Duke Just one correction the Ambassador to the UN is from Bulo burde district of Hiiraan. Same clan different location. However I would like to also add that you are correct in asserting that the clan distribution is working fairly. Unlike the UIC were it's figure heads were from one clan and more so selected from one sub sub clan. The TFG is diverse.

Where are the parents? These kids are crying out for attention. They need dhaqan celis. A couple of Reer miyi clan clashes in the middle of a savannah/desert will scare the crap out of these little buggers.

Western companies will officially control Iraq’s oil soon
Taako Man replied to Wisdom_Seeker's topic in Politics
170 billion barrels of Oil and at 60 dollars a barrel thats roughly 10 trillion dollars. It only cost 1 dollar to pump the oil which means that.... The war in Iraq at 350 billion dollars is only a minor price to pay when you've got 9.5 trillion reasons to stay in IRAQ. plus geo-political control over world oil resources. -

A tip of the iceberg proof: Implicated in extrajudicial killings The U.S. Department of State, in its 2002 Country Report on Human Rights Practices, identifies milita members loyal to Ahmed as being responsible for at least two deliberate killings of non-combatants while he was president of the disputed regional state of Puntland: * On January 11, 2002, Garah Mohammed Said Gom'ad, a prominent businessman, was reportedly killed by forces of Yusuf Ahmed in a deliberate attack in which Yusuf's militia reportedly stopped his car and Gom'ad was fatally shot. *On August 17 2002, Sultan Ahmed Mohammed Hurre, a British citizen, was killed by bodyguards in the employ of Yusuf Ahmed as their respective convoys passed each other approximately two miles south of the Puntland town of Garowe. Hurre was known for opposing the extension of Ahmed's presidency in the state of Puntland; according to the press reports , he was targeted by Ahmed for arrest as a religious extremist. Ahmed later claimed that the killing was accidental, but witnesses claimed otherwise. The Country Report says that by the end of 2002 no action had been taken against those responsible for the killings. Militias associated with Yusuf Ahmed have also been implicated in the killings of Col. Farah Mohamed Said ("Farah Dheere") in Garowe in 2002, and of traditional leader Malaaq Seemow Abdi Garuunin Baidoa, on June 9, 2006. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abdullahi_Yusuf Basically his clansmen have been reportedly, allegedly, and associated with incidents. No proof of the matter that he's killed anybody. Their are only reports and allegations. Anyhow, WHERE ARE THE GENOCIDES IN BARI?. Or are you still looking throw the web MR TALIBAN.

1. Do you support Sharia'? Yes ofcourse. 2. Do you support the ICU? No I don't. Clan 1.0, covered with Islam was a sham and was shown to be a sham with Indhacadde and the like thereof. 3. Do you identify yourself as a moderate or Islamist? I am a Muslim. Moderate, islamist and all other terms are divisive. There is only one islam. Not a clan islam. Nor a moderate or islamist islam. JUST ONE ISLAM.

It states both Puntland and Somaliland have oil reserves saxiib.

Originally posted by Taliban: quote:Originally posted by KEYNAN22: Anyway there is no proof of abdullahi yusuf being involved in the disgusting slaughter of somali civilians and the man made famine in the south and moqdishu region during the 90's. He was busy building peace in puntland during this period, so calling him a mass killer is a bit dishonest and misplaced. There's clear proof of the clan president Abdullahi Yusuf being involved in the slaughter of innocent civilians, in both Bari and other regions. It's only natural a warlord would engage in slaughtering innocent civilians, therefore, Abdullahi Yusuf being one of the top warlords, he couldn't evade the handiwork and trademark of warlords. Of course, to the clan president's close kins and inner circles, he's not a warlord and war criminal. What proof? He has not slaughtered people, like some warlords in Xamar have. He has fought a war with Jamaac Ali Jamaac and the casualities on both sides were present but not like some would say ' were genocidal'. He fought a Guerilla war with Siad Barre. Some will say he killed Siad Barre's kinsmen in the border regions of Somalia. Siad Barre a president of Somalia killed many citizens of Somalia himself, including those of Abdullahi Yusuf kinsmen in Galkacyo and North Mudug region as a whole. What do you expect him to do? Sit silently? He has never occupied somebodies house, he was president of puntland and never hunted his citizens down like some other somalis. NOW WHERE ARE THESE BARI KILLINGS OR ANY OTHER REGION? DO YOU KNOW WHEN TWO OPPOSING SIDES FIGHT THAT THERE WILL BE CASUALTIES OF WAR? IF YOU DON'T WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT THEN KINDLY LEAVE MATTERS TO THOSE WHO DO KNOW.

