Professor Axmed Ismacil samatar There is hardly any Somalia any more

I have listened closely to the three part debate. The good professor at times comes across as Debbie Downer...I wonder why he choose not to discuss the Solution to the problems that posit current Somalia; the foreign intervention, domestic terrorism, and Imperial arrogance and lack of disciplined leaders instead of dismissing Somalis as a misfit for modernism....Yeah you can form a party, but also you need to give hope to the people you are seeking their support. This is indeed terrifying time that is trying the souls of the Somalis inside the country. The last thing they want to hear is a know-it-all party that was formed in lobby which people already know NOT to expect much from what passes as a intellectual God-send problem solver.

There are elections in Somaliland. The good Profesor changed his strategy and hopes to rally support amongst Somalilanders, so to have a platform for engaging and seeking position in Somalia.

Even though it looks bleak, the situation in Somalia will get better, Insha Allah. Those of you who are prematurely celebrating the demise of Somalia as nation are wrong and history will not be kind to your wishing ill for your own country.

Axmed Ismaaciil Samatar waa dacaayad badanyahay with no solutions of his own to offer. Walaalkiisa Cabdi Ismaaciil Samatar ayaa dhaamo boqolkiiba boqol oo had iyo jeer Soomaaliya midnimadeeda iyo madaxbanaanimadeeda u taagan and its solutions.

There is Soomaaliya, there will always be Soomaaliya. Waxa socdo waa laga baxaa, Eebba ha idmo.

only regional gov'ts should florish, central gov't & army proved disastrous. No embassies & no one corrupt gov't in one city.Independent entities such as SL & PL have shown that people can rely on thmslvs & peace attained at the grass root level, and ofc these regions trade & work together.Movement of people & where they wana settle is not impeded by this.

Samatar & his brother were always opportunists and no more. Even in Minneapolis the Somali population have realized what these men are. It's the case of those who can do and those who can not teach. In fact Somalia today is getting better. Mogadishu is slowly coming back and large parts are peaceful.

There is a nation called Somalia. It's still emerging from the war but it has not died.
