  1. Salamz in that respect sahal; then from what i know; There is no evidence that says you must follow the salafi, there are shiks and fatwas that say you should follow the salafi, but i cannot give you a hadith or surah or a common position among ALL ulu'ma or muslims that states that to be saved you must follow the salafi; what i can tell you is what i know; if there is i have not heard it, maybe someone else has; the prophet telling his daughter that he is her salaf is considered as QIYAAS; but strictly speaking it jut proves the orgin of the name. NB: i have never claimed that to be saved you have to follow the salafi; i said if you can do without them then by all means go on; but in this day and age; every person needs to know what they are following and who they are getting their knowledge from; for me it is the salafi shirks; sahal assumptions as not a good thing; assuming i follow anyone blindly is a mistake on ur part; i am just content with the rulings that they give, based on the reason they give, and a comparison between groups, an i picked the one i thought was best; salafiya; I do closely follow the works and contributions of certain shiks, who are all salafi's; i respect them highly and i am sure that their intentions wz to guide us, not to lead us to hell fire; and based on this i follow them; inshallah allah won't let me stray off the right path; but you must understand that, intentional or unintentionally, everyone follows a group; or follows a shik/s who in turn follows a group, there are no such a thing as ppl who are running around in the middle; if there are indeed they are in great confusion; at the end of the day there are 73sects; which is evidence from the hadith that there are different groups, and one is saved; which implies that you must be following that group to be saved; the uulm's have said that there could be different groups who still follow the same path, they are still considered as a jamaac; so my conclusion is i try to follow the salafi to the best of my ability, although not blindly; there are different views on certain issues among the salafi shiks, which you have to be selective about as an individual, it does not mean that just because i admire Albain so much, that i will always follow his rulings, if Bin Baz has a different ruling, which makes more sense to me and is based on authentic evidence then i will follow Bin Baz; but i am still within the salafi shik's. in this respect shik FULAN said works for me sometimes; depending on whether i agree with their reasons or not; in this case i do; inshallah i will research you question when i have more time,; but as of now, that’s all i can say; this is my view and my view alone; it is not a salafi perspective; they probably have better answer than this, and allah knows best salamz
  2. sahal as i said at the start of the thread i will not insult any one regardless of their ways, this is not a bashing section; but if you wanna contin...be my guest; at least do it in a manner not so insulting to the shiks it concerns regardless of what you think of them; and remember they may still be better in the eyes of allah compared to you and me; "Waad ii dhuumatay" does dat mean i am dead? or i hid? salamz
  3. i can't believe u people have nothing better to do! i agree with stoic sky i somehow expected that frm you,wid all ur bullshit frm other threads; u were waiting for a opportunity to lash out on the brown teeth ppl as u call them; as for qaad eating bit (open ur eyes thats one the similarities between the two countries) and naayaa; i'd rather be called nayaa den "abayo macanto", sometimes i think few people were sold the language and their manners, perfect example; sky!! Anyway i though y'll were ejoying ur parties for the month; independance day and all; wat u in here focusing on sland for. dee may the 18th is gone, we had our parties and we are joining dis one as well; so go an wild out and stop wasting time on the same old issue; aboowe sky don't forget to bring me my xalwa as it is time to be happy or do you have to much hate and dislike for brown teeth ppl; if you people spent the amount of time u spend talking about somaliland on building somali, somali will be a mini London; so much effort on nothing!! and stop having kittins everytime somaliland is mentioned; it exists deal wid it; (i did't create it, so don't eat me) peace and happy independance day; landerz you know what dey say; haterz gonna hate;; so don't mind em if they don't wanna party go ahead show them how it is done (again, they must've not been watching may 18th)
  4. [/QB] ease up girl. slow your roll. dont be so paranoïd, youre only embarrassing yourself. [/QB] embarrassment is the story of my life when it comes to somali and somalis, so nothing new, it is the story of my life; anyway lets leave it at that shall we sky
