  1. salam all; glade you are all okay; i was worried about you guys; there are so many people walking on the streets; i just finally got home, after an hour of walking, fighting for taxi; alhumdililah i'm home; i hope the rest of you get home safetly; my friend waz injuried on the train by the smoke and glass, and they won't let me in to see her either; but she is okay alhudulilah; us muslims will be held responsible for this regardless of whether you condem them or not; so why borther; maca salamah
  2. for once i actually agree with ofle; which is not something that happens everyday; rahima yeah sis i can see repercussion for muslim people, no doubt, next time i get on a bus or train, i'd expect a lot of people to move out of my way, in fear that i have something hiddin behind all them clothes; just cause; aint no one saying that bombing is the right way or prasing them in an way, shape or form; as for the people who died or injuried; dee i wis them well, like all the other million people that died each day and no one blinks an eye for; my thoughts are with them and my prayers for the muslims; it would be silly though just cause not to look into the furture and forsee the problems that this will cause for us muslims living in britain, wh already have enough problems as it is because of events that ocurr around the world in the past; maca salamah
  3. yeah i agree; it is the asian area (algate) the arabs (edgeware) and the foreigners in other central aresa; seems strange; i don't know what to make off it;

  9. "Take only ONE. God is watching." > Moving further along the lunch line, at the other end of the table > was a large pile of chocolate chip cookies. > A child had written a note, "Take all you want. > God is watching the apples." loooooooooooool Her mother replied, "Well, every time that you do something wrong and > make me cry or unhappy, one of my hairs turns white." > The little girl thought about this revelation for a while and then i waz told this as well when i wz little; and i believed it too for a while; loool thanks for sharing

  12. salam sis; i have that book; i got it as a present and i love it; i added it to the listof books to read in the other thread; beautful book; tells you all you need to know; marshallah maca salamah
  13. salam people; you guys are not helping; i made the mistake of attacking him at first; but now i just see a confused person, and these responses are not gone help him sort out his imman or believe in allah, you guys can contribute to him going further away from the deen; fron these responses islam does not look very promising, in terms of contrbuting to the characteristic of a muslim person; so instead of shouting abuses at him, maybe you guys can give him suggestions of how he can rebuild his faith; everyone knows that even as good muslims your imman never stays the same, if it is not increasing, then it is decreasing; the only suggestion that i have for you ofle, is go back to the basic, reread the baisc, starting with books; such as the exsitence of god; or if your an acdemic person, something like; haruur yaaha has very good books and taps on increasing ones iman; he also adresses in of his books people who suffer from tricks of the shiytan; or have difficulties at times in believing the power and exsitence of allah; if you want i'll send you the full details; don't just sit around, try to find out for your self,and only you know where the problem steems from; try and adress the roots; i wish you well inshalllah may allah guide you to the right way; amen; maca salamah
  14. hoooay; now they can fix up the transport for us londers; especially in east (luck me i'd be able to get to work in time). thats if i'm well alive, still in london and working, loool; it will give me something to do; peace 1
  15. salam all; after the main ones; i love; 1) the ideal muslimah by Muhammed ali al hasimi; a must read; it tells you all you need to know 2) the Quest for Love and mercy; (if your interested in the islamic way of marriag and all; three books, as you progress through the process! all the way to bring kids up in a islamic manner; 2)through my sisters; it is a novel by a revert sister; currently on sale in london; but can't remember her name; 3) the seal nectar i can go on all day; but thats enough me think i see some intereting titles in the list above maca salamah
  16. salam all; “Jazmine I suggest you start your own research instead of repeating what you are told. You might be happy to blindly follow the crowd but I am not.†Looool; I don’t know what else to do, but laugh; thank you for the suggestion, but you’re a bit too late with it, as for the second party of that sentence; you show me nothing new, that u have not heard before, nothing is new, no new inventions, I have heard everything that you have said so far from different people, so from where I’m sitting you too follow a crowed, just a different sort of crowed, so unless your gonna tell me something that has never been, which your not because any research that you have been done, has been based on other peoples work, then that statement applies to me and you; also you seem to take the "i know it all approach", so hence why u insist that you follow ur self, and would never listen to anyone else; where as i can admit if i'm wrong, for it is not about winning or lossing an argument but rather; what is the best in the eyes of allah and what will benefit us in the hereafter; I don’t see the link between what I said and your reply, I said; “let this be a new discussion, a new start between you and nur; no so and so said in so and so thread,†you replied; “This proofs what I've been saying all along. You Salafis always like to change the subject whenever you feel uncomfortable answering the questions. You might be told never to question authority but I am not. If you guys want to talk about the Sheikh let us first start with who this person is, what he did, how he decided to write this book. So everybody would know who we are talking about. All you want to do is to go into different interpretations of Islam so people will forget the issues.