This joint session was attended by hundred and nine members of both chambers of Somaliland parliament. The session was presided as usual by the parliamentary speaker Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilahi known as ‘Cirro’. The educational background and experience of the new chairman of Supreme Court Mr. Yusuf Ismail Ali was read. Later on, the voting process started. Hundred and seven members voted in favor of approving the newly appointed chairman to the post of the head of Somaliland Supreme Court.
