  2. well after a week and a half away from work, i strolled in a tad late at 8.30am . Glorious day, i shall be handing my work over to someone else as its my last 2 weeks at this company, it will be sad to leave but hey has to be done for the better.

  4. England 1) go to Libraries and read on Somalia and its cultures/clan system (better done alone as an initial read-up) 2) Find a couple of Somali inviduals who will give you more information and a general idea of our attitudes/characteristics etc etc 3) Trace your clan lineage and you probably find some close relatives in England. Good luck
  5. Congratulations and all the best IA

    Meet Up

We regularly have a sports meet-up, the discussion is not only limited to sports believe it or not
  7. lol, nice one Patrick Viera Roy Keane Samici Mihalovic Adrian Mutu Neil Rudock Ian Wright Gazza Edgar Davids Totti Maradona Pele
  8. ^^^lol come on now, i hate the gunners also but i know a good player when i see one, Henry is gifted like no player i have seen before. The way he controls the ball, the touch, the shot, the speed, the guy is simply brilliant when in full flow. He may not be as effective for France because of the way they play (hes not the main player). Arsenal dominated Chelski, the final ball was missing.
  9. For me Zinadine Zidane is the man no doubt! As for soccernet (an english website i think) its only natural for ppl to think of the premiership as the standard bearer is world football. The English dont know football. Eric Cantona was a legend in the sense that he was the pivitol force behind the revival of Man Utd into an un-stoppable force again. He went there in 92 (just after winning the old first division with Leeds Utd) and steered Utd to the title and many more. When he was anned for 8 months for that Karate kick, Man Utd fell from the top and lost the title to Blackburn Rover in 95. Before he retired he took Utd to 2 CL Semis and they were unlucky in those ties. Now, to really make this topic more interesting, the best player for each position should be chosen. Anyone who objects should identify any weaknesses in the player and not just 'waan sanifey'! Goal Keeper Right Back Left Back Centre Back (or best duo) Right Wing Left Wing Centre Mid (or best duo) Striker (or best duo) In my opinion, the midfield containing Zidane, Davids and Nedved (and Zambrotta) was the best. They may not have won the CL but those guys slaughtered teams and ate them for breakfast in Seria A. Best keeper is Oliver Khan without a doubt. Best right back is Cafu no doubt. Best left back Maldini/Carlos (Ashly Cole at the moment) Right Wing is a tough one,,,,,, Left Wing is probably Pavel Nedved even though he is not your traditional left winger. Ryan Giggs is a close 2nd. Striker is very very tough, i will have to think on that one and start an elimination process. I hope Sujui reads this and replies, i know he reads SOL now and again. Warya waan ku-araa. Come on Mr Seria A.

    The Ashes

lol@Soma, try to be open minded saxib, just watch a few clips here and there (we dont sit infront of the telly all day), understand the scoring system, terminology (will take time), and you will get the ug soon enough. Rocko: what a test match, i was lucky enough to be sitting at home at the time to see the climax. Game on for the 3rd test, the aussies have injuries, the poms actually have a chance!
  11. There are many actors around Whitechapel, there is no problem there , the problem is whether or not than can understand english in the first place I have applied!

  13. i would suggest not to release it saxib,
  14. what disappointment? As long i hear the Adhaan every morning and 4 times after that i will not be disappointed. Besides sitting on the beach after work everyday is better than sitting on a dodgy train in London being looked at funny. I have big plans, i hope you your looking at the next Somaliland Finance and Development Minister. This will be a stepping stone to that IA. just need to brush on my af-somali, nothing that a few short visits to Burco (only 3 hours away) wont fix
  15. ^^had a team meal last night, Italian  A little organisation the night before goes a long way in the morning, even if not done by self
  16. ^^^ 35 mins is too long, its should only take 30mins. I split it into 10 mins per task. Shower,Change and breakfast with the BBC's Dermot Murnahan and Natasha Kaplinski! Enjoying a jumbo Tuna salad with a bottle of coke! I should everything done by 1pm so i can do some personal admin of my own and make use of the phone considering everything is now a 0870 or 0845 number!
  17. Today is Friday. I managed to roll out of bed later than usual at 7.15am. I departed my residence at 7.50am (30 mins late and without breakfast) and made my way down to the station. I boarded an empty looking Piccadilly Line train with my daily copy of the Mirror (Independent is too much of read on a Friday morning). I changed to a full Victoria Line train at Finsbury Park and made my down to Euston. Walking up through Euston I notice 3 asian men being searched and questioned. More Police where walking the concourse and exits. At work I have a number of things to sort out today and get done. They are labourious issues regarding payments/contracts and programme dates. I have just received a letter threatening legal action unless we pay twon invoices to a subcontractor. Once i investigated further it turns out the invoices are of no relation to my company at all. After a bit of a rant at the person on the other end of the phone, I will now concentrate my efforts on updating issues regarding design which I must also price and shoot off to the architect before the end of the day. Tonight, I have been invited to part take in a go-karting race by a subcontractor. I fancy myself as a bit of a Schumacher and will therefore accept the offer. Hey I can imagine being in Monaco, Silverstone or even Rio  I’m thinking of attending the Regents Park Mosque for Friday prayers, even though I got in late I can still make it a 1hr 30min lunch break . If not, then the local mosque will do with a 5 min khutba. I look forward to Saturdays, but because I will be busy packing a few things and trying to sell my car I’m actually dreading it. Cant imagine myself driving anything other than a Golf Gti! My Gti! The days of overtaking hapless folk on the streets of the capital are coming to an end I’m off to get a sandwich and some fruit!
  18. Who cares about a community Shield, i'm looking forward to the European Super Cup and World Club Cup Whoever has won the Community Shield for the past 10 years or so has not gone on to win the Premiership  So do Arsenal and Chelsea fans really want to win this?

    The Ashes

SECOND TEST - MATCH SUMMARY (Edgbaston, Day 1): England 227-4 v Australia Full scorecard England lost three top wickets for 23 runs to toss away their advantage over Australia on day one at Edgbaston. Marcus Trescothick (90) played a lazy shot at a wide delivery off Michael Kasprowicz which he could only edge to grateful wicket-keeper Adam Gilchrist. Ian Bell then edged a defensive push and Kasprowicz was celebrating his second wicket in the same over. Then Michael Vaughan, who had played some fine drives in an innings of 24, hooked Jason Gillespie to fine leg. Full story: McGrath ruled out with freak injury

  22. So what is the reason for a Puntland Passport? ps from your post, are you saying Somaliland is not a part of Somalia (as you havnt mentioned anything or attached anything relating it to being a part of Somalia) and thus has its own Passport? Orgilaqe, nice to see us both on the same side of the fence
  23. Is Puntland not a part of Somalia? if so, then why the need for a Passport?
  24. What a load of cr*p (the original letter) and what a load of 'canterbaqash' (the 2nd one) There is no need for any letter or any campaign trying to show we are against these actions. Just live your lives and get on with it!
