How about Somali National Liberation Front.

That's not important adeer. Granted the ONLF aren't angels and not many SOmalis are free from traces from tribalism. Nevertheless, the name issue and all the other related issues are just nonsensical and meaningful issues which mainly supporters of Meles Zenawi's regime focus on. I doubt they would be sympathising or joining in droves, if tommorow the name was changed and was replaced with word "Islam". Lastly, it is somewhat strange and mind-boggling that Somalis would focus on the minor issue of the usage of a word, when our simple, nomadic mothers and sisters have been forced to pick up guns( as this video shows), waxba ba inaka khaldan, no?

^ you make the mistake of thinking they actually care for the suffering of the average somali ... instead of looking for excuses to discredit a legitimate resistance against the Ethiopians.

this just goes to show some peoples twisted priorities ... when confronted with such imagery all he can came away with is the meaning of the letter 'O' .... that is the name of the region and has been called that for a long time... disappointing indeed

inshalaah our brothers and sisters will be victorious .. their courage is inspiring

Ciidan gaalo oo balad islaam cududay ii jiirey

Those who are still busy on trivialities such as a name a liberation front has to take, are hypocrats. They could at least have sympatized with their bretherns who are dying of hunger and are being raped, before they run into the abode of 'all tribalsim' and find fault with a name.

Koora-Tuunshe;

Who else than the O are dying in the 'Somali' region? and who else is in the prisons of jigjiga?

I have a lot of respect for you; but you got it wrong this one. And after all, have you seen the fallacies in the outdated article you posted here?
