  4. There will be no "Presidency" in the next federal Somali republic Adminstration. The next leader for the republic will be a Somalilander or a Khaatumo-ite:
  5. You guys are reading a little too much into this. The first row is clearly left for the "stake holders" i.e border states. Kibaki,Zenawi,M7, Guelleh and Ergodon?-(and the host nation)....in any case,. this is clearly not the official photograph for the photo op session. As you can see, they are not ready. Cameron is clasping his hands together suggesting or saying "ok lets gather around and smile for the cameras"-as more dignitaries arrive(cadaan dude from the right)...

If i were you,i would quit while ahead The thing is,Sir. Somalia's problems, is Somali(Lands) problem. It is also Kenya's, Ethiopia's, Djabutis and the rest of the world's problem. That is why they are all @London today. SL-ers should be the first on the table with ideas and ways to sort out the mess that is SOMALIA....Not stand from the balcony ; hands akimbo and say "war dee sort yourself out"- after all, we are one PEOPLE and you recognise that too(with your admission that when somalia is smooth, then we can talk). Lander: Nobody said SL should not be recognized. That is for the UN and the international community
  18. N.O.R.F;792741 wrote: Not narrow Faarax but real. People on here seem to be more concerned with Somaliland not receiving recognition as if its the be all and end all of everything when Somalia itself isn't independent. Somalia is being run by it's neighbours. It's affairs are in the hands of the UN and IGAD but its all ok as long as Somaliland isn't recognised. I was just making that point. I see, you are responding to the narrowness- I Do see where your are coming from tho...It is natural to be defensive...
  19. N.O.R.F;792719 wrote: Any english sources? The agenda for the conference was always about fighting piracy, terror and the road map etc etc. Having said that the UK Foriegn Minister meets the President of SL and calls him a president in his post meeting comments. Not sure what difference this 'news' makes but Somaliland is attending a meeting where Somalia will be told it must do a, b and c and put into UN/IGAD trusteeship again losing the little soverignty that remains. Who is the independent one here? Is putting things into perspective too much? Talk about not seeing the woods for the trees. Quite narrowish there Horn. ...We are all one nation. One country is lawless and another Country "stateless"- we are missing out on both ends, arent we? But in any case, The sooner SL realizes that it is in their interest for a unified Somalia, the better. I dont understand the need and or the urge to be independent. You can be sovereign with a unified federal country after all,No?. Of course, Hargeisa can be the capital city and the president be from SL/. It is time, SL sacrficed for every somali and make this happen. Lets be 1.
  20. ^Your sure ur judgment is not clouded by your political stance? I can understand where he is coming from-these state dinners are ultra boring.
