  1. Carafaat stop beating about the bush and take the girl out for God's sake you live in the same place.
  2. Age ain't nothing but a number. Ruby-Diriye is in his late forties with a mentality of a 15 year old still chasing after teeny-boppers that would technically classify him as a peadophile lol

Xaaji Xunjuf;823197 wrote: Not pretty she is to dark Last time I checked the Somali people were classified as black people that inhabit the Horn of Africa, however it appears your anti-Somali agenda has no bounds. This just confirms some rumours I heard few years back regarding the women from the break away region of Northern Somalia, whereby I was told that their ladies do like to lighten/whiten their skin in order to erase or eradicate their Somaliness and Africaness "Horey baan u maqli jirey hablaha waqooyi ku nool baraago laysku cadeeyo ayay galaan har iyo habeenba" I also heard the Somali saying " doqon iyo habeenbaa isla madoow" originates from the secessionist region of Northern Somalia. It is no wonder that I haven't seen many ladies from this part of Somalia who have the natural Somali skin tone.

  6. Mogadisho in the 1950's looked better. What is the point of this thread? 21 years of so called 'independence' and is this all you have got to show for it?? Independenceyay xaal qaado
  7. SubXannallah! I don't think it's just the Somali community that isolate anyone with disabilities I think it's a common practice among Muslims. I shouldn't generalise but this the sort of feedback I have come across. We should all be grateful for our health. Alhamdulilaah.
  8. I was actually wondering where you have been Ibtisaam? I hope you have given birth to a little funky looking punjabi kid:) A family friend recently got married to a punjabi. Goodbye to Somali men I say lol
  9. Taleexi, How is that aflagaado? It's time we shed some light on pregnant Farahs with chicken legs. This description only applies to Somali men in the West as opposed to those back at home in Somalia. I agree with Chimera, the concept of 'the poor oppressed muslim women' as seen by the west comes from the treatment of women in the Middle East. A place where Muslim women are oppressed and abused frequently, however Somali women are the most liberated women in the Muslim world. I have friends that are Arabs, Afghans etc and even though these women are now living in the West, yet they are still oppressed. This is largely because of their cultural background rather than their Islamic faith. The majority of them are not educated in their religion and therefore are not aware of the many rights that are granted to them by our religion. But to pretend that Muslim women are constantly attacked by the media without a valid reason is erroneous becuase many of the so called Islamic c0untries oppress their women. How do you expect the west to react to a 14 year old married off to a 30 year old especially one born in the west? How do you expect them to react to honour killing that is carried out in the name of Islam? For God sake 60% of first generation Pakistanis living in the UK are married to their first cousins from back home what is this telling you?

  14. Rich Men will not Marry Pretty Women. Why? A reply from CEO of J.P. Morgan to a pretty girl seeking a rich husband A young and pretty lady posted this on a popular forum: Title: What should I do to marry a rich guy? I'm going to be honest of what I'm going to say here. I'm 25 this year. I'm very pretty, have style and good taste. I wish to marry a guy with $500k annual salary or above. You might say that I'm greedy, but an annual salary of $1M is considered only as middle class in New York. My requirement is not high. Is there anyone in this forum who has an income of $500k annual salary? Are you all married? I wanted to ask: what should I do to marry rich persons like you? Among those I've dated, the richest is $250k annual income, and it seems that this is my upper limit. If someone is going to move into high cost residential area on the west of New York City Garden(?), $250k annual income is not enough. I'm here humbly to ask a few questions: 1) Where do most rich bachelors hang out? (Please list down the names and addresses of bars, restaurant, gym) 2) Which age group should I target? 3) Why most wives of the riches are only average-looking? I've met a few girls who don't have looks and are not interesting, but they are able to marry rich guys. 4) How do you decide who can be your wife, and who can only be your girlfriend? (my target now is to get married) Ms. Pretty A philosophical reply from CEO of J.P. Morgan: Dear Ms. Pretty, I have read your post with great interest. Guess there are lots of girls out there who have similar questions like yours. Please allow me to analyse your situation as a professional investor. My annual income is more than $500k, which meets your requirement, so I hope everyone believes that I'm not wasting time here. From the standpoint of a business person, it is a bad decision to marry you. The answer is very simple, so let me explain. Put the details aside, what you're trying to do is an exchange of "beauty" and "money" : Person A provides beauty, and Person B pays for it, fair and square. However, there's a deadly problem here, your beauty will fade, but my money will not be gone without any good reason. The fact is, my income might increase from year to year, but you can't be prettier year after year. Hence from the viewpoint of economics, I am an appreciation asset, and you are a depreciation asset. It's not just normal depreciation, but exponential depreciation. If that is your only asset, your value will be much worse 10 years later. By the terms we use in Wall Street, every trading has a position, dating with you is also a "trading position". If the trade value dropped we will sell it and it is not a good idea to keep it for long term - same goes with the marriage that you wanted. It might be cruel to say this, but in order to make a wiser decision any assets with great depreciation value will be sold or "leased". Anyone with over $500k annual income is not a fool; we would only date you, but will not marry you. I would advice that you forget looking for any clues to marry a rich guy. And by the way, you could make yourself to become a rich person with $500k annual income. This has better chance than finding a rich fool. Hope this reply helps. 15. Kulu nafsin daa'iqatul mawt--Every soul shall taste death indeed. There are many children that have lost both parents in the poorest countries with no relatives or help from anyone. May Allah guide them. We invest so much energy into this world, only to leave so suddenly. I wonder if the mother advised her sons on the importance of their diin and holding on to the rope of Allah, whatever the case maybe I pray they turn out to be righteous people.

  18. From what I understand "Soomaaliyey toos" was written in the early 1900s in attempt to entice the Somali people to rise against the Italian and British Colonialists, and this was later adopted as 'national anthem' during the civil war in an effort to restore the country. However this is not the original Somali national anthem. I believe our anthem is Qolobaa Calankeedu. I would love to know who wrote it.
