The great Somali comedian AHN Cabdalle Raage had said few things about freedom to talk. The legend of the story goes like this : while he was either riding a taxi, bus or a car--- I do not know the exact vehicle---with one of the daughters of late president Siyaad Barre (AHN) , he farted on purpose to annoy one of the teenage girls of the president. She was shocked how openly the man has made noise and complained. He said your father has denied us to talk and silenced us, and now you want to deny us the release of the air from rear ( Aabahaa ayaa afka na qabtay adiguna ma dabadaad na qaban). If you are in Hargeisa these days, the most famous words in the street are don't shush me ( Waar Afka ha na qaban). Somalis every where are denied basic rights of human beings. The right to a decent job, the right to vote, the right to reject injustice and the right to live in save homes in their own country . Some had achieved peace and certain rights, yet the biggest freedom the Somali nomad can not be refused is the right to room the land as he wishes , and the right to speak his mind. You can't shush the oral society of Somalia, yet the Somali despots do not know any better. As they say, " misery not only loves company" but also want to talk and talk . It is the ultimate freedom that is left for the Somali man while everything else is unreachable.. That is why after a week of work , we all want to sit down with our friends in coffee shops and chat, although lately it is becoming difficult to sit down in one place for more than an hour. Waar Afka hana Qaban. A man from the diaspora who used to talk as he wished in the Somali media had met Muuse Biixi during the campaign of 2017. After few discussion of freedom and dictatorship, Muuse Biixi jumped in and said, " do you know who is the dictator"? . dictator is a man who comes in front of the media and talks as he wishes without even checking the accuracy of his thoughts and offending everyone as he wishes. That is the dictator. That fellow didn't understand Muuse is agitated by those who have a microphone, especially in the diaspora. In Hargeisa, where everything from the palace gossip to the ministers nepotism and government business is in the open, Biixi has difficulty to silence people. If he was familiar with the Twitter like Trump , he would have answered every noise from his detractors with midnight Tweet. Few Weeks ago , he might even had thoughts of arresting professor Samatar and Cali Khaliif in his head, but decided only to stop them traveling to Borama. He even put letters in private hotels warrining them the consequences of hosting these free speech promoted by these two strange guys. Some are demanding that these two guy be silenced and denied the right to free assembly and speech. According to Muuse, if people kept talking openly, especially about the sacred day of 18 May, things might crumble under his watch. The problem is that you can't silence people who are unemployed and got plenty of time to talk and talk. Misery loves company and want to talk. Sometimes he want to try and ignore the barking of the politicians and the public, but some fool will go to the media and remind him to do something about it ( Waar ninkan madaxweynaha iyo qaranka wax ka sheegay maxaa wax looga qaban la'aayahay).Sometimes a local police or even a minister might try to take the initiative , but suddenly it backfires. A member of parliament emboldened by the two professors questioned the SNM 18 May and thrown to jail without due process. Just like another street criminal he was locked after someone complained . This lock up of the member is probably a rude warning to Samatar and Khaliif. Last year , he said, " those young boys strolling the streets needs discipline and hair cut" . Next day The police decided to the take the initiative and started to shave the heads of the boys in public. After a public outcry they reversed the hair cut. Yet, despite all the talk, Hargeisa had decided not to talk about the current events , especially the unity drums waged by the regional governments and the international community. The Egyptians, Emirates, Qataris, Americans, Ethiopians, Eritreans and the whole world wants to push the unity issues sooner rather than later. The Middle East is changing , Again. Folks, the world is changing and a lot is brewing in our region , and the world powers want to remake the middle east one more time. A lot of things could happen before Trump leaves office. The Palestinian issue will be resolved either by hook or crook. The latest proposal already leaked to the Israeli media could be the new framework for the so called New palestine. Despite his pro-Israeli viewpoints Trump want to accomplish what he calls the deal of the century. In this proposal, the Palestinians will get the West Bank without the jewish settlements and will have border connections with Jordan. They will keep the Gazza