I know what you're doing sxb and it'll not work. And Melez was a murderous capitalist not a socialist. Apples and eggs sxb.

Both went the same way in the end and both governments kept it secret for weeks. :P

The doctor has a point. A double standard of praise for Chavez and condemnation of Barre seems to exist. Doctor, I think this double standard can be explained through the fact that the general ideals and values propagated by "Socialist" leaders such as Chavez and Barre are one of which we admire. Though when these leaders nastily infringe on the "rights" of its citizens as a means of consolidating power is when we begin to to turn this admiration to condemnation. As Somalis, we are able to criticize Barre because these infringements have been felt by us or people close to us in essence it is personal whereas the infringements of Chavez is something very distant to us, something that is hard to see or feel. So instead we can only see Chavez in the lens of his values and ideals.

There are good dictators and bad dictators as i see it

Hugo chavez

Isaias afewerki

Mugabe is rageedi, the man is still fighting against European imperialism in his country send back all those English farmers back to their motherland Zimbabwe for Zimbabweans.

Gadafi was Mental and very bad for the citizens of Libya that's why they turned out to be savages after he was Killed

Mubarak was the biggest Puppet the Americans ever had in Cairo and i still think they miss him

Zanawi was also Americas biggest puppet how ever he was very bad for the Ethiopians to, he divided them along ethnic lines

Great revolutionist he was indeed. Loved by the poor and oppressed, and loathed by the west and its corporate/capitalists. He run for office three times and won it fair and square. If that's a dictatorship, then so be it. Let the western media cry fault as they wish.. RIP El Comandante.

Your uncle, Sam, tortures, imprisons and kills his opponent at will sxb (even under Obama) so spare us the righteous indignation and while you're at it, the hypocrisy too. Chavez opposed "humanitarian intervention" trojan horse and so does all reasoned people.

Ps: you're not a neo-con, you're worse; a soulless libertarian.

You support Kim Jong Il of North Korea and Hugo Chavez. Even though Kim was responsible for unbelievable atrocities towards his people. You seem to think that any Dictator who opposes the United States is a good Leader.

What if the United States didn't exist. Would you still support these disgusting dictators?

And then you refer to me as "soulless"

Why should I take you seriously? I can't think of ONE reason why I should take you seriously.

Kim was loved by his people (something even the western propagandist media could not hide) and Chavez is also loved by his people. This is the only barometer which matters. You're disgusted by Chavez, I'm disgusted by Obama, what?

And your ridiculous self aggrandising question deserves no answer.

Kim was a monster. Look South of the border to see the benefits on a free market and basic rights.
