However, my intuitive feeling is elevating Hiiraale over Morgan

  4. HornAfrique, my mind tells me that the citizens of Kismayo is been silenced by the courts but my heart tells that they are better off than Hiirale's rule..
  5. ...............There is a daily session of chewing Khat in my modest but cozy little Maan-hadal salon at my house. Maan-hadal, which translated means “speak your mindâ€, is a mere talking-shop. Put quite simply, it is a forum for free and easy interactions. Maan-hadal is an interactive, informal social gathering that is meant to provide a convenient and casual platform for the silent majority to express (off-the-record, of course) their individuality and their opinions on issues of mutual interest. It somehow resembles an open public space for free speeches. Exercising their inherent, inalienable and legitimate rights to free speech, my chewing-mates interact with each other and speak their minds quite freely. In line with the longstanding traditional values of Khat-chewers, opposing views and differing opinions are tolerated if not always fully accommodated. Hence, freedom of speech is virtually unrestrained at Maan-hadal................. Read the full article
  6. Dear HornAfrique Why I don't see the continuation of the demonstrations in Kismayo City, could you shed light on the causes of its subsidence..
  7. Sh. Aweys is rolling the ball in the right direction so far because the momentum, the mood and the tide are synchronized and unfolding in his favor... May Allah materialize his good deliberations sooner than later.. there is so much done already and so much undone thus let us be patient..
  8. Very sad indeed , this is the tip of the iceberg of what Unrestrained human can inflict on his fellow, when accountability, human decency, responsibility and the rule of law are all neglected or bypassed.

This kind of talk will result in many lives lost in the future. Lets just hope that all other cities fall without a shot being fired or without innocent people getting killed. 10. According to my knowledge and what I have been observing and witnessing over the last four months or so, it is obvious that a clannish component is in the equation of the Islamic Union Courts, hey remember we are somalis after all. Having said that their performance is way better than their shortcomings (Based on cost/benefit analysis setting), even I believe that they are a better alternative to Somalia in terms of governance than the weak TFG that is encircled in Baidoa. Thus, A question would be how soon the undeniable success of the ICU will be legit or marketable to the eyes of the masses and international community?..... as far as Mr. Hiiraale is concerned, the guy did his homework and seemed to be very smart because he vacated Kismayo city with the minimum loss of human life and material wealth… therefore he deserves to be commended on his deeds…..even though a sense of cowardice is displayed there.. . All In all we should be patient and give the ICU their time to sort out their differences.. may be a year, say june next year and then let us convene an other debate regarding this matter

Which one is it? would you rather have the "aggressors" be dealt with force and therefore bloodshed as a result? or avoiding any blood to be spilled from neither side, which one is it, you have given us to sides that are contradicting? Saaxiib, the ball is in your court, and the result, much of it, depends how you manage it.
  19. MMMMMMMMMMM.. Somalis amazing race, we must be in ….. crises. a bad analogy could be derived from such discussions, ... such as Which came first the chicken or the egg?, I go ahead and say the egg because I do have my own reasons.

So as well off as I was of Xiin's birth place, you are also way off to the right of mind. I conceded partially to my inadvertent remark regarding your birth place, however, my abstract logic is still valid, meaning the more we know about our weight and political associations, the closer our differences converge...