Strip and a huge land from the Egyptian Sinai will be leased to Gazza to make airports, warehouses and other industrial land since Gazza is already crowded. Jerusalem will be the capital of both states but the city will be managed by the Israeli municipal government while the Arabs would have palestinian citizenship, and both communities can't sell their houses to the other. A four lane highway will connect Gazza to the West Bank. The land lost to settlement will be compensated by the Sinai land offered by Egypt. The Saudis will pay $10 billion dollars to sell the deal to the Palestinian leadership lad by Mahmuud abbas. The dilemma is whether Hamas led Gazza would accept the deal. While these deal gives a lot of settlement land to Israel, it might allow the Palestinians to have an independent state and live in a country without conflicts for the near future. Another issue, for the push to sideline Iran, one way or another, is despite its huge army Israel is no longer a force that can invade or occupy Arab lands anymore. Few years ago the Israeli tanks could not cross even few kilometers inside southern Lebanon with heavy casualties. With tens of thousands of rockets HisbuAllah could hit anywhere in Israel. Just Like Hisbuallah, the Palestinian Hamas is becoming a formidable force that is not going away. Last week Hamas had fired 700 missiles to Israel , and even hit Tel Aviv. Israeli planes destroyed houses , buildings and killed three dozen palestinians. Yet, Hamas rockets killed four and wounded many Israelis, and as usual, Israel is reluctant to take casualties. Invasion of Gazza could be even worse both for casualty and world opinion. Gazza is already an open prison blockaded both from land and sea, and bombarding that crowded place will alienate the international community even more. .Reports even indicate that the latest ceasefire brokered by Egypt was demanded by Netanyahu. In other words, these missiles could get more dangerous as times pass. So, the Jewish state had decided with the help of the gulf and the Saudis to crible Iran economically first and militarily if possible through the United State. On the later, Israel could create a catastrophic event that could culminate a war between America and Iran. The removal of the Palestinian issue from equation will facilitate the rapprochement between the gulf and Israel in particular and the Arab world in general. After that century old conflict is removed , the next step is to prepare the confrontation with Iran. Let alone a big war, but even small skirmishes between Iran and america in the narrow strait of Hormuz will disrupt world oil supply. OIl and commerce from UAE, Saudi, Qatar, Iraq , Iran and Kuwait pass through here. A disruption will affect the world energy markets. Saudi Arabia had already built pipe lines from the east to the west to export in the Red Sea. As commerce diverts to the Red Sea and to another narrow lanes of Bab Al Mandab, Somalia will be the strategic gateway to Asia and the southern Atlantic. 30% of world crude oil and other traded of goods pass through the Strait of Hormuz every day. Let alone war, if disruption happens oil could hit $100 dollar or more again just by the news of conflict. Also, oil producing countries, including Russia and OPEC are privately encouraging war in order to increase the price of oil. Three or four years of war would increase their coffers with billions of dollars. Iran could put mines, torpedos or even speed boats to harass and discourage oil tankers. If Iran is squeezed and denied to ship oil as Trump plans, it might try to fight back and destroy the gulf assets belonging to the American allies including UAE. In this conflict, losers will be China, India, EU, Japan or any industrialized nation that imports energy. A war with Iran will be long and dangerous even for America. Because of these major trade issues the Somali waters will be the most important waterways in the world . Already more than 5% of world trade passes the Somali waters and would increase to 30% if Hormuz is closed. No wonder even landlocked Ethiopia want to build a 30,000 man navy to safeguard the sea lanes that doesn't belong to her. You might even heard IGAD led by landlocked Uganda and Ethiopia draft the Somali maritime policy. For these reasons, the powers that be want to settle the Somali issue ASAP. My sources told me that diplomats and officials landing Hargeisa for the last few weeks were not bringing only aid or the usual niceties. Most of them were bringing messages to resolve these issues. Unlike many people in Somaliland, the world doesn't have time for lecture or history lessons from these Somali nomads whether they are in Hargeisa or Mogadishu. They see how identical the Somali race is in terms of culture , religion , custom and habit. They even see how the Somali nomads have no actual borders to keep them out of the globe let alone in the Horn of