This was sanctioned by the traditional elders of Pland.....Come one, tell me more believable story. I can't believe one would make up story to play down Zamzam tragedy. This is sick. The author wants to restrict marriage to his clan. Fine by somaliweyn, He can go to his racist little corner. Qof Ka maan Gaban ma jiro xoola haan.

Man, I did really bad, but I don't think Iam bad driver, maybe little reckless sometimes and that might due to the fact that live in Boston where you have to be aggresive specially in rush hour. Those from da beantown would understand. Now who are the worst drivers, I would say Chinese women. Go behind a car driven by chinese woman, n you would agree.

New president says one year to stabilise Somalia
Che -Guevara replied to General Duke's topic in Politics
Thats too ambitious, I think. Lets first see if he can go to mogadisho, and stabilise that place in one year let alone the entire Somalia. -
BAAQ NABADEED (OO CULIMADA GOBOLKA T/DHEER) AY KA SOO SAAREEN COLAADA
Che -Guevara replied to Gabbal's topic in Politics
Oda-Wow Duqa, yu can't this war to start, very eager indeed. Could that be you won't be there in person to actually fight in it. When that happenes war is guarenteed as you would attempt to foolishly enforce your dream of Sacred unity. The only one seeming to enforce anything now is Somaliland. I don't see any Somali army taking orders from Mogisho marching towards Waqooyi Galbeed. N even if proper and well functioning goverment is installed, I doubt it will declare war on anyone. Besides any war in Sool won't between two States. It would be largely prolonged nasty tribal war between Qabiils. Somaliland will not wither away, even if that is your fantasy, you will have to face up to the reality. Dats true, n the oppisition to Somaliland from Sool will not also wither away. It is time you face up to reality. -
ETHIOPIA IS NOW ONE STEP CLOSER TO ANNEX SOMALIA
Che -Guevara replied to garyare's topic in Politics
Ethiopia annexing Somalia, Naaaaah. Using warlords to influence Somali politics yes. Anyway, I think Ethiopia is big disaster waiting to happen. They have their own demons to deal with, AIDS, Poverty, over-population, chronic unemployement, desertivacation, armed rebels, tribal war, and the list goes on. -

Originally posted by Kowneyn: Many feel the time has finally arrived to finish the unfinished civil war of the former Somali Republic. Kowneyn You mean that you feel it is time to finish the unfinished business( Watever dat is). Soomaali waxay tiraah daa Aqoon Xumo Abaar Ka daran. Obviously, you haven't learned anything from 20 yrs of Somali wars. No authority state or otherwise can impose itself on people. Save your time, you may win few battles in Sool, but eventually you will lose the war. Why you might ask. The simply answer people in Sool by large don't want Sland. Arrin xumona abaar ka daran. Dowladii ku talisay Sool dagaal ha lagu qaado, iyada uun baa ku jabi. Somaliland goverment has proven itself to be incompetent beyond any reasonably doubt. If it attacks Lasanod, it is another example of its incompetence. The matter of the truth is the south has done everything humanly possibly to help Somaliland cause. A decade of southern unrest and out right anarchy was more than enough for Sland leaders to deliver recognition, and they failed. Now, you are simply frustrated and take your frustration on someone. So my advice to you is if you wanna finish unfinished business. Finish off your goverment, and replace it with something worth your cause. N stop your useless warmongering against poor people of Sool cuz they are not standing in your way. -
Ok ppl, I save some trouble. Riyada ka wada baxa. Yeey is president with no capital, no standing army, no financial back up, and is hated by almost everyone.Anyone supporting this dude is living in some twisted dream. Somaliland is weak state run by the very people that it fought to overthrow. A decade of stability hasn't brought any closer to independence. The country is vastly poor, high unemployement, many war victims bearing physical and mental scars, and little education for its children. Its eastern regions depend on Bosaso for trade, and the goverment does not have control over its entire terrotory. The goverment has failed terribly, and is becoming totalatorian. Anyone expecting such administration to deliver recognition is also sadly living twisted dream.

I think the call for foriegn troops is premature. Yeey should first name his prime minister, who should in turn set up the cabinet. Disarment would be most difficult in Xamar. He can start with mogadisho by appointing warlords in mogadisho. He already stated warlords would be rawarded with ministerial posts. The likes of Aydiid, Qanyare, and Dheere would be willing to settle for ministerial positions, and I believe might just agree to dismantle their forces. The business community will also be willing to give up arms if they have state proctection looking after their interests. The Islamic court, Sudi, and Cato might spoil things. For Yeey to succeed, he needs to engage everyone, and point out spoilers. He needs to respect the rule of law, and he needs to prove to Somali people as he is worth support. N finally he needs to remember he is appointed president of Somalia not Puntland. So, no one man show. Foriegn troops should only be brought in to Somalia to train Somali Armed Forces. If Xamar is taken care of, disarming rest of Somalia would be easier.

Hasna-You will only get baised opinion here, too many spin doctors. People will tell you things in manner that goes well with their own agenda. It is hard to some facts out of anybody. As for new Somali president, Yeah he is killer, but so are all warlords, and so called leaders. They are one and da same. It just is that Somalis would have believe one killer is better than other.N this is why you get the so many useless articles pertaining to so called leaders. Some Somalis praise them, and others condemn them, but in the end the truth are all killers.

