  1. ^ Ibtisam is a hardcore sl and snm supporter, don't let her fool you. She should definitly be the captain of the Sl team, with her fake neutrality scheme, she is deadly. The puntland team on the other hand seems very weak. Che guavera? Xiinfaniin? Are they even from puntland?
  2. AfricaOwn I'm not talking about myself, but puntland leaders, I don't support any individual, I support the well being of my region and to some extent the well being of all somali's. Puntland leaders did not support ethiopian occupation, but they did support the internationally recognized president of somalia because he was a former president of puntland. It's that simple. Somaliland on the other hand had no reason to support and ally itself with ethiopia, yet they did. Can you explain that?

They will probably go after the puntiland leaders who were the biggest supporters of Ethiopia's occupation first don't you think? Possibly, there are some al shabab sympathizers in puntland but al shabab cannot set foot in puntland forcefully. Puntland leaders were supporters of the A/Y, not the TFG or Ethiopians. Somaliland leaders on the other hand were supporters of the ethiopian government and allow ethiopia to use berbera port.
  5. My first job was a newspaper delivery, I believe i was 10 or 11, I quit in the winter after a few weeks. Imagine delivering newspaper(and other mail) in -16 degree Celsius weather. Not cool.
  6. ^ Al shabab are coming for your three stooges uncles riyaale, silaanyo, waraabe next. For those who know, was Xaabsade former RRA? I thought he'd have some support in baydhabo. But these youths seem to be unstoppable in the south. Let them win in South Somalia, we're all tired of this long stalemate some group has to win for a change.
  7. Who in the blue hell hell deleted my comment? As I was saying the next president will be selected on tribal lines and Shieck sharif fits the bill at this point, the prime minister will also be selected on tribal lines. Either way, let's hope they can create an administration in the south that can work with both somaliland and puntland.
  8. Antonio Margarito Vs Shane Mosley. One of the best boxing matches I've seen in a long time. http://msn.foxsports.com/boxing/story/9131310/Mosl ey-shows-he's-not-too-old

Considering circumstances such a fragmented society that we are today and the feeling of conflict of alligiances (state & clan) by the society at large so all these facts alone will reallistically speaking not allow us to restore law and order by ourselves alone at this stage therefore we need help. The Pakistani's have gone into somalia, canadians, americans, africans. All have been unsuccessful as peace keepers(all these peace keepers have also committed heinous crimes in somalia as well). The peace keeper approach does not seem to work in somalia, I think somali's in the south have to work things out on their own somehow. The problem in the south is there are too many clans and ideologies(suufi, al shabab wahabi's, seculars, moderates etc), it's next to impossible for them to find any common ground, but they have to do it somehow.

Al shabab should rule south somalia, they seem to be the only group who has legitimacy and brought peace to the south in kismaayo, merka and others places. Although I cannot agree with their seef labood ideology. Glad to hear that brother. That was not an endorsement of al shabab by any stretch, but the sooner AMISOM and other foreign troops leave, the easier things become. Although history would indicate that as soon as AMISOM leave, somali's will still continue to kill each other, but it is still better than foreigners killing innocent somali's.
  11. Originally posted by Warancade Al Falastini.: ^In the other thread, you said they brought peace to the cities under their control. Alshabab' top men are from Hargeisa, bay, and Northern Mudug. If you don't know then you need to start looking up. And as I said, it's all mind. All mind. They brought peace to kismaayo and other cities, there is no doubt about it. But they also brought a fanatical justice system where people are assassinated and girls stones for no reason and beheadings. I was just being pragmatic in recognizing the good they have done, but the al shabab are also responsible for many killings in somalia. If the local people want and support al shabab, then they should rule, but if the local people don't, then they can take their jihad somewhere else. Simple.
  12. ^ What about you?, do you consider yourself somalilander or do you believe in the somali republic? You praise these so called al shabab leaders from hargaisa, who are destabilizing others people's lands and regions. Regions where they have no family or livelihood, It would make more sense if they started their 'jihad' on their home turf of hargeisa and the triangle where ethiopians operate freely.
  13. The SNM, more commonly known as the khat rebels were the weakest jabhad, anyone who knows any history will attest to that. Without ethiopians support, they'd be nothing. They were after-all a disorganized, emaciated rag tag militias suffering from khat withdraw. jaad la'aan baa waalay kuwaas.

Why do you think shieck sharif will make a good leader and president of somalia? Why do you support him? He seems like a typical somali politician to me right now.

  23. Allah ha unaxaristo, though I know nothing of the man. Why was he killed by the amxaar, was he ONLF leader?
  24. I don't understand this whole censoring qabil thing, I wonder if I go to a kenyan forum, they'd have the words "turkana, rendile, borana, samburu, kikuye, Jaluo" censored. Unlikely. Very moronic idea by the SOL admin. Why censor qabil names at all?
