Talks between the Somali Prime Minister and the raskambooni faction ends in complete failure

^We hoped it will change or at least something will change but if it continues to take the same course as that of Abdiqasim then Somalia will remain to be a mess and another wasted 4 years. Sadly you think that favours the secessionists.

Abdiqasim, but not Abdullahi Yusuf, huh? ;)

Waar nimanyahow, wax isula hadha. Soomaali oo dhan baa idiin jeeda ee cid walba hays ku dirina.

Otherwise, Kenya will become a permanent 'second-class citizen' home

Bingo.

The PM is for the interest of his boss. Sooner or later, Gedo will need to decide its fate. Regardless the outcome, Culusoow admin is damaged for good.

Take in consideration that there is no other federal state in Somalia there is no federal state in the making not in the middle regions nor in south western regions nor in the south eastern regions of Somalia. The goverment has a constitution to follow yes but the legislators are in place to do work there, the constitutional primary intexture is in full force. Problem is the goverment in Mogadishu did not abolish federalism , but they wish to create a federal Somali republic following and using the legal chamber house. The goverment considers the stake holders unorganized unprepared and want to be in full control when allowing the people to establish their federal state under the supervision of the federal goverment. if you look at the rest of the country Hiiraan galguduud bay and bakool Mogadishu all have provincial administrations. The goverment wants to establish the regional states around the same time and wants to prepare all regions equally. Also it wants to measure the so called stake holders in the various regions and the people of those region in addition the regions also need to be fully liberation.

Abdiqasim was living in a hotel in Mogadish claiming presidency for a year or so until he was told to forget the hallucinations and was summoned to attend the Somali conference in Nairobi in 2002.

Jacphar, you are right, the secessionist see opportunity in the bloodshed of their brothers in the south. Very sad thinking.

Both ina salaad boy and Colonel cabdilahi Yusuf failed the only difference between the 2 is that one was called TNG and the other TFG. Cabdilahi Yusuf failed to deliver even on top of the tigrean tank he failed. The Tigrean mercenaries failed when Sh Dalxiis took over the entire country was in the hands of Alshabaab only 4 streets in Xamar were in the hands of Amisom. I give u one thing Cabdilahi Yusuf had some of the HAG warlords on his side where Cabdiqasim failed and could not bring some of the Mogadishu warlords on his side, except the JVA crew.

OK we have separatist wing here constantly showing interest in what is going in the Jubbaland project in manner we have never seen them! The question is what is motivating Them? Can a secessionist give an answer?

Because there is an ironic beauty about the humbug that the D-Block (or was it Big Tent?) members of SOL spout when talking about Kismaayo and Jubbaland that makes us all chuckle, saaxib. :D

In the last few months we heard some brilliant arguments from Xiin, Zack and many others when it comes to Jubbaland. They strongly argued that "the locals have to decide their own destiny" even when the FG used that tired old argument of the process being hijacked by some corrupt "elites". They vehemently moaned about some HAG clan agenda just because Hassan Sheikh insisted that he be involved in the process. They pointed fingers about Saacid (Xaabsade?) being a shadow/traitor/puppet of Hassan Sheikh and dismissed the backing he has from his own clan just because they happen to have a couple of sub clans from that main clan on their side.

Jubbaland is not even a reality yet but these guys are using almost all the arguments that Somaliland used to explain its independence from Somalia. However, the same guys that are employing these exact arguments today are the ones that dismiss them on other threads about Somaliland. The indha-adeeg is really impressive. :D :D

^LOL Jubbbaland aint Somaliland. Xiin and I believe in the famous "Somali unity is a must!" Our argument with the HAG is all about technicality. Idinku waa horaad ridowdeen.

Somaliland has given up its separist dreams. It wants to use the waqooyi/koonfur card and get back to the game. Now these people are afraid that Jubbaland will mess up the new dream. With the great Puntland already intact, they will have no say in Somalia if Jubbaland succeeds too. These people are very anxious! State-laangaabnimo status bey ka baqayaan.

^:)

Samafal, awoowe secessionists are just giving their two cents on the current events. SOL members should welcome all these diverse views on the latest events wherever they happen.

Ngonge, awoowe Somaliland and Jubba issues are apples and oranges. Jubba has not yet acheived the coveted stage of federal member state. Folks gathering in Kismayo wants to get there and they want SFG leadership to own the process. As you have correctly observed SFG has different design for the area.

Secessionists, on the other hand, have to contend with their internal deamons first if they want to make a play for unity government of confederacy type. You and I know recognition is not forthcoming and that door has been shot close for good.

Jubba folks are not as confused as our brothers are in Northwest. As they say "Loyalty to country ALWAYS. Loyalty to government, when it deserves it".

^^ First they were supposed to meet and now it's about following each other? Warya..before you even start, let me tell you that I have it on good authority that Siilaanyo drinks tea every afternoon. Now if you happen to hear tomorrow that Hassan Sheikh also likes tea, please don't get too excited and think sheekadaa in ay yehoodi ka dambeeso! :P