Africa. A Somaliland minister in Hargeisa might leave the next morning and join the government in Mogadishu with the same capacity and no one will even notice except few people in the media. A judge in Somaliland would go to Mogadishu and even lead the supreme court of Somalia.The man who is running Jubbaland and his army had just crossed from the Somali region of Ethiopia just a decade ago and no one is debating his nationality. It is the only few freedoms we have , to room Hargeisa, Waamo or Wardheer; boosaaso or Borama without being asked a passport. Those Somalis who were officers in the Somali army who belonged to the Jesus clan in Djibouti had crossed to that country after the independence and became officers of Djibouti. No questions asked. Despite what we claim , the world sees us as a unique nomadic race who is united by destiny but divided by tribe. For the real world , a war in Hargeisa city that destroyed buildings and lasted just over four weeks is child's play compared to the eighth year of bombardment in Syria which killed 500,000 people and made six million refugees; the disastrous war in Yemen already produced a casualty of 100,000 while that starved millions, yet there is no sight to end. Half Million Ruhinga Muslims are in limbo with no where to return. Without minimizing the suffering of the civilian population of Hargeisa and Burco and the killings of those who were innocent, the Somali civil war was just an ugly skirmishes that refused to end one way or the other. If that was a real war, then wars usually end . The guns are blazing in Sool, Sanaag, Galgaduud, Bay and Kismaayo and Mogadishu. The naysayers will dismiss this just as another long Galbeedi drival, but , history had shown that the world had tried to end this Somali quagmire through Somaliland before. Just after 911, US Central Command Chief general Tommy Franks wanted to invade Somalia after Afghanistan before defense secretary Rumsfeld and the Neocons pushed the Iraq war. Top American officials went to Hargeisa and proposed to Mohamed I. Cigaal (AHN) to lead the whole nation from Hargeisa. By that time, Cigaal was diagnosed with terminal illness and was unable to push that issues. He excused himself by saying that , " it is difficult to organize and rule the south dominated by warlords combined with the powerful religious movements who were laying law" . Also, not only Mogadishu, but there was also C/laahi Yusuf (AHN) who was hell bent to be the next president (Mar uun madaxweyne I dhaha). cigaal couldn't do it. Then in 2011,, during the reign of Shariif Ahmed, Somali was not only suffering from the insurgency war of Al-shbaab, but also a devastating famine that killed thousands. Then UN envoy Augustine Mahiga went to Hargeisa and sat down with Ahmed Siilaanyo. He said, " in 1972 , when you were the minister responsible for the economy of Somalia, how much was the budget of Somalia?, he answered, " about $300-400 million dollars". well,he said, " how about if I offer you ten times that amount, about three billion dollars and rule the whole country with blessing of the UN". Ahmed Siilaanyo would have jumped about that opportunity if the offer had came earlier years. Now, frail and sick , he neither have the energy nor the oratory to sell his plans to Somaliland ( Markaan tabar hayeyna tala mahayn, imaka oon talo hayana tabar ma Hayo). The best he could offer was some relief money to Mogadishu by the civil society. Also, deep down, he thought the insurgency was difficult to subdue. To his surprise, in September 2012, the Somalis with the help of the world had produced a national government led by Hassan Sheikh. Its failure is another story. Anyway, it had been tried before. Now, the current leader, Muuse Biixi is neither sick nor old. He and the opposition both understand the opportunity to lead the whole nation. Prominent Somalilanders told me that the international community had enquired many times and want to resolve the Somali issue through Somaliland by peace initiative led by them. Some say their condition was independence after solving the issue, but others say it was a union proposal. Abiy even wanted to land in Hargeisa with Farmaajo, while Egypt and UAE proposed to finance the future army and the infrastructure of the future union. For the Arabs, the so called Arab NATO wouldn't be possible without Sudan and Somalia. A Somali trained army would crush the Houthis in half day. Pay the Somali soldier $1000/month and Somalis will take over Sana. Do you guys know Somalis joined the Iran-iraq war just for the money. You rather fight and make money than die in the high seas or sit idle in Hargeisa and Gaalkacayo. In order to push the issue President Farmaajo has done two major things that others might not do. First, he is willing to put his seat on the line and trade for unity and peace ( Kursigiisa in uu ka dego diyaar buu u yahay haddii midnimo la