1. @Tallaabo said: He is appealing to his clan voters just like the other guy from the other so called party does when he goes to certain villages and ghettos. I agree with you, but Faysal is a unique character. His attacks are effective against his enemies.
2. @Mintid Farayar said: Galbeedi, Your theory sounds like an interesting theory, but without proof, it's just another theory from the usual 'Cafe Calaacal' of the Qurbojoog Life. We also don't know if these companies are running a clean business.
3. If they are small brothers, why they killing each other? That is a great question. What is the reason for killing one another? The answer lies in the direction of "political manipulation".
4. Returning Somali refugees are flooding Bosaso, Puntland and are putting a strain on State resources. I have friends telling me their relatives in Bosaso are telling them the refugees are arriving daily. The Somali government must help these refugees .
5. @Tallaabo said: Those kids should be taught how to coexist peacefully with those different in culture, race, religion, and sexuality. I know kids are kids, but sometimes you wonder the akhlaaq and the street behavior of some Somali kids.
6. Galbeedi, who controls ZAAD now and who developed it? Is it like Bitcoin?
7. AUN inta dhimatay. Mooge, don't you work for the UN? Watch out saxib.
8. Good job by our concerned Somali Minnesotans. Call the police if you see a suspicious activity. Talk to them and record these bastards if they want to commit a massacre.
9. I agree with Galbeedi. Almost all other muslims blame Wahabism for today's Islamic extremism. It the sect everyone loves to hate.
10. (RBC Radio) Mogadishu: A few years ago people in Hargeisa were gobsmacked to learn that the get-rich-quick ( fadhi-ku-dhereg) was a Ponzi scheme dreamt up by people with the intention to get rich quickly but illegally. According to a Somali website a similar scheme could be operating in Puntland under a company called Tiens based in China. Brokers for the company use what the Somali website calls “distribution of shares” to woo investors. According to a woman who is involved in the Tiens scheme in Bosaso, Four Star, another company with similar services and marketing strategies, is operating in Puntland too. Tiens Burco branchUS$25 joining fee is demanded of any new member of the scheme. The second requirement is to buy medicines costing US$ 200 of medicines by Tiens distributed through Tianshi Distribution, which is identified on the paperwork as Tianshi Health Production Company. Tiens is operating in Burao, in northern Somalia where religious leaders and educators have warned people against being ripped off by the company whose business practices are not wholly known. They have called for Somaliland government to investigate Tiens. It is not clear how Tiens set up shop either in Bosaso or Bura’o.
11. The tales of the Lost Boys of Somalia were a national feel-good story nearly two decades ago. Countless newspapers wrote their profiles and national TV news shows paid close attention to them, too. America's answer to their harrowing plight came to highlight generosity at its best. http://www.cleveland.com/morris/index.ssf/2015/04/the_terrorist_next_door_-_when.html What is this guy talking about?
12. ^ We live in a global village and Arabic names are more dominant due to media (TV, books, etc). Our grandparents were shielded from Arab influence, but things have changed. I agree we should not abandon our traditional names.
13. ^ namrood is trolling senselessly now. He has not made a single substantive counter argument to refute what Safferz wrote. All he keeps telling us is that social sciences are useless. It looks he is new to SOL but he needs to quote paragraphs, point out inconsistencies, make counter claims, etc. That is the tradition of a smart debate on this forum. He has not done that. lol
14. Was he trying to "cleanse his soul" after that modeling gig? What prompted this young man to go and die fighting for a terrorist group? My condolences to his family. AUN.
15. @Che -Guevara said: Forget Hiiraale, 50 out of 75 seats went to a tribe, talk about injustice!! Are you serious? Is it Ahmed Madoobe's group that took 50?
16. How many wells are being digged Mooge? Which company will do the work?
17. Waiting for American corn and Western sponsorship is not a future. Due to the security situation in Kenya, Somali refugees should give any repatriation offer a careful consideration.
18. @thehassanabdi said: thought she was just another Ayan hirsi but after listening to the interview I take back my earlier comments. Good. Next time, listen or read before you open your quick mouth. SOLers will slaughter you if you mess with Safferz.
19. Saalax, great report saxib. Keep sending updates.
20. Very disturbing story. AUN maamada. I heard the mother is originally from Somaliland (related to President Egal, AUN)
