I've been folding letters and sealing envelopes for the last 3 days. Yesterday I started having double-vision towards the end of work. I must've done 5000+ letters and envelopes so far. I've experienced it many times Femme, exactly the way you felt, minus the scary sounds. The first 2 times it was very scary indeed, but after that, i got used to it, I remember telling my best friend about it, and when he said he experienced the same thing, i felt quite a relief and thought it was a normal thing. Now i just find it annoying, and sometimes even peaceful.

Zorro was pretty good, it's not like the typical movie plots. She writes more about the man himself, Diego de la Vega. What was happening before he was born and a lot about his journey towards becoming this zorro character. It does have a bit of magic realism in it and it's very enjoyable, there are even characters in history from that period of time included in the plot. Don't miss it! heh. I'll check out her other books on Amazon. Speaking of which, there's this book that's been sitting in my Amazon wishlist for a couple of years now, it's called "Like water for chocolate". Have you read it? I might buy that one soon. It's at the stage where Amazon keeps recommending it to me everyday. I'm in the middle of reading Gibran's "The Prophet" which I started about 2 years ago.. still only half way through tho. It's brilliant. You can read all, or parts of it here!

Isabel Allende? I loved her book "Zorro", I read it twice earlier this year. I dont have a fav writer, but I liked a couple of books I read by Patricia Cornwell, and Michael Connelly. I prefer Poetry books, especially Gibran Khalil's.

Hi Hayam. Did your sound stop working after a windows format as well? One way to check if it's a driver problem is to go to the device manager and look for the 'audio and sound' group, if there a yellow exclamation mark next to it. If not, then maybe your speaker/headphone socket is faulty. I managed to fix mine by reading yahoo answers and pc forums.

I figured out what to do right after posting the thread.. the answer was right there staring at me. I downloaded a AC97 driver from realtec and installed the package. But thanks for the reply. Problem solved.

Salaam everyone. My PC was working fine until Windows had to be reinstalled. But the person who did it never installed the sound driver, and now I don't have any sound from my PC. I'm not exactly sure what to do here (or which term to search for in google) so please if you know how to fix this problem let me know. I've tried most things that are supposed to be good for you including Green Tea and what not, but in order to get any benefit from them you have to eat/drink them like it's your job. Hello Ibtisam! How are you? Tea without sugar is just nasty. Has anyone tried dipping soft bread into sweet milky tea? Mmmmm Or you can have a big cup of tea and drop soft bread cubes into it until all the tea is absorbed, then you're left with this nice spongy cake, eat with a spoon. It happened to me a few nights ago, before sleeping I was lost in my thoughts as usual. Then for some reason 'death' came up, especialy the moment of meeting Malak El-Mowt, when he comes to collect your roux. I wondered if he'd talk to me first, what would I be doing.. What does he even look like. I just tried to imagine myself in judgment day in all the chaos. Around 7 billion people are on earth now, and a century ago, and so on till creation began.. All of those people are gonna be there youm al qiyaama. Billions of people are gonna be judged.. That was the only time it affected me this way, because my heart started pounding the more I thought about each stage, and couldn't bear it anymore. I was actually scared of dying in that moment. Not a good feeling at all, I'm not ready yet.
