Again, I pray to see the day aad adiga wax fahanto for the sake of fahan, allahu akbar ya north. Walee maantaad Norf ka gashatay (finally) Thanks for the correction. He didn't call us rats he said rats are better! Duh! What about the point I was making? Am I correct?

^Are you not the one making the claim saxib? The onus is on you to provide the basis for your claim (that Somalia is in the midst of Jihad). You will provide a sound basis for the following: 1. Opposing the govnt 2. Fighting the govnt (after 3 months of no action) 3. Use of suicide bombings in places where civilians mingle (or is this considered collateral?) 4. Refusal to attend peace talks (go back to your other thread about when it is permissable to kill etc)

Hmm, China on our door step. A top Chinese naval official has proposed setting up a permanent base to support ships on an anti-piracy mission in the Gulf of Aden, raising the idea that China could build foreign bases elsewhere. In an interview posted on the defence ministry website, Yin Zhuo -- an admiral and senior researcher at the navy's Equipment Research Centre -- said such a base would bolster China's long-term participation in the operation. "We are not saying we need our navy everywhere in order to fulfil our international commitments," Yin said. "We are saying to fulfil our international commitments, we need to strengthen our supply capacity." Yin's proposal, posted on Tuesday, came after a Chinese cargo ship and its crew of 25 were rescued from Somali pirates on Monday, following the payment of a 3.5-million-dollar ransom to their kidnappers. China has sent four flotillas to the region since the end of last year, with the first escort fleet spending 124 days at sea without docking, Yin said -- a length of time that added to the challenges of the operation. Since then, Chinese vessels have been allowed to dock and resupply at a French naval base. The United States, European Union and Japan all have supply bases in the region, he said. "If China establishes a similar long-term supply base, I believe that the nations in the region and the other countries involved with the (anti-pirate) escorts would understand," he said. "I think a permanent, stable base would be good for our operations." Any decision to establish such a base would have to be decided by the ruling Communist Party and its Central Military Commission, Yin said. Yin added he was aware that Chinese naval ships in the waters near the Gulf have aroused suspicions, but believed other nations understood Beijing's intention was to counter pirates. As the world's largest importer of crude oil, China is reportedly interested in establishing naval bases in Bangladesh, Cambodia, Myanmar, Pakistan, Thailand and the South China Sea to protect its sea transportation lines. Thanks to China's booming economy, its defence budget has maintained double-digit growth over much of the last decade fuelling a robust military modernisation plan. http://arabia.msn.com/News/MiddleEast/AFP/2009/December/1145221.aspx?ref=rss

^Read about it a while ago. Think I even posted a thread about it. Sad that we are in 2010 and are still relying on others to develop our countries. -

^Dhino has done nothing for the past 3 years. Hope he get himself back to his best. No doubt in my mind he is a better player than Ronaldo and Messi put together. Duke, Zizzou retired in 2006!

Ngonge, did you watch tonight's game saxib? Still think Lucas aka 'I'm not good enough to turn with the ball and I have no vision' is a good player? Aquilani won't be doing much this season either. The girly Italian needs a hair cut for a start.

Originally posted by Dhagax.: Laba-X I would like you to shed a light on the case of the innocent bystanders who are get killed by such operation....like for example the Al-Shabaab operaion in Baladwayen few months ago where a group of innocent Muslim people lost their lives.? That my friend, is the $1m question. On the one hand you have a claim that we are in the midst of a period of Jihad and that those who are participating are abiding by the Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet (pbuh) and on the other you have those same people blowing up Muslims left right and centre (even during the latter months of Muxarram). One doesn't need to produce Quranic verses, ahadeeth or scholarly opinions to establish this is wrong and not part of the protocals of jihad.

There're people who openly support and encourage TERROR among the SOL users and you can't stand PeaceNow's self-criticism as a noble Somali man. way to go .... Slightly confused are we not? What 'stance' am I demanding a ban for exactly? Calling Somalis rats? Is that a stance? Is it part of an ongoing debate? Or is it pure cuqdad and is contrary to the site rules? Please differentiate between discussions/opinions/positions and out-right cay iyo xan!

LST, identity crisis way dhaaftay saxib. Tani waa cuqdad for his own people. I'm sure his comments constitute a ban under the rules of the forum. Long overdue me says.

^Jihad or no Jihad, AS' suicide bombings that kill MUSLIMS (MPs or civilians) is UNJUSTIFIABLE. Use the same sources you suggested above and tell me otherwise. We are on the 4th page of this thread. Give us the goods LX/Nur.

Of course he wasn't! 25th Dec is an ancient Roman pagan celebration! The new Christian leaders converted the Roman pagans by promising them that they could continue celebrating their beloved pagan celebration Saturnalia. It has nothing to do with Christianity, really. Neither does the Haj have anything to do (at least originally) with Islam. All the rituals associated with the Haj are of pagan origin. But Muslims appropriated all the rituals and today they're considered integral part of Islam; in fact the Haj is one of the 5 pillars of Islam. Same is true with Christianity. I know at least two of biggest holidays in Christianity -- Easter and Winter Solstice Festival (Christmas) -- are of pagan origin. Happy New Year everyone. An Athiest who thinks he knows about religions. How surpising.