helayo); Second, he showed the world how the Northern Somalis were prominent in his government. In fact, the most important positions of the government is now held by Northern politicians. Farmaajo trusts more the ability and competence of the northerns compared to southerners. THe finance minister, who is one of the most prominent in his administration and the deputy premier who had shown both elequency and capacity are both from North. Crucial position like the speaker of the upper house, the supreme court justice, the bank governor and the constitutional minister are all from north as well as the minister of the Radio and Television. He is showing how fluid is the interchanges of somalis from the North to join here back and forth. This is not the Korean divide or even the old German divide. It is the decision of incompetence and tribal greed( waa mid Farsamo xumo iyo Fawdo keentay si looga baxana la garan laa yaahay). Yet despite all these moves, Farmaajo must first get out of the mess in the South and show peace in Mogadishu and surrounding region. There is no need to waste time to warlords like Xaaf and Madoobe who want to extend their term without elections. Push the national agenda without the regional men who have nothing to offer and concentrate to the pacifying of the two rivers and then focus Somaliland. If Hargeisa started talking openly, Muuse Biixi couldn't find enough jails to put everyone. Deep down Muuse is conflicted. Rather than arrest those who bad mouth him and debate with Xildhibaan Nacnac every day, he could be be the leader of the Somali free world which is big in our side. In conclusion, either the words of deputy premier Khadar Guuleed is correct by saying that Somaliland had missed an opportunity , or Somalis will think once in their life time and change direction. Either these opportunities might just disappear or we may find in a new down thanks to the geopolitics of our region and our strategic location. Hope for the best.

It already had. Why would a Somali president sit in a table and argue with likes of Xaaf, Madoobe and others for almost a week. It is very strange. He should have sent the constitutional minister or the " Wasiirka arrimaha gudaha iyo Federaalka" and come to Garoowe to sign the agreed upon document at the end. To debate the whole week with these guys will certainly diminish any stolks Farmaajo have. It is a shame.

Almost all tribes in Sanaag are armed. the tribal militia and technicals are rooming in rural area without the interference of the military. A guy who just came from Somaliland told me that the military attends only emergency clashes but mostly hides in their camps. Yet, no one is talking about these armed tribes. Other than the last few years, the Reer Bari never accepted a government system.

I agree with Duufaan. They want to put the federal government back in it's old place. The usual suspects dictating the next road map. we are back to 2011 and 2014. The Nairobi NGO's must be allowed to spend the money and distribute . Lacagta Nairobi taala waa in la qaybiyo inta aanay qasnada ku noqon. on the other hand it exposes the false autonomy of the federal government as independent entity. They all been told get together or the gravy train will dry.

Warkaasi waa Run. A friend who just came from Mogadishu told me last week that Abiy told Biixi that he and Farmaajo will come to Hargeisa together. Biixi didn't reject out right but requested that he should be given time to prepare. Wakhti ha la i siiyo ayuu yidhi. If some of us had brought that news, I can assure you that our friend Suldaanka would have rejected, but it is good to hear from the horse's mouth.

The 100,000 Awdal vote could tip the election. If the Sool region registers like everyone else from Yagoori, Buuhoodle, Taleex, Xudun and Laascaanood, the opposition could win easily. We all know Wadani is the future if the theft and children voting is not allowed.

You probably do not know math that much , but if you deduct 40,000from Kulmiye and add to Waddani ,the later will equal or win. . Awdal votes had always flatulated between . It had 111,000 in 2003; 90 thousand in 2005 and 81,000 in 2010. We know that Kulmiye stole even in 2017. Sanaag had almost 60 thousand in 2010 and less than 40 now. Saaxil which has 29,000 in 2010 got 45,000 this time around while the Awdal votes decline since 2013. The registries votes in Awdal exceeded 138,000 , yet it was the first place to test the card register and distribution. If you miss your card within two weeks , there were no chances to get back. If you remove the hundred thousand Oromo and other Somalis in Hargeisa, the whole Somaliland votes will be around 450,000 and Awdal could easily hit a quarter 25%. Besides the ghost town of Gabiley had 60,000 votes more than combined of Sool and Sanaag. If real fair election is held the Habro voting number might not even reach 300,000 let alone Kulmiye.