  5. sahal if i give u evidence, u'll disreagrd it, as it will be a salafi scholar who's evidence i will use; frm what i understand frm the other threads, you will accept evidence frm the certain salafi shiks but not others; i'll try and find u a shik who u argee with. by the way do u believe that u should i found new evidence, regarding groups and xibiz, but first, what is ur view on them, no xibiz or just that there should be urs (what ever it is) anyway a short answer for you; When answering the question of joining islamic groups and parties, shaikh bin baz said; All praise is for Allaah and may Allaah extol and send blessings of peace upon his Prophet. We advise them all to unite upon a single way, and that is ... (words unclear) seeking knowledge, and attaining understanding of the Book and the Sunnah - and to proceed upon the methodology (minhaj) of the Salafus-Saalih. But as for partisanship (tahazzub) for the Ikhwaanul-Muslimeen or Jamaa'atut-Tableegh or so on, then I do not advise that. That is a mistake. Rather we advise them that they should be together upon a single way, a single Jamaa'ah - advising one another upon the truth and having allegiance to the Ahlus-Sunnah wal Jamaa'ah. This is the correct way to prevent differences, and if there are groups (jamaa'ahs) upon that way - then that will not harm - for example in San'aa - but all of them are upon the Salafi way - following the Book and the Sunnah, calling to Allaah and having allegiance to the Ahlus-Sunnah wal Jamaa'ah, without partisanship (tahazzub) and without bigotry (ta'assub - rigidity upon a way even if it is false) - that will not harm, even if there is a number of groups as long as their way and their goal is one. dats all i can find for you; personally i follow the salafi scholars and because they said it is okay to do so; and as i have no knowledge compared to them, i do so; the arabic version is much better, but i can't post it, so thats the translation; hope it helps you salamz
  6. i know what dey are sahal; i just did't want to say anything about either one; but if you must know i tent to lop-sided to Salman Al-awda; which does not mean i have anything against Rabiic Bin Hadi MAdkhali. just my teacher favoured one and taught us that one. what is ur point in any case,

  10. hhmm i see some one is getting so wat something; relax, and take a seat i did't answer any questions so why are u trippin, i just asked you if ur playing devil advocate? and anyway brother an answer is an answer in my view, the reason i answer because i see u target rahima in twisted ways, trying to confuse her, and before i corrected you on the evidence u were using against her; simple as, i see you trying to convince her of your ways, and i don't wanna see her consumed by hate and bias views that are coming out of u; ur trying to make her look bad for suggesting that she is avoiding ur questions; it seems like u don't want answers to questions, your just trying to pick holes in wat rahima is trying to tell u, which is so clear my little brother understands. don't get it twisted; don't worry i got ur answer for my question; cheers for da Clarification and i'll leave rahim to tidy u up, fix u up a little; SALAMZ
  11. lol sahal if you say so brother, and if it makes u feel better; but it hurts to know that attacking people, especially ulum's seems to be a hobby in SOL may allah guide us all salamz

  13. The different attitudes of Male and Females; When a BOY is quiet He has nothing to say…. When a BOY is not arguing He not in the mood of arguing When a BOY looks at u with eyes full of questions, He is really confused…. When a BOY answers "i'm fine" after a few seconds, He is actually fine… When a BOY stares at you, He is either amazed or angry…. When a boy calls you everyday, He is spending a lot of “Talk time†to get ur attention When a boy txtz you everyday, He is forwarding them…. When a boy says “I love uâ€, It is not the first time…. When a boy says he can’t live without you, He has made up his mind that you are his for at least a week. When a GIRL is quiet, Millions of things are running in her mind. When she is not arguing She is thinking deeply When she looks at u, with eyes full of questions, She is wondering how long u'll be around When she says “I’m fine†After fe seconds she is not at all fine When a GIRL stares at you She is wondering why u are lying When she calls everyday She is seeking your attention When she messages you everyday, she expects you to reply at least once, When a GIRL says “I love you†She means it When she says "i miss you" No one in this world can miss you more den her When she say she can’t live without you, She has made up her mind that you are her future. how true is this is for farah and xalimo's, the results of a psychology study, conducted on non farah and xalimo's so what y'll think
  14. salamz; rahima sis, you are arguing for something they do not wish to here. you have done ur best, you, u explained to the best of your ability; these people you are debating just wanna pick holes in everything u say, regardless. they also seem to be educated in "ISLAM" which ever sect they follow, anything thing u say will be looked at frm their percpective. so just leave it. our debate may cause them or us to sin. macasalam
  15. y'll go and celebrate, and bashaleeo(enjoy) i'm happy for u guys, ;;let me wish you all a HAPPY SOMALIA INDENPENDANCE DAY
  16. salamz peopel; wow, seems like people have some really big issues in here, it also seems like you guys have covered this ground before in other threads, which i'm starting to find out. in any case with all the research u guys have done for other threads, you are well ahead of me; so i'll just give you a short answer, to your eassay questions. when i finish my exams next week inshallah, i'll have more time to send you structured answers, as i do not want to simple copy and past; sakina sis i'll will inshallah try and answer all of ur questions; but first can you make your position clear for me; Are you against the salafi foundation, which steems from the so called “wahibaiya†You do not like the doctrine of the salafi or abdual wahab But you are a follower of alhulu sunnah wa jamaca U say ur books; which books? Who is them, known scholars of salafiya or lay people; Last but not least; I consider my self as a sunni muslim following the interpretations of the salafiya; can what i do/ my