Is there a reason why you repeated the pictures 4-5 times? Anyhow here is a pic I found in London. I guess height is a factor for recognition?

^ The golden gate bridge is only a couple of KM. This is 4-5 times larger then anything ever proposed. However if anybody can do it. It is those pesky Emiraties.

850 Muslim Nigerians troops on their way to Somalia.
Taako Man replied to General Duke's topic in Politics
Bilaal that claim that ethiopians have taken over the Town has been rubbished by the Gen Mahdi. Secondly, The Somali parliament approved foreign peacekeepers. A majority of the 275 parliamentarians voted for the AU. The international community si behind it, Whilst the AU force will help train the thousands of troops/police in Hiraan, Banadir, Gedo, Jubbada hoose etc The only one saying they are uninvited is Qaadisiya and the like thereof. Including your source for the Ethiopian claim, the great prophetic, truth keeper shabelle.net. -
Shucayb The Golden Gate is a lot smaller project. This is very different. Northerner The UAE is seemingly the first for everything. They take on projects most wouldn't and attempt to supersize everything as you probably know intimately from daily life in the UAE. The feasiblity is possibile. I doubt the project would cost a mere 1 billion on second thought. But a formula where Djibouti, Yemen, and the UAE share revenues could quell any financial worries for all parties.

^ Yes indeed there are many risks invovled. However labour is what pushes western construction threw the roof. A bridge in Burco which cost 500k roughly would cost 5+ million in Canada. It is threw western beauracracy that such projects cost too much. But with the UAE factor that is nullified. The fact that it could provide millions in toll revenue Yearly to both countries is one reason finances should not be a problem. Surely too functioning countries could take a loan from the IMF( However foolish it seems to borrow from THE IMF). A project of this magnitude is financially feasible and worthwhile to both parties, since it will not only benefit the two countries, but, also neighbouring counties in the Horn and throughout Africa and also throughout the Asia. Secondly, as for the spans, depth etc they surely aren't foolish enough to ignore the international guidelines and necessary protocol for such a project.

Great pictures of Qardho. They need to fix their landscaping, paving of streets, and garbage issues.

Taako Man replied to General Duke's topic in Politics
The Yemenis would have been better because they share many of the cultural affinities with us, i.e food, dress and religion etc. Add to that the fact that they have settled in Somalia and we have settled in Yemen for well over 100 years. But I guess we work with our short comings. Regardless, we need to move forward and this is a positive step in the right direction. -
This project is feasible. Whether it's neccesary or not is yet to be seen. With Dubai or anything UAE involved the prject can very will be completed and withing the financial constraints (Remember: UAE uses cheap indian labour and sometimes doesn't pay them, albeit it's wrong but there is no shortage of cheap manpower). Hopefully this will boast trade from the Middle East to Africa. We could have Canada to Mexico-like distant shipping by land. It should help many landlocked African countries in Central and Eastern Africa.

^ Somalia should be better with each coming president and prime minister duo. Isn't that what we strive for? To have the next adminstration surpass the previous one? Anyhow I think Buuba is a good candidate. One it would be a good change to have a Northern president and secondly, he is a well educated fellow who is probably very capable for the job.

It's good that they are muslim. Hopefully they come as soon as possible. The objection to Gaal carrying aids soldiers is an unfound stereotype amongst certain somali circles. Hopefully this nullifies any worries they have. -
If Riyaale wins again then he will certainly be noted as a master of campaigning.
