Salaan...

Heeeeeey, guys. This is so unfair. What happened our tradition names. No one mentioned them. Com' on. Most of you know that. We have a whole set of tradition names, including:

Xaawo

Xaliimo

Xabiibo

Shamso

Shukri

Asli

Khadiijo

Muslimo

Sahra {after the 60s}

Naciima {after the 70s}

Saciida

Awliyo

Com' on. At least someone would have included them in their list. Oh, me included. But my names were brief.

______________

Macsalaama!!

Maskiin xaa ku daray wali ma soo guur guuranosaa? xaaji khamsiintii waa hore ey kaa tagtay rolleyes.gif . u right those r great somalian names, but times had changed it seems they were farewelled with the 20th century, just like other wonderful somali names such as batuulo, ceebla, madiino, macaanto, xasno, mako & etc. Nowadays ppl seem to interest new names as they r unique & wonderful names. Like our ppl say “wixii cusub caalamka ayaa jecel”.

Ow maskiin dhaqso soo orod ha soo taag taagsan xaaji khamsiinta 21th century so khabso.

Baydan, I will not let you do that to our kids. Idil????????? Let us just say, Butaaco would be the first one and Kuluco would be the second choice.