Reports indicate that each one of them were shot more than twenty times while on the ground. It was an execution. I do not understand where the hate and contempt of these people are rooted.

Does anyone has any idea how to tame and calm down an angry opposition which not only has the means to make your life difficult but also has logistical advantage and vast land to organize?. certainly not Muuse Biixi , an angry man who want verbally to answer anyone who says something bad is not one of them. He even have people who monitor social media and persecute those who are bold enough to criticize the dear leader. Ahmed Siilaanyo became a leader and came up with new ways of doing things in order to appease and reward for those who supported him. He quadrupled the salaries of ministers and members of parliament; he make sure to satisfy almost every clan member of SNM Habro regardless of those who voted for him or not. By opening the cash , people cursed Rayaale by hiding all this cash follow from them ( Waar ma waxanoo lacaga oo qasnada ku jirtay ayuu naga qarinayey). Little did they knew that the fair and free election conducted by the Rayaale administration had finally brought a lot of cash from donors and Siilaanyo decided to distribute the cash. Even fired ministers kept their salary and the Landcruiser they drove. Millions dollars that that supposed to bring water to Hargeisa were looted, but everyone was happy. When those from Awdal agitated, he sent emissaries from the region to calm down the waters and personally visited Awdal constantly sitting among the people. When Suldaan wabar came to the border with few men to make trouble, he sent Wabar's cousin Libaax Rayaale to lead the army in Quljeed. Sool and Khaatumo were either bribed , courted or confronted in a way that eventually led to peace talks with Cali Khaliif. The opposition party members from West Burco even got the lions share of the cabinet including the interior minister .Despite the corruption and looting of the public purse , there was tribal harmony among the Habro. People tolerated the misdeeds and corruptions of Ahmed Siilaanyo administration due to certain characters of Siilaanyo. Since he was the longest SNM leader who led the tribe , he was given certain gratitude. Also, his cognitive illness which was apparent to everyone including the opposition has allowed him to make mistakes . His chiefs of staffs were always running the show while Siiaalnyo assumed an open door policy that allowed him to meet everyone. when mistakes do happen, it was blamed on his aides. Yet, among the opposition and the public in general , there was a gentleman's agreement that said: Let the old man finish his term and retire with dignity. one opposition leader who visited Canada openly said: We can't put down someone due to his illness ( Waar odayga ma xanuun baanu ku caynaa). The Kulmiye fools including Muuse Biixi who were agitating for power had forgot that the tolerance for corruption and other misdeeds in their party was possible because people had the expectations of change after the election.. For the last years of the Siilaanyo administration, Biixi even put his men in the cabinet and changed the balance of power. Biixi didn't realize that not only he got a restless opposition but also the wrath of the public who were patient with the misdeeds of his party for seven years. For a normal leader, the most important moves should be to reduce the anger of the opposition and reduce tension in the fault line regions. There were already politically motivated tribal clashes in Sanaag during Siilaayo's reign and that issue could get ugly if the Jeegaan members were put in change of the de-escalation. A wise leader would have reduced the tension by appointing heavy weight ministers that were above the tribal stamps. He didn't realize that due to corruption and rampant nepotism the system is fragile and can't accept anymore unnecessary pressure and tribal patronage. Biixi didn't read the writing in the wall or he lives in different reality than most people. Another way to defuse the hostility is to appoint the pro government members of the opposition clans and empower them to bring peace in their regions. Give them confidence and credibility to mitigate the problem. The GX community initially was given the finance and health care ministries which are one of the main cabinet portfolios . After the opposition clans