  1. ^ Embrace islam for the likes of Indhacadde, Cirfo, Deylaaf, Aweys, Abshir Bacaadle (who if you already knew was on the back of tekniko's singing poetry to kill one clan and then became a 'sheik') and the many crooks in the ICU who say islam is what we need, when really there's was a tribal hegemony of 1 clan, oh wait I mean one sub clan. I think I'll pass on the ICU.
  2. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL at Qaadisiya and Shabelle. What is next? The damn indhoyar are trying to get somalia for their fishing needs? kix kix kix.
  3. ^ I understand what you are saying. However I was trying to show brother Not Applicable, that his affirmation of who is in charge of the third division or the fourth division means nothing at the end of theday. This is not clan division army. These guys have to own up to Ina Libaax Sankataabte ( Part of the .5 which is wrong but whatever)who cares not for this tribal seeing as how the man is a 'minority' or whatever that means.
  4. ^ Spin it whatever way you want. Uganda is on the ground and here to help train our troops and hopefully Nigeria,Ghana etc help a sister african nation in need soon.
  5. Brother Oodweyne did you have to go on a 40 minute tangent because of what one member stated? Somaliland is part and parcel of Somalia, just like Quebec is part and parcel of Canada. Some want seccesion but the majority want to stay in Somalia.
  6. I didn't know Siyad Barre spoke arabic? The fact that Arabic is not the mother tongue of Abdullahi Yusuf is relevant. His mother tongue is Somali. He speaks that fluently. Those guys two somali guys behind him are translators.
  7. Duke these guys are not here to be stepped on. They are here as mediators and instituional protectors while the Somali troops are built. You shoot at them prepare to get a little someting someting in return.
  8. Some of you people are extremely racist and ignorant. Do you think when the slave trade was going on between America and Africa they would distinguish between you and say a Ugandan? Johnny from Knoxville " WAIT, WAIT, THIS ONE IS A SUMAALI, HE AIN'T ONE OF DEM NEGROS, HE'S ONE OF US" Anyhow I'll keep the pictures rolling..... Ugandan Africa Union (AU) peacekeepers assemble at the Kenyan Port of Mombasa, 480 km south west of the country's capital Nairobi, March 3, 2007. 9. It's irrelevant that this division comes under 'reer gedo' or 'reer hiiraan' or whatever. All that matters is that they come under no longer tribal militia leaders but under Somalia's national government.
  10. ^ The difference between 1993 and this is, that these guys are here to assist National troops, police and a functioning government. While at the same time the government is going to 'sit and talk it out' inshallah come April 16. Before they came to prevent Aideed (AUN) and his militia from fighting opposing militias and bring food to the starving namely in the South West.
  11. ^ Wonderful? Ask the guys who are throwing the mortars at civilians. Secondly, Somalia governments have failed for the last 14 attempts. This is the closest we've had to a succesful government with control of 15 gobols of Somalia. Thirdly, Where have you been? The AU have been (in conjunction with the TFG) planning this mission for months. Un announced to who? Dahir Aweys coalition of Mortar throwers and civilian consensus builders? eh.............
  12. The mission is being planned for 6 months inshallah. Then the UN shall take over. That's what's out there currently.
  13. ^ Surely a government needs security, established (However established a system can be in Somalia) ministries, tools and a presence in it's national capital before a reconciliation meeting can be held. Or do you want the Mustard before the hotdog?
  14. An African Union peacekeeper from the Uganda People's Defence Force participates in a farewell ceremony for soldiers, 01 March 2007. Mortar attacks in the Somali capital injured seven people on Friday, part of an insurgent offensive underlining the daunting task ahead of African Union peacekeepers being deployed in Mogadishu.(AFP/File/Stuart Price)
  15. Originally posted by Xoogsade: 4.5 clan based organization but a hopeless clanist? Abdiqasim is that kind of person. Is he a clannist?
  16. Ari or Adhi it's all the same thing. Goat meat is what it is in Anglais.
  17. Who are Somalilanders? What about the people of Sool, Sanaag, and Buhoodle? What about the people of Awdal, and what about the territorial integrity of a country? Many people from Waqooyi Galbeed regions died fighting for Somalia. Some of the actions the past regime took were despicable. But isn't that what happens in a dictatorship? The past regime was not selective in it's killings. They killed anybody who they deemed was a threat. Including some of my relatives. Which is sick, however is that reason enough for me to want to secede? Wasn't the reason they are leaving because of tyrants like Riyaale who 'massacred' the population? Is there a double standard here sister?
  18. ^ The government has selected delegation heads and is moving to organize the security apparatus and the flights/travel accomodations of 3000 people. Surely you don't expect this will happen over night? I even hear Sheik Shariif might be attending so who knows what might develop. Interesting developments I think.
  19. ^ You mean Ina Yusuf hides under beds in the west? Is that like a hobby for the old man?
  20. ^ Yes ofcourse, however the number is the line of thinking and reason for seccesion. If the number were smaller the international community would say, THAT'S IT? Do you know how many people were killed in Rwanada, or Burundi or South Africa or even other regions of Somalia? I lost relatives to the last regime. However I do not hold the last regime in contempt and want to secede from my brothers in Somalia for that reason alone.
  21. The before and after images in the graphic illustration on page 2 is amazing. The place got green because of the people's will.