actions be used to attack or praise the salafi’s in general. This is the understanding I’m getting, CORRECT OR NOT; Viking; Brother; are you telling me that there are no issues that abdul wahab gives rulings on that were not present at the time of the prophet? if that the case would i be correct to say that it would not have mattered if abdual wahab existed or not; in other words, as his work is a repeat of the prophet, there is nothing that he can tell us or contribute; interpretations or clarifications; lastly but not least is he one of the scholars your against. “PS: I'm not against all scholars but rather the doctrines of the sects that divide us†great at least we partly agree on one thing, maybe from a common ground is better place for debate then ground 0 Rahima: May allah bless you for ur contributions and increase your understanding of islam inshallah; Sahal: Brother I don’t get you; where do you stand; Are you acting as devil advocate for the sake of it, “what i'm afraid is that you're avoiding the critics of this group . if this is the case i want to remind you that you cann't escape the critics and insult of this group unless you agreed with them 100%, they don't recognize 99.99%. they know "Either with us or against us". Okay so you don’t like salafiya (even though I understood differently at first), you don’t use their material? correct? On a scale of 1----------------10, if I’m at 1, and sakina is at 10 , where do you stand! Inshallah after I get these clarifications, I’ll try and answer u all. Salamz
  17. salamz: Adnaan: many people under estimate the power of shiytain, i'm glade u realise he is powerful, hence why so many people are so lost. it is his full time job to make us fail, and he works hard, and never gives up, never leaves us alone. when he can't get u to disobey, he causes u to be excessive and extreme in cibaada, which can also be harmful. i wish you well inshallah, and i hope allah helps and guides u to defeating him; amen. Bachelor; i'm glade u benefited, it is something that most people can relate to, i don't know anyone who has totally defeated shytain that is currently alive; inshallah i'll forward anything useful i come across in my studies; salamz;
  18. Before It’s Too Late* By Abu Iyad One of Satan’s favorite tricks is to make people think and say, I will do such-and-such soon, in a little while, maybe tomorrow, or next week and so on. He makes them delay their actions making them feel secure and happy with the present. Some people have named this “The Great Obstacle.†A person may place in front of himself a matter such as studying, then he says, when I have finished studying, then I will repent, learn my religion and practice it. When he finishes his studies, he says, when I receive the job, I will repent. He does not. Then he says, when I have performed Hajj, when I am married, and so on. He is constantly putting obstacles in front of himself, delaying things, and delighting in his current situation of ease and happiness. He continues in this way until he dies, and yet his real, true life has not even begun (that is, the life of faith and righteous actions). What Satan really intends is to completely prevent you from pursuing your beneficial activity or at least to delay you from it. For those who are righteous this is a great danger. Satan comes and whispers to one, you are not worthy of studying Islamic knowledge or calling people to the religion. Wait a while until you have studied. Yet, we have been commanded to teach the meaning of even one verse of the Qur’an if that is all we know. Ibn Al-Qayyim said How many people of firm intent and resolution are there, whom Satan has delayed by causing them to say “soon.†And how many strivers has he stopped. Maybe a scholar intends to return to his studies and Satan whispers to him: Relax for an hour. Satan does not cease his attempts to make laziness and inactivity beautiful and appealing to a person so that he keeps delaying his actions. He would say to the servant who worships at night: Time does not stop! The night is long! He continuous with theses whispers until the morning arrives and the servant has not even prayed. So, take lesson from what Abu Abdur-Rahman Al-Maghazili reports: There was a wise woman in Makkah who was much given to worship and her brothers came to her. She wept for a long time and then said, “My brothers! You are the pleasure of my eye, so depict the Day of Judgment in your heart’s eyes and relate to yourselves the actions you have sent forth. Whatever you think to be accepted on that day, aspire and hope in your Master for its acceptance and perfect blessings in it. And whatever you expect to be rejected on that day, then attend to correct it today. Do not be unmindful of your own souls.†macasalamah i hope u guys benefited for i did
  19. for once i can say i learn something in SOL; lots of things infact; history never hurts dey say; i would like to sing y'll a song, but i don't know any... can't read da ones u guys wrote, but i'll dance and beat da drums for u all. Enjoy the 1st of july, may somali reach its potential inshallah;
  20. 5pages about a man's age!! boy he must be passed going red!! all dat attention gets to a mans head!!! wat is he da only farah in town or are ppl extra extra bored!! hence why i'm reading dis. lol
  21. looooooooooooool! something wrong wid da man, that is not innocent. lol