agitated and the media attacked him for something or another, he doubled down and dismissed those two and exchanged with his own clan. He used and dismissed Samatar after the campaign, and marginalized the vice president who brought him 40,000 votes from Awdal. Furthermore, he thinks he can crush the opposition by using military force. Sanaag which is one of the largest provinces of the 18 Somali regions is a third of the Somaliland land mass. No army can occupy permanently that kind of huge land. Tribal harmony is must for peace to reign. Also, Biixi, to his credit, is trying to reduce public money theft among government ministries and agencies. The laissez faire economic system that allowed business people to import everything without regulation is also been securitized by the government. Furthermore, the unearned material gains people accustomed are no longer there under the Biixi government. Hungry tribes watching others eat is unaccepted. In other words, the tribal agreement system that allowed everyone to loot and eat at the expense of institution and law had finally caught Somaliland. You rip what you sow. If you nurture the tribal beast system without check it will finally consume you. Suddenly the ruling sub clan becomes the most noble, numerical and powerful with false boastings.Those who became rich of the looting and the patronage feel entitled of the favors given by the leaders. It happened before and it is happening now. The OG community empowered and lifted by Siyaad Barre within the Somali military in the eighties , had risen up and decided to join the rebels. Having risen to the top and seeing the power close, they thought to depose their patron. The opposition members of the Jesus clan in Djibouti had replaced the native Djiboutian and other clans both in public service, cabinet and military. When they were replacing other clans like Awdalites and native Djiboutian , they never felt any injustice or regret. They finally decided to challenge the man who made them--Cumar Ghelleh. Since they were no one before him, he crushed them . Now it is inter-clan warfare, and the cry of the opposition is music tp the ears of many people. Decades of corruption , nepotism, looting and disregard of the rule of law has finally catch up to Biixi and Somaliland. In the nineteen sixties every Somali traveled to Mogadishu to gain an earned material gain without working . Eventually that system gave way for the military to take over. The same thing goes today in Mogadishu and Hargeisa. Despite the bullets and bombs flying, Somali elites go to Mogadishu to earn six figure salary from the NGO's. while doing almost nothing. Thousands of unemployed politicians are sipping tea in Hargeisa hotels waiting for the few assignments. Muuse can't continue with old system of bribing everyone with their own money, and can not manage a belt tightening system while hungry tribes agitate. Damn if you do and damn if you don't. Just like in Mogadishu the government and the opposition are joining forces with rival rich gulf monarchs. While Biixi is courting the UAE, the Wadani opposition is flirting with Qatar. Reports indicate that Sanaag small ports, Laasqoray and Maydh could be financed by Qatar and others. arms might even follow the ports. Furthermore, no one is backing down. Biixi want to keep these tensions until the parliamentary elections take place. Conflicts among clans always bring badly needed votes for the ruling Kulmiye. Despite their alliance of certain groups leaders must act for the larger interest of the people. When Gabiley misfits attacked Seemaal villagers while sleeping, Siilaanyo put his foot down and even arrested ministers while firing the army chief ( Waar ma aniga oo hadda uun kursiga ku fadhiisayay ayaad dagaal igu kiciseen ayuu yidhi). Folks , this a Mexican standoff. Unless the Sixth community comes up with new ideas expect the unforeseen confrontations. Already accusations of treason and other allegations are flying around.

I agree. This issue should have been well guarded and supervised daily until the tribal clashes disappear. Government services, constant elderly contacts and other measures should have reduced the tension. Muuse is acting like someone who is paranoid. Reconciliation isn't in his book. He want to respond every criticism with the same outburst as the opposition. Hargeisa is a thousand kilometer away from the real problems.

