SOMALIA: Somaliland forces pull out from Talex as Puntland vows to recapture Sool region Posted on June 26, 2014Somali News Somaliland affiliated armed forces had pulled out from Talex town, Sool region which Khatuma state leaders are based on before the town was seized by Somaliland forces in 12th June. Residents told Raxanreeb Online that the army has started pulling out from the town of Taleh today in the morning hours which they have captured it in 12th June not mentioning the motive behind their withdrawal. No official from the government of Somaliland has made remark on this withdrawal of their army from Talex which is located in Sool region, a territory that Puntland and Somaliland dispute since the collapse of central government of Somalia. Somaliland armed forces have seized the control of Talex in 12th june amid Khatuma leaders were gathering for Khatuma 3 conference which was expected to give birth to the formation of the Khatuma regional administration. On the other hand senior Somaliland government officials led by interior minister Ali Mohamed Waran Adde have paid a visit to Talex yesterday. The interior minister Waran Adde had addressed a speech to the local residents in Talex making promises that his government will implement developmental projects aimed to improve the lives of the people of Talex.
