  1. Horta, no one has said all Jews are evil. There are very few of them who are muslims todate. But the majority are extremely evil (Allah has tested them and proven them to be as such). Me sitting in Christian West is another topic. Don't get too excited.
  2. Tell me the single truely democratic Arab state in the middle east or anywhere in the Arab world? The dictators are all puppets put in place and sustained by the Western powers. They do what they are told, and the relationshiop between them and the Yuhuudi state is what they're oredered to do by their masters. You can't see that? With us (Muslim Somalis), our problem with Yuhuud is deen. Allah told us the Yuhuud are the enemy of Allah and as such are our enemy. Period.
  3. Ma Illaahay bay noogu tageen? Alle baanu leenahay, sxb.
  4. ^And the Pharoahs have won it! Damn! I was hoping Ghana was going to stop them from dominating the damn tournament, but they were damn lucky this time! To be honest, though, they were deserved winners. All the so called rivals have come to nothing. And now, they get to keep the trophy!
  5. We all can usually spot the Maali, most of the time, but I don't care about their appearances so long as they don't say 'I'm from Somalia or my parents are from...' Specially, the big brother contestants and the like. I wonder if that girl in the photo hugging her hubby so lovingly would do the same had he been Farah back from Masri prison? Just a thought. lol@dirac dirac dhalay, mayee guntiino guntiino dhashay.
  6. We can have a society that functions much better than anywhere under Islam. But there is a groundwork that needs to be done before that can be achieved. Back to the basics, it is. We've to become true muslims that live and breathe Islam.
  7. ^Huuno, you got your knickers in a twist, not literally. It is 'waajib' that muslims learn about Islam rather than just follow. You seem to be meddling things here. The Sharia has nothing to do with the flawed current crop of Muslims today, or mostly. The Sharia is efficient system that can withstand any test of whatever kind, but it is a case of people not keeping abreast with the system. People, mostly, are sub standard. The beauty of Sharia can be seen when all is functioning perfectly. Muslims of today are donkey carrying a load of diamond, what does this animal know about the value of the cargo it is carrying? Nothing. In other words, fine, sound minds are sleep. It is not the system that is failing the people, people are failing the system hence the chaos that we have today. So, please do not spoonfeed us the garbage that is Secularism/Capitalism. It's all BS and based on robbery (the strong, in this case, the West, robbing everyone else that is weaker and corrupting them and then pointing the finger), worldly satisfaction, race superiority etc. Don't be easily fooled. "Secularism's greatest advantage is that it can be changed with the ever shifting zeitgeist" - Yes, it is because, it is made by a flawed human whose entire wisdom is based on the moment hence why we say 'a hindsight is a 20:20 vision' which tells you that the human mind is really limited. Look at the Iraq war and all the actions taken in the past which humanity regrets. However, the 'Ilm Laah' is totally free from such impurities, which I know you wouldn't agree. But is true if you closely look at it and with sound mind. I know this requires a beleiving mind or super fine mind to grasp, no insult intended and if you take it as such, I couldn't care less. However, my point is, would you rather believe in a system made by the Creator of this wonderful Universe or few shitt!ng, eating and sleeping beings like you who're as useless as you can be and needs updating all the while? What would you rather take?
  8. National pride and the need of the players wanting to make a name for themselves to attract the eyes of the watching European scouts. It is getting interesting. Let us see if an unexpected can win it 2010.
  9. Starting with... "Oh yeah, I'm totally against this prejudice, it's wrong wrong wrong. Would I marry someone from that tribe though? Well, my family wouldn't be happy and it's a tough decision to make and I wouldn't want my kids to have to struggle and you know it's a complicated issue." Very vague and contradictory, but understandable, that is. Every parent must think of their offspring and their future. "...but I want it on record that I am not opposed to my future children bringing someone of a minor clan home...." So let the children struggle..Okay. But it was still going good, until.... "..As long as s/he is smart, and educated, and nice and friendly and appreciates how lucky they are that I'm so tolerant and open-minded!" BooooooooooooooM!
  10. The draw: Group A: 1. Algeria (the lions) 2. (So) Mali 3. Angola 4. Malawi Group B: (deadly 4) 1. Ivory Coast 2. Ghana 3. Togo 4. Burkina Faso Group C: 1. Masar (Egypt) 2. Nigeria 3. Mozambique 4. Benin Group D: 1. Cameroon 2. Tunisia 3. Gabon 4. Zambia Are we going to see another Cote d'Avoir vs Egypt final? Or will Cameroon and Ghana step up? Will Angola, with home support, cause a chaos? CAN is only 7 days away and counting.....
  11. The oil is running out, now the solar energy that is abundantly available in the Arabian peninsula and North Africa is the next energy rush. This is Dec, 2009 posting on Youtube of the project. It's still in its infancy, but it'll be a reality. Major corporations on board already. Now, what do you call people that Allah has been almost nepotistic to them, yet who can't take advantage of the opportunities at their door step? Desertec - Solar energy from Africa to Europe
  12. ^Waraa magaalada magaceeda aa ku ciyaaroosaa. Waa Dhuuso-ma-reebto = The city that doesn't retain a fart. If you live one behind, it will package it and send it right behind you, of course electronically tagged with all the genetic code so that the owner can't argue about its ownership...lol
  13. Don't you worry folks, the days of this Dane caricaturist are numbered! Insult Muhammad (SCW) and get away with it? Maya.
