That's why they come out to say they are not in war with Xisbul Islam even though these two would eventually clash and that the fight wasn't over religion. It was merely about one man disrupting peace for selfish reasons. They are beginning to master politics, knowing when to use religion as cover and when not to, when to exercise their military prowesses or seek the support of local clans. Their letigimacy will take hit every now and then, but luckly for them, their opponents are even more illegitimate and far less credible.
