Morning trollers.

 

Serenity i think im catching that workaholic bug myself.

 

yesterday i came in to apply a few security patches to one of my servers a 30~45 minute job .. and it took the entire server offline ... I stayed upto midnight rebuilding the server from tape drives that had to be delivered from godforsaken place in 30 KM outside the city .. but at least I ruined their Sunday as well

 

and im here bright n early to boot.

That sounds like almost as bad as my Sunday/Monday.

 

I dreamt about defects last night. And in all my lack of sleep and over-thinking, I forgot my laptop at home this morning and realized 3/4 through my journey (when I saw some other suit carrying a laptop). So I freaked out for about 20mins, and then decided to call my local cab station and ask them to pick it up and drop it to my workplace. Cost me $45 .

 

Needless to say, I actually started working 2hrs late, which defeated the whole purpose of rushing out of home and trying to get in early to see how things are!

^^ It's not habaar, it's duco. It's obvious work is just not for you. YOU WORRY TOO MUCH. Now, would it not be so much nicer if such worry was about curtains and what not?

 

DD, mine is not natural either but unlike you I would not call it 'self inflicted', I'd call it fashionable.

There is really nothing glamorous about this workaholic culture, all you're doing is racing against yourself and burn out. It doesn’t always translate as hard worker either because you can be seen as someone who is unable to deal with their workload.

Anyway, I see rain as a blessing so it doesn't bother me as much.
