  1. Brother needs to get paid this summer
  2. Its good to fell respected everyknow and then. being called titles such as Sir Rookie puts shivers up my spine. currently working towards my Lordship that is if queen Lizzie cuts a brother some slack. honestly if someone earns a title he should be called by it.
  3. Call me cold hearted but i wouldnt shed a tear for a chicken, even if we were the best of budies, you should have tasted it to see if it was true that it tastes good, the B.I.G might have had apoint
  4. Asalamu Alaykum Nomads we are deeply saddened by the loss of an outstanding brother, Maxaamed Ismaciil was one the great prides of somalis, He was by far the most influential person of all UK somali students. To me he was the first person who welcomed me at the gates of higher education. through the years he has became an inspirational mentor and a good friend, who always persuaded me to go for the best. I am sure to all that knew him will feel the same. Maxaamed's death has come to us as a shock but lets hope this will bring us closer together and ensure what our priorities in life are (ISLAM) Illahi a unaaxaristo and inshallah open the gates of janaah for him.
  5. A friend of mine who works in one of the london local communities told me that a significantly high number of our youths are suffering from sexually transmitted infections. At first i did not believe him as we are Somalies and we cant have these types of problems. He told he had evidence proving that hundreds of somali youths are suffering from these infections in the UK. How do we takle or even discuss something that is so embarassing. how can somali parents teach there children of these dangers with so much peer preasure to have sex. or should we ignore the problem until the situation becomes like South Africa.
  6. Reading the messages of all the nomads on this topic it clearly shows, that non of us whishes upon descrimination againts another. Reading most the topics, in General I clearly see that almost all the Somalis in this site oppose all our traditional bad habits. what I want to know is are we a MINORITY, and believe me i have been to alot of somali sites and spoken to alot of Somalis who would wish for better and peaceful changes. Q? are the people who have these positive opinions a minority, and if not shouldnt we have the greater voice to makes changes favourable to our views.
  7. Maybe not winning the war but winning the support of other nations, Mr Hussain should allow as much media access in Iraq as possible, news papers such as the mirror should get exclusives of how the weapons are being disarmed. If bush goes to war with the UN reselution in progress, he would loose his credentials internally as well as internationally, Mr Blair would have to resign and France, China and Russia will be forced to use their Vetos
  8. Brothers & Sisters patience is a virtue. many of the so called large and united nations were not always so coherent there was a time when they to had dark days, as the brother has mentioned US went through that stage. unfortunately our beloved nations is at this phase at the current time. i say patience because many of us in the western are in full time education to contribute anything to somalia, the West as bad as it is have provided us with facilities which we can use for our own advantage. We should NOT expect nor accept a resolution from the so called warlords, these are immoral men who only care about their own interest. Finnish your tasks where you are currently situated and use your enhanced knowledge to implement and innovate Somalia. I am a young man and havent seen my nation in 17 years, call me optimistic but i have dreams of taking a role in the reconstruction of Somalia. I refuse to let my future children go through their life hood without a home. It is us how have knowledge therefore it is us who should guide our nation to the right path. I certainly want to be a member of the SAVIOURS of Somalia not the ones who gave up. I hope my little words shall be a inspiration on those who feel they are loosing hope. Our people back home are waiting for our help, we should not be waiting for them. SALAM