†Proof; really? how?; did I say I’m a salafi, even if I am do I represent them all, or have you spoken to them all; your attacks on a whole bunch of people just shows me that you have distinguishing problems, you think everyone is the same, that is naïve; for someone that makes their day on attacking salafi’s, tell me, have you ever spoken to a salafi shik, presented them with your questions; and did you witness them “changing the subject, to what they feel comfortable with†if you have not, then again your just making claims that have no basis, like all others; Its sad because I actually respected you, but this thread has showed me another side of you; you see it is impossible to have a debate with you about anything what soever; you know why, your too defensive, nothings goes in your head, it seems that you have made up your mind about your view, and not willing to consider any different, so in my view there is no point in trying to talk to you about anything; you have an opinion about everything, I think this, I conclude this, I have come to realise this….. and so forth; well I’m sorry, but I only accept; Allah said; the prophet said, the saxab said, the uluam said; it is important to remember that if i wanna find something negative about a person/issue i will go to cetain sources; what i mean by this is; even if there waz a discussion about salafiya or shik abdual wahab; you will get your information from certain people/sources who will b bais in some way and like wise i would probably get information from people who favour him; so it basicly comes down to who each and everyone trust, which widely differs; I don't want gonna get into insulting people's views and all so I’m gonna leave this at that, your entitle to your view sakina; may allah guide us all inshallah, i'm sorry if i have offended you or anyone else in the process, it waz not my intention to do so, and please do forgive me; Maca salamah
  17. salam all; okay this is clearly going no where; sister sakina, there are things you are avoiding, maybe because your not comfortable in that area; brother nur maybe you should give a little and let her use "historical facts" sister sakina; you try and group many things in one area; this is normally a means of covering up uncertianty in ones knowldge or confidence, as it avoids indepth analysis of a given area/ topic, and means that you guys will only touch the surface of many topics; i do not see the relevance of such threads as Hamza yussuf shik or a suffi, salafiya and what they believe and call to; it makes it seem like your just avoiding answering direct questions; let this be a new discussion, a new start between you and nur; no so and so said in so and so thread, that is just going around in circles, something that i got tired and bored of in both of the other threads and why i pulled out of both; also approach this with an open heart, see it as a blessing or an opportunity to either correct your self or enlighten others about some thing that we may not know; both of you need to stop being so defensive, and compromise on grounds for debate, which your sort of starting to; i really hope this goes somewhere inshallah; maca salamah
  18. salam all; ^^adanna; you will be reading a lot, but i doubt you would have time to read lots of things outside your area study; unless your one of those people who pass with no effort; good luck; i myself started reading about it this year and the summer is stock up with reading; before then i wz (still sort of am) fish; who knew nothing about somaliland or somalia; but you know what they say; information makes you grow, knowldge makes you rich; juxa sis depends on what you know already and your stand; how strong your view point is; but it sounds better coming from the mouth of someone who represents the people of the country; so i hoped you watched the interview; salamah
  19. "for the most part"; just wanted to say there is no half way line, you either not or you are, i'll help if you need figuring out, give you you suggestions of what you should be doing to find out; i think you have bigger things to worry about, bigger things to slove then african's provery; for you will not be held responsibly for that but your responsibly for yourselve; as for me going away; all you have to say is P*iss off i don't wanna hear it; anyway watch me go like lightening;
  20. ^^^ at least we know what turns your pages old man :rolleyes:
  21. hey going back to adnaan's link; the interview at the end of the programm, is reall informative, now i know what to say to people who less supportive of somaliland with solid information; so anyone who doubts the right of self determination, or questions their independent sovereignty should watch it with an open mind; peace salamah
