The question we should ask our selves why are we calling these people Cushetic what does King Kush have to do with the NFD region Ethiopia Eritrea Somalia Djibouti Somaliland, Did King kush speak the language of the Amharas or Tigrayans or even Geez or oromo Did King Kush speak Somali. These groupings were created by the European anthropologists thats Ameenas point and she is correct.

Waxaa jawaabtaa caddeyn u ah Afafka ee ku wada hadlaan. Af wuxuu la mid yahay ab (ancestry). Sida dadka isku abka ah u wadaagaan dhiig (genetics), dadka isku abka ah waxee kaloo wadaagaan Afaf. Tusaale ahaan, dadka Europe dega waxee ku hadlaan Af loo yaqaan Indo-European lakin markii hoos loo daadego waxee ku kala hadlaan Afaf tira badan sida Romanc Languages (Italian, Spanish, French, Romanian, etc.), Slavic, Germanaic, Celtic, etc. Afkeen Somaaliga waa sidaa oo kale. Kow, Af Somaaliga wuxuu ka mid yahay Afro-Asiatic ama Afrosan language group oo la wadaagno Hebrew, Arabic, Amharic, Ancient Egyptian, Berber, Oromo, Afar, iwm. Ka dib waxaa midnahay Cushitic.

Ra'yigan waa mid aqoonyahano aad uga xeeldheer arrintan soo jeediyeen. Waa mid ku saleysan qeex iyo qiil (reason and evidence) ma aha mid dad aa waxba garaneyn iska soo alifteen. Marka waa ognahay in aadan aaminsaneyn wax la yiraahdo Cushitic balse wax caddeyn ah ma inoo haaysaa? Mise waxaad rabtaa in aa adi ku aamino caddeyn la'aan?

Cushitic and the biblical Cush have nothing to do with each other. The former is just a name chosen, inappropriately perhaps, for a group of related languages.

It may be inappropriate but it doesn't change the fact that these groups are genetically and linguistically related, however distant such relations may be.

There are different haplogroups E1B1C E1b1C Thomas Jefferson carries the same haplogroup it means nothing to be honest but we were talking about language language is different than genetics.

They were just grouped to each other most of these anthropological doctors from Europe haven't really studied these languages they just needed to clear and group these languages in boxes or order to understand the culture of these people no African ever grouped these languages as one. And genetics is a whole different debate some ethnics are closer to each other some are far apart from each other.

I am aware that you are desperately trying to link Somalis with Oromos and Afars, However, Somalis have nothing in common with Oromos, Afar or anyone else's in Africa for that matter, there is no biological, historical, linguistical or cultural aspect that bonds an Afar or Oromo with a Somali, Get over it please!

You are deliberately misleading people into thinking that Somali language is related to Oromos language and Afar language, Anyway, please tell me what do the following words have in common with each other?

I met a Tutsi, in Mogadishu. He worked for AMISOM. He joked with me that he is Somali. He mentioned how many of the tutsis in his country, Burundi see themselves as descendants/relatives of Somalis

Xajiyow ilmaha ha ka waalin. Linguist have determined language groups not based on European agendas but how close to languages are to each other. If someone has beef with that academic community, they need not babble here on sol but take case to that community and refute established facts. FYI both the names Cushitic and Semitic have long histories. Surely no one who has heard Amharic or Tigrinya and knows basic Arabic will doubt the affinity of those languages. Just the same as Oromo and Somali. Every people must come from somewhere and are usually related to nearby ethnic groups, Somalidu ma cirkay ka soo dhacday?

i took the Tutsi test and i failed: Very True Story: This what happened to me.

Sometime ago, my somali-home gal, was trynna hook me up with new in town xaliimo!! u know their aint that many good clean xalimoos in la so homie needs to have his xaliimo detectives..for good hookups.lol

So home-gal calls me up n tells me that she gonna hook me with brand new spanking xaliimo!! I say kol thx babe gal. i am all excited. However, she didnt tell me that, she was gonna bring with a tutsi gal to!! What good go wrong?>>>

I so go to the Restruant where she told to come. I go there looking kol....u feel me, new hair cut & the whole shabang! I go there, sit down, meet them, chilling talking........etc

Some how, no formal introduction took place and my two heads where having a somali civil war!! On my left side was a very lite, michael jackson looking women, with pimples on her face!!! and facing me was nice, hot, brown skinned lady!

My instincts kicked in n told me...yup! this is the xalimoo........so i started the convo with her so we are chatting for like 20 min!! Finally, i heard laughing...looked the other side and my friend is like telling me...that i am talking to the wrong lady!!

I was shocked n embarrassed!! some how me n the somali xalimoos never chilled!! even though we dated for like a month! Once u miss the target, its a lost cause.

ce le vie.
