43 is massacre not genocide.

Che you have point, in this particular case you can't call genocide but what about if this case was the beginning of many more massacres (10 to 100 cases) in Burco area leave alone what happened other area.

This was a sad tragedy. A dark page in Somali history.

Dhaqanow, inter-Somali killings cannot be termed as genocide. It's impossible.

Not everyone in our Somali community is as innocent as you Mr Haatu. Waxa ninka dhibaya waxa Morgan dhiba. He is probably one of those who had it so good but who fled without their shoes when the residents of Burco said enough is enough. Perpetrators of crimes like these should be brought to justice if the Somali people are to move on from those dark days.

Right thing to do but let it started in the house. Burco seeking justice while it shed blood in LA and Buhodle, it's this world's irony!

Somalis are one ethnicity. Rwandans comprised of two different ethnicities, hutus and tutsis. I swear you're a teacher? :D

Only massacres occurred in Somalia. Somalis of any clan have not witnessed any genocide of any kind.

If you want to see what a genocide really is, you need to visit the Genocide Memorial Center in Kigali. Close to 50% of the Tutsis were wiped out of the face of the planet.

No doubt that massacres happened in Somalia in different times and places. Ilaah un baa garsoori kara caddaaladna laga sugaa ee Soomaali nin walba tiisa un buunbuuninayo kala gar qaadan maayaan. Wixii koox genocide u ah ayaa koox kalena Jihaad ku sheegi, marka maxaa la iska daalin. Wax macne ah ma samaynayaan these posts iska soo daba-dhacaya oo middi middi ku taag un laga wado. Ilaah Soomaalida wixii buka ha ka daweeyo cudurka qabyaaladda.

Ninyahow, horta tol wakiil kama ahi, midda kale hakugu xirnaato inaan tol dhami dembi wada gelin aysanna dembi-laawe wada noqon. I don't even know tolkaaga balse do you think inaan adiga kaala xaali lahaa? Waan kuu sheegay dadku waa is dilaa, waa kala adkaadaa, at the end of the day cuqdadi meel ku geyn mayso ee Ilaah ha ku caafiyo. Right now baa dad qabiil loo laayaa, loo haystaa, la iskugu diraa, hub lka iskugu dhiibaa markii haddii aad sidaad iska dhigeysid tahay nin wanaagsan oo ka damqanaya xumaanto middaas maanta loo joogo bal wax ka qabo mid laga soo gudbey waxba ka qaban meyside, haddii kale ha i wareerin.

You could say that about any tribe including MJs that Barre targeted for threatening his regime. Indeed, there were many tragic massacres including Jaziira but they don't mount to genocide but 88 is different story.

Caku Oodweyne, war ninyahow ragga tolkaa ah saas luuma galo, you should be thanking Daqane, Abwaan, and Co for putting the final nail into Barre's coffin and consider the stolen property of the south as reward for a hard earned win. Bal turn blind eye for sec.
