MOGADISHU (Sunatimes) - Somalia’s president Sharif Sheik Ahmed is due to dispel the current Prime Minister Abdiweli Gaas from office for his participation in the protest against president of Iran AhmediNajad during the 66th general assembly session of the United Nations in New York. Sources close to presidential office say the move came after President Ahmed angered by the prime minister’s action in which he joined the abandonment unto the speech by the Iranian president who verbally attacked the west. The Iranian leader's comments on Thursday underscored the difficulty the international community would face in establishing a two-state solution to end the Arab-Israeli conflict should Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas succeed in his campaign to win U.N. Security Council support for a sovereign state. Somalia became the only Islamic state that joined the anti-Iran remonstration as 30 member states vacated the session during AhmediNajad’s speech. The act by the Somalia’s prime minister could be undermined the country’s relationship with Iran and Turkey those helped Somalia in the wave of the famine crisis. Iran donated Somalia with 30 million dollar in humanitarian assistance feeding the starving displaced people in Mogadishu camps. Turkey also helped Somalia with 400 million dollar which is much more than what the western nations pledged as humanitarian aid except with three cargo airplanes loaded maize.

"Turkish warships will be tasked with protecting the Turkish boats bringing humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip," Erdogan told Al Jazeera television, according to an Arab-language translation of his comments in Turkish. "From now on, we will no longer allow these boats to be the targets of attacks by Israel, like the one on the Freedom flotilla, because then Israel will have to deal with an appropriate response," he warned. Erdogan was referring to the clash on May 31 last year when Israeli commandos boarded a six-boat flotilla in international waters in a bid to stop it from breaching Israel's blockade on Gaza. Israeli troops killed nine Turkish nationals on the ship Mavi Marmara in the ensuing confrontation, sparking a diplomatic row between the two countries that has strained relations to breaking point. "Turkey will be firm on its right to control the territorial waters in the east of the Mediterranean," Erdogan added. Ankara had also "undertaken measures to prevent Israel unilaterally exploiting" the region's natural resources, he warned. The United Nations published a report last week condemning last year's Israeli intervention -- but saying the blockade itself was legal. Ankara expelled the Israeli ambassador and suspended all military ties, including defence-related trade contracts, in retaliation for Israel's refusal to apologise for the raid. ---- Turkey should just forget about becoming even with Israel and safe it's self from being raped by Israel like how the Arabs fear the Jews. another nation to manage it's politics,army ,education etc.... in return they get all the natural resources and we live in peace, it will be just like living in the west except its Somalia with funny president's name. We can ask turkey or close Muslim nation to take care of us and teach us to be civil nation until we show some signs of civilization and civil order. This is something we can consider , if somalis can't resolve their differences. Even if alshabab got terminated , others will merge and continue the madness. It's never ending cycle.

This person can make many reason as to why there is war and corruption are responsible for famines in Somalia, but I personally think peace and stability will never come to Somalia for hundred years pass. I really like to know what this guy do , speaker of the parliament . He always trying to fit in the picture, you never see him helping people nor does he ever talk about keeping the peace a true thug in weak a government. South Sudan has offered to send African Union troops to Somalia to back the weak interim government. for more Somalia has become a country where all the poor nations drop their waste . One thing is for certain , if Somalia gets million of troops from out side they won't bring stability. We remember what happen back in 93. If we can't solve our own political difference , no one will but Allah . No troops from Rwanda nor south Sudan can bring us together and make us peaceful nation again . It's ironic that Islam didn't have any affect in Somali society , it's tribalism that always wins before Islam in Somalia. People always ask me , if you say Islam is good religion and has everything as humans beings need why is that your people are fighting each other like Europeans in their dark ages or even worse ? Somalina I am not degrading the minister but just pointing few facts. We would appreciate to see photo of him with students in Mogadishu current time. All these ministers have done something but but not enough. It's either tour to Europe ,America and middle east or they are Locked up in their villa As Somali citizen I have right to have my opinions heard no complaints . If I was a minister , I will stand with the people and do what the job requirements are. I will not wear different suits , eat fancy meals and have free ticket to different conferences when my own people are suffering from many aspect.
