    DEXTER

WOOOW! Woooooooow! Why wasn't I curious enough to start watching this when you started this thread Hayam!? One of the best shows I've ever seen. I just finished watching the entire series in a couple of months. He fits the serial killer role perfectly. My favourite was season 2, and like Naden, I'm still grieving after what happened in the end. Doaks is my fav character, and for some reason I've been blurting out the words 'motherf***er' after even the slightest mishaps, it's happening at work a lot as well. The suspense and story twists are amazing, and then it makes you lol when you're least expecting it. Can't wait for season4..
  4. I got a 'high school musical' matching pj set. I really wanted the Hannah montana ones tho, in blue.
  5. Come on now, seriously. Doesn't anyone watch this? Internet service providingz
  6. Aaliyah I was subscribed to these videos a while ago, and they do shock you at first. Thanks for the reminder tho. The 'mother' video was harsh
  7. So.. this was back in February! What is it with these artists and release delays! By the way, is anyone eagerly waiting for Maxwell's new album? It was supposed to be released last February but there's still no word on it.
  8. Mabruuk ya rayyal. Aamiin aaliyah.
  9. This proposing-on-knees business wouldn't work for the religious folks horta, if you notice all the gaalo they kiss or embrace each other after the guy stands up, it has some sort of a climax. What about the religious muslim brother, he'll get up and then what?.. dust off his knees or.. *awkward*. What happened to taking the girl's permission to ask her wali for her hand in marriage..?
  10. What is it about peeling off dead skin that's so.. addictive? I can sit for hours (not realy) and pick on the same spot, but nothing is more satisfying than pulling a long piece of skin where you can clearly see your foot prints. There's a sweet little patch on the back of my left heel that I'm saving for another time. 'Ello!
  11. yes I know, thank you. But hey, when you're a kid your imagination can go wild, and that thought has been embedded into my mind ever since. Have you been told, or heard of jinni stories when you were a kid?
  12. *slapped by a jinni, not the tree!
  13. Men invented that car, that says a lot! Actually some guys just see a car as a means to get from a to b, bloody fools. It's art! It's not everyone's cup of shaah.
  14. You're just making this even worse, saxib^. Should've just claimed that you're this 'smears' character and that's it, end of investigation. As for the topic question, I certainly do believe in Jinns. When I was about 6y/o, my older bros used to tell me that after maghrib time, if a circled a tree 3 times, I'd get slapped by one. I avoid trees in the dark even now, some 15 years later.
  15. Why are you lot so into shoes?? I need to know that tooooo!
  16. inshallah Canjeex^ Good taste BOB, that is one hot baby. I'm in love with the sketches tho, and hopefully one day my very own signature will be next to them.. *sigh*
  17. I believe they were back up parachutes, Norf1. It's not looking good, this.

Kum to Liverpewl! You can go to the docks and see the Tate gallery and Liver buillding. St George's hall and the museum and art gallery 'round the corner. Then go further into town to shop in the brilliant St John's market, or Liverpool-ONE. After the busy day, take the bus down to Granby to check out the Somali scene and relax in the little restaurant (there's only one).
  22. Eid mubarak beloved SOLers.
  23. I'll try and follow the points mentioned here. Jazaks for the articles.

I was leaning more towards the 'it's permissible' option cuz that's what I wanted to hear as G_J mentioned, but my conscience isn't accepting it. Inshallah if I pass my probation period in my part-time job, I'll drop the loan. Just to make one thing clear, my tuition fees are already paid for by the govt, it's the expenses associated with living away from home that's worrying. Rent, bills, food and extortionate course materials alone add up to around £4000. Thanks for everyone's advice, and please make dua's in these 10 days! (Aaliyah I'm looking at you..)
  25. I prayed istikhara last night, and had this dream where I was lying on top of a skip filled wish cash.. and I was surrounded with some cadaan people I've never met. Then I remember piling wads of cash to form a pillow and asked one of the guys to pass me a blanket so I could sleep.. Thats all I remember. I already have 2 interest free overdraft accounts which are -£2000 in total, and one of the banks is chasing me like a dog already.
