Stoic.....I have my own theories about the foundation of Somaliland cohension, unity or identity which differentiates from the rest of the Somalis. One thing rings true for all Somalis including our northern brothers, tribalism is corner stone of our lives and seeps into everything. We just need to figure out a way to live with and minimize its destructive nature. On side note, Ciidagale friend was joking that they should bring Riyaale back, he was referee for Habros...lool

As much as I like to think we have some common sense, I believe the President and the Kismayo team were told to follow the stabilization plan laid down by IGAD. The plan includes the establishment of Juba, which if we are to believe the Ethiopian Prime Minister has their blessing as well.

I an neutral as I have no stake in it though in the larger Somali context, I do want the place to stay peaceful and work properly, But I do think Abdirahman is not examining the deeper issues but just looking at the faces around the president and blaming their actions on entire tribe.

The biggest problem any Somali anywhere in the Horn is extreme poverty and ignorance. If we examine his conspiracy against the President's tribe, can we honestly the average HJ is better off than any other citizen of the land? Let's not confuse the president and his inner circle with an entire tribe who are as poor as any other Somali. If you gonna fault his administration, fault him for not creating jobs, building infrastructure, nurturing good governance, etc but let's not make his tribe the issue.