In Somaliland the one man supreme court judge is destroying the fragile system which could lead to anarchy and disorder. for the last decade, successive Somaliland leaders had put their efforts to prevent the justice system to function and act independently. There has been always a great fear among the leaders that a transparent and independent justice might interfere with their corruption or tribal way of governing. As soon as he assumes office, every leaders throws the old judge and brings his own man. Just like another clerk from the president's office, the appointed judge dispenses justice in favour of the president. Judges supposed to keep their jobs regardless of the government of the day. It is 2019, and no jurisdiction in the world have a one man supreme court judge. The supreme court supposed to be the last arbiter who should act with deliberation, knowledge and justice. This judicial dictator not only single handedly decides cases, but also fires and hires judges at will. In the real world, courts, presecuters and the justice system is managed and organized by a ministry or a government agency. The one man Somaliland supreme court judge Mr. Aadan Xaaji Cali is not only deciding cases like a judge but also interferes with decisions and daily managements of the district and regional courts. This guy must be very busy. He is in the media weekly to defend the government and he dismisses cases that might help citizens seek justice against the government. Last week a dissident journalist by the name of C/malik Coldoon was arrested from Burco and brought to Hargeisa without proper documentation and legal warrant. The presiding judge in Hargeisa said that there is no warrant issued by a judge and since he is a resident of Burco, his case must be adjudicated in that town. The next day, the supreme court judge interfered and either forced him to resign or assigned to another court. Almost every political case and those involved with freedom of speech against journalists is interfered by him. He instructs judges what kind of sentence should be meted to those who transgress. Those who have families in the diaspora must seek justice outside international courts and seek compensation against a rogue judge that sentences people for long years depriving their freedom with communist and dictatorship style sentences. As justice and court system declines so does the law and order. The tribal justice system of either making revenge or accepting compensation is becoming more apparent after so many years. Knowledgeable people will tell you that fewer than 25% of the cases are decided by courts and almost no one accepts the verdict. Citizens prefer tribal arbitration than going to court. These fools do not need to reinvent the wheels or create a corrupt tribal rule that mix with modern justice.. Suddenly, Khayre changed his mind and scrapped the whole process and named governor of the bank the same man who was conducting the interview. That move had infuriated members of the Puntalnd inside parliament and the upper house and suddenly increased the rank of the opposition demanding his ouster. Also, Former president C/qasim Salad Hassan had urged his Galgaduud clan to support the president and slow down the the agitation in the capital. The news in the streets of Mogadishu is that the real opposition is shifting from Galmudug boys to the Aadan Yabaal and Jowhar community. Since Galmudug doesn't have any man who is ready to replace Farmaajo in the future, they might as well get the premiership and ride with Farmaajo than just being outsiders who are paving the way for the Unaka boys. Folks, the news is that Khayre days are numbered. The issue is no more If he will leave, but when. The question is: who will replace him ?. There are men like Cali Geedi agitating for confrontation with the opposition and especifically , the Galmudug boys. Personally, I do not think that Geedi will be the man. If he becomes the premier, it will the repeat of 2007 which is a bad memory for the Mogadishu people. The names thrown around so far are: C/kariim Guuleed, the former president of Galmudug, Taabit Cabdi, former Mogadishu governor or a lady at the president's office. Will have to wait. Also, the Sixth community had asked Puntland and Mr. C/laahi Deni to conduct municipal elections and pave the way for real elections. Mr. DEni had seen the auction market that took place in Garoowe early this year and want to change the system gradually and eliminate the 66 men who chooses the leader. The biggest opposition against any municipal elections would be those who hail from Sool and Sanaag. Their territory is under Somaliland , and at the end , might lose those cushy ministerial posts they hold in Puntland. Most Reer Bari want real elections. The strange thing about those from Soola and Saaag is that they have more seats than anyone in puntland. These two communities have 25 seats together which is more than double of the so called MS boys. In order to win they just need another 9 votes , yet they chose to be king makers who want to enjoy life in Garoowe. Finally, the Sixth community had visited Hargeisa in large entourage and given an ultimatum to Muuse Biixi and other heads of the political parties. Hold the parliamentary election before the end of the years or no more money for Somaliland ( Anaga iyo Idinka way inoo kala dhmaatay ). Now, the black supervisors of the Somali region must listen the most powerful community or face cash restrictions and other issues. We must also understand that Somalis from Hargeisa to Garoowe and Mogadishu are under certain parole conditions that is imposed by the Sixth community. People should have demonstrated by the lack of security in mogadishu and Shabaab killings if they were serious about loss of life.
