I can’t believe you get marked down for being extra safe. Anyway, if the man says I can drive on the road now, alone, I believe him lol. As for why we can get away not driving, it's called traffic, the extortionate price of gas, the lack of parking spaces and the £8 congestion fee you pay daily to commute to central London by car. It’s faster by trains, the city is very well connected by tube, trains & buses. I know everyone drives at age 12 in the states. I guess a car is useful for wkends and late nights.
