equating qanyare with President of Somalia is just being a comedian.

President of Somalia? lol Seriously, do you believe that? Do you know the definition of "President"? Heck, AY didn't control 3 kilometers of Mogadishu when he was there with 20+ Ethiopian troops. But, let's not delve into that. Don't want to ruin your day.

Sheikh Shariif is president with 17000 AMISOM, Ethiopian troops, Kenyan troops and soon Sierra Leone?

However, Abdullahi Yusuf in 2007 had all of South Somalia, Sheikh Shariif and his lot in the Kenyan border, we all know history so stop your bias. It was in early 2008 and Nur Adde's reign it went downhill and we lost a lot of regions because of his dismissals.

Wayahay cabdilahi yusuf used xabashi to invade his own country fighting against. Al maxakim al islamiya he spend two years in kenya from 2004 till end 2006 he never really controlled the country tfg militia were running around baydhabo and there were ethiopians every where

So mr cabdilahi yusuf waited two years for uncle sam to give tplf the green light to invade somalia

Now sh sharif a former islamist was the one calliing the loudest for jihaad allahu akbar than fled to asmara when the ethiopians entered

Today they call him the moderate islamist there are foreign troops in somalia

Problem with sharif is he never said he was wrong in 2006 he never said he is right now

Who knows he might join the islamist when he loses his seat.

You guys trust somali politicians to much war these men care about their kursi

No, you are wrong Abdullahi Yusuf was there in 2005, Jowhar, Baidoa which was temporary capital. Sheikh Shariif won't switch sides, he's not like you think, it's not for the kursi but who can manage the kursi best.

And you are wrong. They controlled Jowhar, Buur Hakaba, Wanla/weyn parts of Bay, Balcad and Afgoye which we held without Ethiopian support, as well as Medina, we were fighting in Hodan we were in Kismayo and other places.

So you wonder why what happened in Laascaanood happened, you took advantage of the situation!

Gaalka dil gartiisana sii. Whatever your views on the man there is no denying that he was one helluva shrewd operator. Meles presided over 20 years of politically stable Ethiopia the last 10 years witnessing a remarkable economic growth. For that he deserves plaudits. Yes, he was cruel autocrat who spared no mercy in repressing desent to stay in power and get his way. But lets not delude ourselves that the demise of Meles will usher in an era of peace and prosperity for Somalis. Somalia's problems transcend Meles.

Zenawi or no Zenawi Somalis are their own worst enemies. Before Zenawi Somalis had foreign partners in their fights against one another, and after Zenawi they will have no difficulty in finding willing partners to replace him.

Let's be honest to ourselves for once, Somalia. There is no government in Somalia. There is no President nor Parliament. Whatever is going on now is a mere illusion and play, created by UN and NATO to entertain themselves. The country known as the Somali Republic had three Presidents and last government of Somalia was Siad Barre's government. That's the truth. Anyone or any institution after the Government of Siad Barre is bogus and illegitimate.

You are either ignorant or a liar. Gelinsoor to Cadaado. Baidoa, Afgooye, Balcad, Buur Hakaba, Wanla/weyn, elsewhere defended succesfully, Medina, Huriwa etc. In Kismayo as well.

Jowhar he was invited but we are talking in 2007, who controlled it and defended it, remember all arms was confiscated, you are speaking lies over and over because that's all you got.

Also, Sheikh Shariif has 17000 AMISOM troops, in 2004 Abdullahi Yusuf was denied this cause they thought it was military logic but they realised when Sheikh Shariif got in office who was the real opponents when he failed to win over Al-Shabaab. Also he has the support of Puntland, while Abdullahi Yusuf had Islamist and moryaan opponents. See, unlike the rest of you, we don't drag the country down with us in the name of qabiil. Look at Somalia now, Harvard graduate Abdiweli is fixing and is the most productive PM in 21 years. Fix up.

You are not making sense in 2007 the ethiopians attacked many villages but they coudent hold it cadaado they were pushed out by the muqawamo the same with gelinsoor though the ethiopians and tfg recapture it. And than were pushed out of it again in the end.

As for xamar the tfg and ethiopians were not given one chance abdilahi yusuf at the end was alone and his ethiopians friends were defeated.

Now compare it to sh sharif

He controls hiiraan all of banadir parts of shabeelada hoose majority of gedo

Galguduud and ximan iyo xeeb and puntland and galmudug are allied to him

He also controls the majority of bay region and parts of the lower juba.

Now how much did yey control when he was forced to resign

Sh sharif will be remembered for the first time in history xamar is under one admin

New constitution new parliament he did well where cabdilahi yusuf failed admit it boy
