I have few friend in the national guards. Iam not sure what rules are if they get deployed to a war zone. I know their jobs are guaranteed upon their return from the service.

Cambarra....Iam all for working flexible conditions, but asking employers to count maternity leaves as continous service (service to who exactly since the employers aren't benefitting from this arrangement), and considering absentee employees for possible promotion is just bit much.

Dhagahtur told Shabelle that the troops he was leading were tipped that a group of armed men were meeting at the area where the incident happened and planning to fire mortars at the State Radio near the presidential palace, south of Mogadishu. “We have been informed that a group of insurgents were about to bomb Radio Mogadishu, so we had to take action. We have not intentionally planned to attack Dr. Ulosow’s house,” he said. At least 8 people were wounded after heavy gun battle took place at home of Dr. Mohamoud Mohammed Ulosow, the political of leader of sub-clan on Tuesday afternoon. Members of the clan leaders were soon to blame president Yusuf for the attacks. Ugas Abdi Dahir, a traditional elder said Mr. Yusuf planned the attacks on the sub-clan. Former Somalia president Abdikasim Salad Hassan was among the clan leaders who convened in Mogadishu, discussing the political future of the clan in the transitional government.