  22. salam all; sakinah; it seems to me that u are very convinced in ur ways, and u have ur own views about salafis/salayifah, which will not change regardless of wat i say. it is not my duty to convince u that they are a correct or guided group, i have shared with you what i know about Islam, and with interpretations from the salaifi's, if u gonna start trippin about that, it is not my fault. What ever dislike you have for salafi's is between u and Allah. as for this leader u keep talking about, my leader is prophet Mohammed (PBUH), he is also the leader of the salafi ulam's, he is the most perfect leader and the only one u need!! my advice to you and me and everyone else is follow him to the best of your ability, but follow him with knowledge, as you said Mohammed (PBUH) is not with us; so where you obtain your knowledge from is up to you. i personally choose to get my knowledge from salaif ulum's, but i don't disrespect other ulum's, it that a crime, to take ur knowledge from who ur comfortable taking knowledge from, who u think is the most trust worthy, and most correct in UR VIEW!! “you should not attach yourself to one group and where did he get it from and why are you calling yourself Salafi Sunni Muslim? and why the salafi become confrontational whenever they are asked about their LEADER.?†Again it is evident you have not read the thread; but i'll answer anyway; it also seems that only confrontational Attitude going on is urs, i was in no way, shape or form rude or confrontational to u. 1) there reason behind not attaching your self to a group is; that since there are 73 sectors, all of them going to hell, except one, attaching your self to a group is not the best way to attain safety, rather following the guidance of the sunnah and quran, and using the work of trusted scholars for clarifications and guidance on issues that are not clear cut. If your knowledgeable enough to do it ur self, den by all means run along, from my point of view, it sounds though like me, u can do with some help and interpretations By the way, using Viking quote, is that emphasising the intention of the thread, i.e. its audience or ur sexuality, or both? Either way, my suggestion to you is if you need information about salafiyah; ask and be open minded. viking; "This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you ISLAM as your religion."- Al Ma'idah 5:3 yes it id true that allah has completed the religion fro us, and i aint trying to add anything. Personally i need help interrupting hadith and extended meanings of the quran, maybe you can do it ur self, but i can't. i also need guidance on things that have not been around at the time of the prophet, or things that have no clear distinct ruling on it; FOR example, communicating with the opposite sex over phones and internet, chat rooms, eating food with gelatine in it etc; if you viking can do all this on your own, then you can follow ur self, ur own interpretations, and guidance; i can't and i get the help i need from a specific ulum's, which are know for their reliability, trust worthiness and truthfulness; such as shik abdual wahab; which many people in this forum seem to have a problem with! Well the thing is i aint telling anyone to follow anything, or anyone, people on life are free to do what they wish, I personally am gonna call my self to account for my actions and deeds before accounting for anyone else!! So do what you think is correct, if it differs from my view, it does not matter, as each person is judged on their own. Ihsan; “Allah will exalt in degree those of you who believe, and those who have been granted knowledge"[al-Mujaadilah 58:11]... it is true, that hamza yussuf has done some great work on certain areas; I said I love his tape “remembering the days of allahâ€, and the 1st edition of his book “purification of the soulâ€. This is not a scholar bashing thread, it was not intended to be so. salamz
  23. salamz subxannallah; i see you guys are at it again! can i just say that; you get to a point that you can share your knowledge, and it will benefit people, or that it may correct people; there is also the point where anything you sat will be looked at in a negative light, regardless of what it is; i think on SOL the issue of salaifiyah has been exhausted, to the point where people who dislike them, hate them even more, and the followers are driven to argue and contently justify themselves over and over again, there are so many threads on this forum, about salifiay, so replies; so many contributions and so many useless posting; Users of SOL seem to have reached a point where they block their ears, and blindly type or more accurately copy and past, on this internet; one can find so many things to cut and past, which may or may not be correct. i think for the benefit of everyone and to stop our self from sinning we should just drop this issue, and each person should work on what they think is correct, this issue is one which can successfully be resolved in debating, but one which will lead to bashing of scholars. in any case, the prophet has advised us NOT TO ARGUE BOUT religion, i think this is best for us! maca salamah
  24. hey guys; u guys all make me laughin. hhhhhhhhhhhhhheeeeeeeeh xalimos' no one changes, apart from you, a farah is never gonna change his ways; so if you marry someone hoping that they will change that u are in biiiiiiiig trouble, coz u can't bend a grown tree!! and farahs; never rely on xalimo's, they will change fast then u can blink, never marry a xalimo hoping she will stay the same!! of you are in for a shock!! so basicly dere is not such a thing as MR and Miss right. it is what you make of your broken bended farah/xalimo. my solution; marry a miskiin, den u can be the boss. or marry a boss and u can be the miskiin, coz two boss's will clash and two miskiin's ppl will walk over; peace