  14. "Live for something or die for nothing" At least the fella that attempted to exact a revenge on the m0ron who insulted Allah's best creature was a man who lived for something, I wonder what this @### (self censored out of respect for the rules of the forum) lives for? Yeah that is you. The originator of this thread.
  15. ^Waar Sanadkayagii waa dhashay. Sanadkeenu waa kan Islaamka. Maaha Miilaadiga Gaaladu isticmaasho. Dubai, oo isku sheegta dhul Islaam, caawa waxay u dabaal degtay Sanadka Miilaadiga ee 2010, meesha aanay u dabaal degin 1431 oo horaantii Decembre curtay. Xadiiskii rasuulku muxuu ahaa..."Gaaladu meesha ay galaan baad ka daba galeysaan...". Weynakaa hadaba.
  16. This is garbage! It's simply baseless. It's all cock up. Like you said, it's so easy to blame it all on the poor, defenceless Somalis nowadays.
  17. I've seen this topic way back and digged it tonight. My brain was tickled by the following facto-mentary (documentary) on water. I recommend everyone of you that has time to watch it, damn it, if you don't have the time make time for it to watch. It'll inform you immensely. Blue Gold - World Water Wars - 1/9 Desalinization is a very good alternative and one which would make our country a heaven of water. Currently, as I heard, there is one factor that is restricting this method being commonly used and that is the cost of the energy it takes to produce - to turn the salty water into drinkable water - the consumable water. In Somalia's case, we're on the ocean and we've solar and wind energy in plenty. It churns my belly when I think of the world's biggest private corps making plans to buy up all these water resources by hook or by crook, how are we ever going to stop them from looting our resources when we can't even solve our basic problems. It's like looking into the future and getting nothing but disappointment. However, as muslims, we've to be optimists and believe in Allah and that only what Allah wills will happen.
  18. ^Now I've heard everything! Yuhuud defending Samatar just 'cause of the chance he might be related to Israelites!? Whatever next for Somali and their weird minds to concoct. Don't you see the game the Yuhuud are playing here. Take what's happened and is happening in the UK where Muslim and human rights groups are trying to get an injunction for an arrest for the Israeli officials who were involved in the January '08 war using the British statue laws. This is an ancient law but as is usual for the western democracies, when it comes to the crunch time, it becomes a mirage. This simple movement has unsettled the travel plans of top Israeli officials, including the former FM & DM. Back to the case of Samatar, it is simple what these folks are trying to establish here. Avoid a legal precedent. And if Samatar survives through this, let him thank his lucky star (I meant His Creator). I would have loved for the people who're pursuing this man to forgive and forget. Time will heal and the route of forgiving and forgetting is much happier for the souls who have suffered the loss and destruction. I only wish. As the old saying goes, 'an eye for an eye, makes the whole world blind'.

    Quitting Music

Walaalo, poster-adaay, assuming you're a lady, you're lucky and do consider yourself to be lucky. These souls here who're recommending the music to you, even though you've clearly said you've lost the taste and don't wanna hear the music corrupted souls. Surprise, eh? Again, you're lucky. As is said, music corrupts the soul and diverts you away from the Dikr of Allah, so the fact that you've given up and lost taste in it, is a good sign for your soul. May I suggest that you fill the gap with Quran and anything that reminds you of your Creator, i.e., islamic talks (muxaadarooyinka)etc. May Allah streighten us to the true path.
  20. Sometime back, I've watched an indie holocaust movie on Sky movies(UK), and it really blew me away. It was called 'The Counterfeiters'. It was about a group of Jews held by the Nazis in jail and asked to do a counterfeit jobs on the dollar, pound etc to save their lives. It's moving picture.
  21. England is rejoicing the group they got into, laakiin waxaan u malayn in ay wax kale ku noqoto. They're celebrating as though they've made it into the knockout stage, haha! Will see!
  22. Whoever did this, was mindless. The target was absolutely wrong. These people are the very future of this devastated country of ours. They've just graduated from health studies, damn it, they'd have helped the sick and the poor. Why murder them in the name of being opposed to the gov't? Alshabaab are not the only culprits here. Somalia, as it is, has many enemies. It could be one of the the many.... Allow inta dhimatay u naxariiso. This is very sad.
  23. Truck owner Ramchandra Das used hammer and chisel to carve 10m-long short-cut. An Indian villager burrowed for 14 years with a hammer and chisel to cut a tunnel through a mountain so that his neighbours could reach nearby fields and he could park his truck outside his home. Ramchandra Das, 53, who lives in eastern Bihar state, carved a 10m-long, 4m-wide tunnel through the hill range from his village of Kewati. Das took up the Herculean task after villagers found the 7km trek over the mountain increasingly arduous. When the authorities refused to help to cut the journey time, Das began carving his way through the earth in the direction of the nearest big town, Atri. The job became more pressing when Das became the first man to own a truck in the village and was unable to drive it to his home. "I could not park my truck near my house since the mountain blocked my path," he told Reuters. Das said he was also afraid of bandits stealing his truck. "I had to leave my truck miles away, so I decided to do something about it myself," Das said by telephone. Local villagers, who previously had to trek around the mountain, are now using the tunnel to get to work. Das was inspired by another Bihari villager, Dasharath Manjhi, who cut a 120m-long, 10m-wide and 8m-high passage so that villagers could reach a local hospital. Manjhi's labour, which lasted 22 years, began after his wife died when she was unable to get to the hospital. He was feted by the Delhi government for his work and died two years ago. =============================================== The audacity of hope and action can go a long way....Is it right for us (Somalis) to give up hope and believe in our ability to change our country for the better.
