions of cowards who kill innocents  . I bet you wouldnt say that iif this actualy affected any of your families? Its ok sitting at home and typing into a PC things you have been told is a justification to what is going on elsewhere. We all know/acknowledge/oppose the actions of Bush/Blair/Berloskoni/Putin and many others throughout the world. This doesnt mean inocents should be killed in such a way  Shedaanka ikanara, there is a good chance that muslims may be among the dead (Kings Cross/Edware Road/Russell Sq/Algate), illahey ha-unaxaristo, ameen.
  21. just shocking when you witness it! there were sirens as soon i arrived at work at 8.20am, i'm on the 6th floor looking directly along Euston Road (A40) towards kings cross. They shut the road off, i thought there was a rraffic incident, then more and more fire/police and ambulances carried on arriving, then we got suspicious, bbc news said explosion at liverpool/algate, then we hear the bus exploded about 100m down the road towards russell sq. Then more reports of bombs and explosions. I'm shocked! have to walk home, in the rain all the way to north london
  22. the army are out here, Kings Cross has been sealed off for "mortuary" space, sirens, the bus that exploded is abou 100 yards away, UCL students are stranded,
