  1. Ciyaal dugsi-good memories! Never had the pleasure of visiting Merka or Baraawe.
  2. Jalle...Al-Shabaab is pragmatic, more than people think. That's why they come out to say they are not in war with Xisbul Islam even though these two would eventually clash and that the fight wasn't over religion. It was merely about one man disrupting peace for selfish reasons. They are beginning to master politics, knowing when to use religion as cover and when not to, when to exercise their military prowesses or seek the support of local clans. Their letigimacy will take hit every now and then, but luckly for them, their opponents are even more illegitimate and far less credible.
  3. ^Bac madow waan maqley laakin feer iyo faralaab maas arkin ama maqlin. I was reading this article way way back about Hongkong having the first and possible the only shelter in the world for abused men.
  4. ^That's not what he said.According to him, you "unintentionaly" walked into the women's section hence abrupt departure.
  5. Imagine a Xaliimo doing this to Farax, it would have been really funny.
  6. Abused Asian men's lives 'living hell' By Sanjiv Buttoo Asian Network More South Asian men married to British women are becoming the victims of domestic violence, it has been revealed. The National Men's Advice Line found 9% of calls for help to its service last year were made by men originally from countries such as India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. Pakistani Mahmood Muhammad (not his real name) married a British-born Asian woman four years ago. Her family promised him that he could finish his degree in Pakistan before joining her to live permanently in West Yorkshire. bbc
  7. NGONGE...Very unreasonable demand, I gree, and what's with this enforcing conformity unless the school has uniforms to begin.
  8. ^That's thought. Xidigo-Let's pull resources and put together a legal team, so next time Siilaanyo comes to the UK (I have never seen him in the US), we could file suit.
  9. ^Easy with the word like Xaq-Somali don't know Xaq even it was 18 wheeler coming right at him, but for those that celebrated prematurely yesterday,
  10. Can we (including Xidigo) file lawsuit against those who killed the four innocent men from Borome  NGONGE....I think it's safe to say it's not your local maqaaxi guy that filed the lawsuit, but your point is taken.
  11. A&T-Both Puntland and Somaliland would eventually be overrun by Oromo anyway. Their population is growing and soon enough will be thriving. No wonder Godane was concerned about Xabashis trickling into the north. He went as far as saying, don't rent them your houses.
  12. Madoobe was chased out of town...Happy now Johny
  13. NGONGE-There's comparison, but the "Isamists" are better structured than government forces. Johny..Don't get your hopes up, I hate to see the disappointment on your face.
  14. ^Supposedly, 70 gadiid (lorries I imagined) were detianed or confiscated by Ethos. All Somalia comes under Ethos sphere of influence. Riyaale and opposition is liptied about the whole thing.
  15. Sayid-Now, you are jealous, Qaloocan is getting more traction than your dusty Qardho. I one time passed dat Qaloocan of Zakinah, better than Qardho in town style Nuune Hello juxa..feeling better?
  16. Sue..How's knitting coming along? Johny...Leave Qaloocan out of this.
  17. NGONGE-What is "government forces" is debatable. So called government forces are essentially militias that only answer to their respective warlords. Abdi Qeybdiid has own militia, so is Indhacade and Goobaanle. There is also those the Xamar residents called "copy" from Yeey's time, there is Maxkamada or Islamiyiinta qunyar socodka, and then there's clan militias. Sharif has no or little control over them. What holds them together is the common enemy. No, there's no real structure or unified command.
  18. ^There are no Sharif forces unless we are counting AMISOM.
