What a joke indeed. Because we have surpassed their level of school leavers/uni grads/successful businesses in proportion to their far greater population who have been here for more than 50 years, they feel as though we are eating their piece of the 'british' cake. Dawaco says: When in fact our community is equiped with better work ethics and are achieving considerable amount of goals in a short period....What a laughable, biased and incompetence way of finding a new community to point the finger at. Very true, when things are not going your way, blame it on the refugee! Jelousy is a huge thing among the Carribean community who are basically materialistic ppl. Darkus Howe is an old fool who needs to retire, he cant even produce a clear/concise and balanced view on the topic at hand. Speaking to Asians/Jamiacans but not the somali youth. He tried to speak to someone but he wasnt really a 'switched on' brother was he? Anyway, he was speaking of something thats been going on for years, it will get worse before it get better. But hey, thats just the way it is! Lets portray the Jamaican community as victims for once,,,,,,,,,,looking for a sympathy vote!

loool, good luck indeed brother, just between you and me though there a few clever SOL female nomads over there, so get some link before hand -
A few years ago, we drove into London and got stopped by the police straight away. A bunch of innocent lads from the sheff . I asked the officer why they stopped us. His reply " because you are a bunch of nikkas in a car". To their surprise we started laughing, so they proceeded to search the car and found nothing (of course) and let us on our way.

Alxamdulliah for the brother and his family, lets hope its a leson he learns from. They want to eject the Americans out of Iraq but they don’t advance any alternatives for when the Americans leave. They have no visible plans, no obvious leaders that will take over and no apparent public support. So, when you look at things from a political angle, you can see that these guys’ aims are only short-term ones and are of no use for the Iraqi people. Pride seems to keep them going not a sense of responsibility. Their country has just been taken and their families killed/captured and many are living in poverty. Now tell me that you don’t understand their stance. This my not lead to providing a better life for their ppl, but they feel as though ridding Iraq of the Kufar is a greater achievement. If we look at it from an Islamic point of view things start getting muddled up a bit. Are they doing it for the Sunnis, the Shicas or the Kurds? Why are they kidnapping and killing “Muslims†when there is 200,000 “infidels†right there in the middle of them? I also think this that area has become very blurred over time, I have suspicions that many kidnappers are have lost the plot. With many western governments taking a strong stance on this issue, they have started to target the weaker governments. This may have an adverse effect on the relations between the ‘coalition’ like it did when the Phillipino Govnt decided to pull out early due to a kidnapping a few weeks ago. I may have been quick to judge the brother before obtaining the facts and I take back anything negative that may have come out in any of my previous posts. Most of the time I just scan through the posts. I want to deal with this word ‘isurgent’. I havent looked it up in the dictionery but I’m pretty sure it means ppl going into another country/area. What I hate is the way this word is used in nearly all news reports. Like they say, if you repeat the sky is green all day and night, ppl will soon believe you. My point is, are there really any insurgents there? If so, is there really that many where every news report blames it on an ‘insurgent’? I have the feeling that its all propaganda when in fact 90% of the fighters are Iraqis.

The article you posted seems to be concentrating on the west/USA/oil is to blame for whats going on in Iraq. The truth of the matter is far more closer to home and further back along the lines of history. This hasnt happened over night. Now if you take a ride in Bill & Ted's time machine, you will witness that the love of the dollar over the years has slowly eradicated the good hearts of the muslim governments and public. Now this may not be the only reason but it plays a huge role in what has happened over the years. Governments have over time become detached from their reponsibilities as protectors of the people and protectors of Islam. This has lead to a weakness in that many muslims now live an 'unislamic' way of life and feel as though its 'ok' to do so, as alot of other ppl are. Just watching the Arabic satelite channels make me think of how much the middle east has changed in my short time away. I even hate saying this but divison amongst us is even evident in our masjids up and down the country. Having seen this, do we really have hope? Are you surprised at how weak the Ummah is? We diagree on many things and waste our time trying to either justify or hate on the other side instaed of trying to work together in the hope achieving our goals one way or the other. The muslim media is busy focusing and blaming the west for everything. The ppl have jumped onto this and believe it all. Call it propaganda but this has shown our ignorance to the bigger picture. Our demise over the years has been forgotten while we were drinking latte and listening to Tupac!

Lander says: I assume he's not a moron and he knew the risk involved in working in an occupied war zone and working indirectly for an occupying force. He knew very well the grief he would put his family through and probably knew that his loved ones would have many restless nights thinking of their son/cousin/brotha in the middle of that war zone, and yet he still decided to go ahead most likely for limited short term financial gains My point exactly! Any news on him?