Somalia: After the luxury comes the hard work for new president
Che -Guevara replied to Xarago's topic in Politics
JustCause-People here are confused about us since having the same avator.Maybe one of us should pick something different....lol Smith-So she just doesn't like the south being on its agian. I doubt that. -

Any real Somali reconcialation process should have been in Somalia, and more reasonable people should have been elected to highest office. -

HornAf-Thats not me replying, but Xarago has point Yeey is not of man of reconcialation. I doubt that he changed overnight. I guess we will wait and see how he does things. -

Maybe it is you that want revenge on others. N plz accuse me of something else other then supporting Yeey. I don't like the guy nor I don't support his presidency, but it seems you have developed some admiration for him considering how often you talked about him. So, spare your labels, and norrow spitiful daily ranting. Milla-tnt- It is difficult for all Somalis to accept truth. They want to mask their failures by inflating their self importance, boasting, and putting each other down. -

Originally posted by AYOUB_SHEIKH: Excuse me for my ignorance, after two years of talks why does it need foreign troops - Ethiopian or not - to disarm the malitias? I thought the talks were a 'peace process' and were going to lead to voluntary dissarmament of these malitias. [/QB] Hehehehheeee....Voluntary disarment...dat will be da day. N this wasn't Somali peace process. It is more foriegn engineered "reconcialation process" which designed to return Somalia to some semblance of stability. Which civilians are you talking about the ones that were killed pre-1991 ot post-1991? Well alot of innocent people were massacred pre and post 91 all over Somalia, but Iam referring to those killed in Xamar in 1991, and who are ethnically cleansed from Xamar. The next verse of your signature went....D- dhamaayo waan dabaal dagaynaa...atleast how those in mogadisho recited it. P.S people regardless which region you came from, the truth all Somali people are world's poorest of the poor, all lack any decent govermental structure that will secure security, peace, progress, and prosperity. All children are largely left uneducated, and the future looks dim. All lack any influence in the horn , let alone in the world. So you can take comfort in boasting about some non-existent goverment or putting each other down, the reality is at the end of day the Somalis are nothing in the world today, and mean little to the anyone. So calm down everyone. -

Xarago-He is seeking troops from AU, not Ethoipia. The man is crazy but I don't think is ****** enough to ask for actual Ethoipian troops to be present in Somali Soil, and all of places in the Somali capital. This is not a new news. He stated his intentions of seeking foriegn troops eirlier. Nothing is suprising here. Anyway, you can't wait to see him slip. Don't worry it will come sooner or later. P.S a bout your signature, "Ninki dhof ku yimid ba geeridu dhibeysa..!", I use to hear people Xamar sing in 91 while innocent civilians were being massacred. I hope you are not of those people chanting it coz dat would be seriosly distrubing!! -
Fear and phantom enemies keep masses in check. There was big bad Soviet, now the radical Islamists, tomorow The red China, and so forth.

SomaliGalbeed and NDF are not dead dreams as long as the Somalis in these lands strive for independence. Who comes to power in Somalia really doesn't matter much now as Somalia can't effectively do anything.
-
People, Lets pray for this little gal and condemn the culprits if the story is actually true. If the story is fabrication, lets condemn those that would make up such horrible story to score political points.

Xoogsade...I guess the question is the desire for peace by the public carry more wieght than the warlords's desire to create havoc with their armed militias. Mogadisho will be the litmus. I guess we will wait and see.

Originally posted by Rahima: The warlords may not, but the general public will. Ironically, Yeey is being welcomed by most of general public in Mogadisho and Gedo, the two places I thought would be most angered by his inuaguration as president of Somalia. It just shows average Somali is tired of wars, and is willing to give a chance to Yeey. Xoogsade....Old habits die hard and I doubt Yeey would give up his old ways of handling things, but I guess we will wait and see.
-
I doubt anyone in Burco celebrated , but they might be wondering what will become of them if Yeey actually succeed in securing peace and stability in the south, and world buys into the idea of One Somalia. I think the more interesting and important thing here is how Yeey will be recieved in Xamer Caddeey.

Somaliland admin taking a stance and new support from Mogadishu
Che -Guevara replied to Suldaanka's topic in Politics
Thinks have changed forever. [/QB] Oh yes, things have changed alright, and it is back to sixties, and the coming the third Reich.....LoL In fairness, Yusuf did win fair and square. Suldaanka....People should worried about Ina Yusuf, his past and his future intentions. Having said that I think the articles in Hoybonet, and Dayniile seems to be written by bunch of bitter people. -
So is Somalitalk.com, and I had problems at times with few others.

SOL declares Abdullahi Yusuf the winner.
Che -Guevara replied to Libaax-Sankataabte's topic in Politics
Well there are a lot of us not happy with how things turn out, but I believe we should put our differences aside, and support the new goverment so we could restore the Somali state which would hopefully provide peace, security, and our dignity as nation. -

Smith-I Guess we wait and see-It is now confirmed Yusuf is the new president. There was an electric outage, but now the ballots are counted n Yeey made it.
