  1. I've heard similar stories along those lines before. The locals were asked which of the two sides they wanted to join and they opted for the SL side. Waa waagii qabyaaladdu dadka aanay madaxmarin ee maskaxda dadku ku shaqaynjiray. Looks like people are beginning to using their brains once again. Hope this logic is also apply to the people from your area.
  2. Somalipride, Minimize your emotional feelings so that you take a sound position regarding the problem at hand. More importantly the Pr. of PL Mr. Adde should not play with a fire, and should know how far can he test the patience of concerned citizens.

In Somalia the most divided, dangerous territory in clan sense is the north. If slightest error of misunderstanding takes place in the outskirts of Adhi-Ade we all can anticipate what may come into play. Moreover, no body needs to be a rocket scientist to figure out the threat which the occupation of your clan militias in some parts of Sool pose to the stability of the region as a whole. Finally, till you guys, in your part, show virtue towards the peace process of Somalia nothing will change in our part.
  6. Understood my dear friend and thanks for the clarification
  7. Dear Mr.MMA A Reminder!, my friend I am neither comfortable nor content that my respond to Mr. Oodweyne triggered your editing, it feels like that Mr. Oodweyne can go away with anything while the rest of us are required abiding to the golden rules of SOL.

  9. Dear Mr. Oodweyne, I must say that you finally realized the fallacies of your monolithic, long-struggled ideology regarding Somaliland’s elusive recognition. As you wished and wanted us to believe, indeed, conflicts the reality on the ground as you confessed ultimately, this is what I call Wiseman’s move because we are debating here what are feasible rather than solely wishes. Furthermore, I noticed that in your dictionary the difference between a clan administration and a state administration requires further tuning, and I am sensing that you are already flipping those pages which I think is a progress. To my amusement what you wrote didn’t make a sense at all, when you said the following; Now, given that we know now that is not the present situations, due to the military involvement of Puntland, in so far as that city of Las-Anod is concern; then that solution will be difficult to effect as it stand at the moments; but if things changed, and Somaliland - by either political cunning or military measures - were able to established it's rule and authority across the whole of the territories of proper Somaliland; then the prospects of that solution will be infinitely more appealing, and hence, any tribally-minded Folks who are within Somaliland's boundary, but are suseptible to believe in this bogus argument of Political .... that Col. Yey had minted it, for his own political ambition, back in that year of 1998; would of been in a position, to be offered a new political deal within Somaliland's constitutional edifice. Waar Adeer, I am assuming that the nerves which are supposed to transfer the brain-processed info to your fingertips have attenuated and distorted the facts, in all accounts I am giving you the benefit of the doubt and this time I am blaming your keyboard pins. Moreover, when you say Political .... what about the ... dogma that you are calling for in the North?, will it ever succeed?. in addition when you talk about the minority in which context are you talking about, the one in Somalia as a whole or in SL, be whichever you like, apparently easterners want unity as they shown time and again and if you let them go to their way the whole thesis of your political discourse will crumble. My Dear friend, Mr.Oodweyne, we know that you can neither bring the easterners into line by war nor appeasement?, so what is your solution to the problem?. 10. Thanks Maakhir, Indeed, with its Entirety, PL media has lacked its position of being balanced news outlet to its audience, of course with the exception of Laasqoray.Net and Garoowe Online
  11. Positive development, it seems like now that even NGOs are getting the point and recognizing who is who in where
  12. This is an exceptional interview which, I think, will give all political section goers a moment of relaxation and relief from the tit-for-tat that we encounter here on a daily basis. This is an academic scientist whom we,as somalis, can be proud of, let us emulate him and work hard achieving our relevant fields. This below is an excerpt from his interview conducted by Mr. Ahmed A Hassan: "Every experiment with Mr. Jones in the Lab was a moment of awe and wonderment! I learned from him that with the proper curiosity and imagination, you can accomplish a lot, instead of sitting there and complaining how poor you are or how difficult the situation is." 13. Mr.DucaQabe, Don't blind yourself how PL authority is trying to test selectively, the limits of some of its citizenry. PL Gov't has the authority of all its people and land only and only if it itself abides to her rules, and regulations set forth. .

  15. Dear Mr. DucoQabe, The question is not about if PL can produce known, nationalistic, charismatic figures in the Somali political arena as you wish to deviate us the problem at hand. It is about misuse of power by PL authority, they are the ones who suppose to safeguard the interest of their citizens rather than endangering it therefore, I am urging whole heartily that PL authority to come clear about this in timely manner and publicly, short of it will exuberate over the situation. Finally, Mr. DucoQabe I would like to remind you that golden rules of SOL are still in place.

  17. Mr. Maakhir, thanks and your point is well taken. Furthermore, I am suggesting when this dust settles down that the structure of PL administration has to be transformed drastically and Must be formed a government close to the people and reflects the aspirations of its constituents. Of course, the ramifications of not doing so will gradually crumble the legitimacy of PL Authority. Moreover, we know what happens when citizenries' rights are deprived, the state becomes weak and on due course even the authorities' interests may intersect. Codetalker, don't get me wrong my dear friend, I am a great believer of self-defense by any means necessary. All I want and hope is that something positive comes out of this, and this rings a bell and be a wakeup call in the heads of those who think that political and clan dominance can be reached by instigating civil unrest, and tention among the communities of PL

  19. General Duke, I believe the mechanism of sorting out, and putting the things straight regarding the conflict of the stakeholders(sub clans) of PL are out there, but is the General realizing to use it or is he bypassing it?. To my knowledge, I've neither heard nor read from any radio or news outlet that the residents of Bossaso, Garowe, Las-Anod and Galkaio marched peacefully through the streets of their towns, asking the Puntland administration for calm over the situation, and I believe that is an obligation which citizens of PL have yet to discharge. Maakhir, Do please show little more goodwill, virtue and practical wisdom over the crises, I, for one, and you see things eye to eye but sensationalizing the incident will diminish the substance of the message therefore, be easy on brothers.

  23. First of all, let us hope that the developments of this incident subsides, and then give a chance the General to respond what his motives are for achieving his elusive, concealed agenda?, above all, I wonder if that is feasible in the context of PL's social fabric
