Alxamdulliah for the brother and his family, lets hope its a leson he learns from. They want to eject the Americans out of Iraq but they don’t advance any alternatives for when the Americans leave. They have no visible plans, no obvious leaders that will take over and no apparent public support. So, when you look at things from a political angle, you can see that these guys’ aims are only short-term ones and are of no use for the Iraqi people. Pride seems to keep them going not a sense of responsibility. Their country has just been taken and their families killed/captured and many are living in poverty. Now tell me that you don’t understand their stance. This my not lead to providing a better life for their ppl, but they feel as though ridding Iraq of the Kufar is a greater achievement. If we look at it from an Islamic point of view things start getting muddled up a bit. Are they doing it for the Sunnis, the Shicas or the Kurds? Why are they kidnapping and killing “Muslims†when there is 200,000 “infidels†right there in the middle of them? I also think this that area has become very blurred over time, I have suspicions that many kidnappers are have lost the plot. With many western governments taking a strong stance on this issue, they have started to target the weaker governments. This may have an adverse effect on the relations between the ‘coalition’ like it did when the Phillipino Govnt decided to pull out early due to a kidnapping a few weeks ago. I may have been quick to judge the brother before obtaining the facts and I take back anything negative that may have come out in any of my previous posts. Most of the time I just scan through the posts. I want to deal with this word ‘isurgent’. I havent looked it up in the dictionery but I’m pretty sure it means ppl going into another country/area. What I hate is the way this word is used in nearly all news reports. Like they say, if you repeat the sky is green all day and night, ppl will soon believe you. My point is, are there really any insurgents there? If so, is there really that many where every news report blames it on an ‘insurgent’? I have the feeling that its all propaganda when in fact 90% of the fighters are Iraqis.

The article you posted seems to be concentrating on the west/USA/oil is to blame for whats going on in Iraq. The truth of the matter is far more closer to home and further back along the lines of history. This hasnt happened over night. Now if you take a ride in Bill & Ted's time machine, you will witness that the love of the dollar over the years has slowly eradicated the good hearts of the muslim governments and public. Now this may not be the only reason but it plays a huge role in what has happened over the years. Governments have over time become detached from their reponsibilities as protectors of the people and protectors of Islam. This has lead to a weakness in that many muslims now live an 'unislamic' way of life and feel as though its 'ok' to do so, as alot of other ppl are. Just watching the Arabic satelite channels make me think of how much the middle east has changed in my short time away. I even hate saying this but divison amongst us is even evident in our masjids up and down the country. Having seen this, do we really have hope? Are you surprised at how weak the Ummah is? We diagree on many things and waste our time trying to either justify or hate on the other side instaed of trying to work together in the hope achieving our goals one way or the other. The muslim media is busy focusing and blaming the west for everything. The ppl have jumped onto this and believe it all. Call it propaganda but this has shown our ignorance to the bigger picture. Our demise over the years has been forgotten while we were drinking latte and listening to Tupac!

Come on then, lets hear it!

Lander says: I assume he's not a moron and he knew the risk involved in working in an occupied war zone and working indirectly for an occupying force. He knew very well the grief he would put his family through and probably knew that his loved ones would have many restless nights thinking of their son/cousin/brotha in the middle of that war zone, and yet he still decided to go ahead most likely for limited short term financial gains My point exactly! Any news on him?

A weak ummah with dreams and desires of wealth and not togetherness. This had been taken advantage of over the years but others and this is where we are today! Would love to ilaborate (spel chek) but no time!

I was really happy for D Williams. But that night was a spectacular end to 'Iron Mike Tyson'. From being champion at 21 and losing control to become a near nobody is just crazy. When he was in his prime he could knock out any one!

Hes probably thinking along those lines Can this rebuilding not be done with out 'western contractors'? And who is paying for the construction? IMF? World Bank? Iraq will forever be in debt but they gloss over this fact. A £1m electricty grid construction will cost 10 times that because the companies are free to charge as they wish, because it aint coming out of a countries pockets but the IMF! You have a point and your right, but i am a stubborn man and shall continue to argue for the sake of it!

^^I would rather starve than serve the cause of the Americans mate! But hey some ppl may run for the money as its a tempting incentive. But to do it at the expense of your bethren is utter madness. You may say desprate times desprate measures, but do they have a Dahabshiil in Bagdad? Or is it a case of stuffing it down your jeans for 3 months at a time? Whatever the guys circumstances, imagine you was one of those mujahids, then you come across a fellow somali/muslim on the other side, yeah, imagine that!!!!

^^^OK so we pay Tax  I'm also saving them money on building projects for their coffers. Thats another issue on obeying the laws of the land you find youself in, but then again, i'm not giving dacwa so why i'm i here when Somaliland is safe enough for me to live there? You analysis is correct for the most part but your not going to see me out there driving a truck risking my life and at the same time aiding in this whole process. Sorry no time for an in-depth report. But we can discuss tonight. (friday night ).

It would help if someone can provide a few ayat on this subject! Those of us with a bit more time on our hands!

We are all praying for him for aiding in the occupation of Iraq???? But these prayers were no heard when other 'muslims' were captured and killed who were doing the same thing. Oops i forgot, because he is Somali, its 'different'. Now forgive me for judging too early but i have no simpathy what so ever for this ***** . My sympathy is with the family of this fool. Rampage, we are reading from the same page brother! Allah know best!

Danny Williams went to Turkey to train for a fight a few years a go. He was awoken every morning by the sound of the Athaan, he said it brought tingles down his spine, he studied and converted. Mashallah Jamima Khan recently divorced Imran Khan as she was having an affair with Hugh Grant. she is now constantly pictured walking with him daily in the papers.

I’ll twist words, use quotes out of context and question the integrity of my opponents. I’ll call them names. I’ll retreat, attack, retreat again then attack. Very sad that this is often the case in this forum, and many a time between the same ppl over the same topics   My retirement is nearing!

lol u can not be serious man, the Euro games may not have as many goals as the defences are way better than the South Americans. A good goal in South America is due to a lack of defending whereas in europe its due to 'maskax'!

ZU say: Northerer..I do remember you claiming that you are playmaker and how you re Mr football and you were like 10 ..so I am wondering how did you end up being defender in the tournament...or you are like Mathuas of germany..playin at the age of 38, wearing 10 jersey and yet being defender....hehehehe gettin Slow huh?.... lol, somthing like that, due to a lack of fitness i was put at centre back, having always played as a striker it was a good role for me, knowing what the strikers is going to due and how to stifle his runs, like i did against Ottawa even tho they scored a lucky goal due to a mistake by the left back.lol

Henry (u wish) good to see ya back mate! There are many ppl going back home with many ideas, this is very encouraging indeed. I didnt see the News Night thing but hears about it. Coca Cola not paying taxes and distributing all its Cans across East Africa. I may just call Pepsi and persuade them to open a plant in Burco . Having plans to go home and benefiting the ppl and economy is good. I have distant dreams of doing something along the lines of a Cocrete Company, paving

Reason being that as he feels threatened by Kulmiye he sees it necessary to block their conference! There are also more sinister things going on which are not reported for one reason or the other. I HATE Riyaale
