  1. i don't know, i woke up and only saw the last of it; it was a somali guy from shiffiled, who went there for the first time; he spoke only in english, and followed his family members around on nomad's land, they milked some camels, and a women (his uncle's wife singing to a child) and he fell of a the camel, and said it is because he is too fat, and he said the camel money is nasty!! loool; basicly he was a fish and chips in somaliland; for sure it was so funny; sorry ppl missed it, they did't advertise it/
  2. A discriminating consumer?
  3. ^^found it bro; watched it for hour, i loved it; wow; somali freedoom of speech; oh wow check out their hand movements; wonder if any of my family memebers are in there thanks; an hour well spent; i even learn some new somali; hey i look forward to next year for sure; but next year is so far away; my whole family went this week, so when they get back i'll post the pics, providing they remember to take some; reminde me closer to the time ur present, i'll get you a waaso (water bottle) and caano kaal (camel milk) so informative, so touching; subxanallah;
  4. ^^^^the brains of a fish talking again, even my 2yrs cuz knows better;
  5. Do you distinguish your self from a none muslim or a non believer; they clearly have no value, no believe, no morals, and are not even muslims; so no i don't call them names; you on the other hand; i presumed that you were a muslim, by just for the record are you, i have reasons for doubting, as u implied that you consently question gods existence; in order to be a muslims; there must be no doubt about his existence and his attributes; "It never hurts to question. It's when we stop questioning that we stop living." secondly; "Probably not before he answers to the innocent women and children who pray to him everyday yet continue in their misery." thats is a statement of a person who does not understand the aim of making duca; also; pray to him how; in what way on what basis; you seem to think all religions are the same; "innocent" and i suppose you know what is in there hearts, and on that basis you can judge allah; don't you know that this whole life is a test, hardship is a blessing and a test for all; thirdly u state; "I ask for nothing and deserve nothing. It's those who ask and not receive that I pity." and i suppose it is by magic, u were born, sustained in good healthy; give sight, hearing, speech and a sound mind, as well as functioning limps; all so that you are ungrateful; should you not thank he who has not made you like a grown child (i.e. disable, in care, mentally ill) he has given you a good life, you could have been in darfur or starving in Sudan, instead of sitting on a comfort chair, runing up ur mouth about god's business on SOL, saying you have never asked god for nothing; what of the things he has given you, without u asking; or do you believe he has given you nothing? Fourthly; What usually makes my blood boil is unnecessary suffering, often of the innocent. I guess we reach boiling points at different temperatures for different reasons. and i guess it is you, who determines whether it is necessary or not, as well as there innocent; and what sources do you use to obtain that knowledge; newspapers, TVs. can you truly say what kind of people they are, do you think you have more knowledge then god, about the people he has created; I am not an atheist what are you?
  6. ^^^salam brother; the link does not work for me;it took me to the site, but then i can't find the programm; but i say a programme on of the channel 5, at 12.00 this morning that was by a somali british guy who for the first time went back to somaliland; it was well good; saw all the old ladies dancing, cooking at cafe's; it was a beautiful programm; made me look forward to my vist next year inshallah; the mountins of shik look like a sight for sore eyes; salamah

  8. The biggest enemy of africa is people like you; You have zero; suggestions, and your so smart that you have the cheek to attack allah subxanallah; Quote: "WTF is the problem here? And why has "god", not Bono or Clinton or some big shot celebrity, not come to the aid of the most religious mofos on earth? Yeah I said it, goddammit! Africa has the most religious people (of any religion) anywhere. Is he enjoying this shit? Or just can't do shit about it? If he's really out there, he's got a lot of f%cking explaining to do!" END QUOTE i stopped reading your S T U P I D thread there; what makes you so different from the west; i have just seen you question the existence of GOD;, you think he has to answer or explain anything to a dump farah, retard individual, who is so ungrateful to the niimca of allah; i have never though that i would here a somali farah questioning the almighty allah in so many different ways; his ability to control the world, your implication that he is enjoying this; this is the kind of sick conversations that i have with some of atheist that i work with in the west; as for your made up fact about Africa having the most religious people; !) who's religion; 2) forget any other african country; somalia which is 99%muslim contains the most bidca practices; people worshiping with lack of knowledge; 3) the consent spilling of bloody and the ungratefulness of individuals; all you have to do is look at somalis; the consent swearing of allah, his deen, his angels, his books; and the general disrespect shown to Allah and his humanity; does this not constitute to disobedience, and deserve allah's anger; what makes anyone think that we deserve allah's mercy; 4) the way you are now; do you think you deserve anything from allah; on what ground;; i have not read the rest of your post, as this part alone made my blood boil, your ignorance, arrogance, s*tupidity upon s*tupidity ; allah does not change the conditions of the people, until they change within themselves;
  9. basically most is not all Muslim countries, who carry the sunnah, even if it is the mere name resemblance
  10. savages indeed; the only people s*t*u*p*i*d* enough to kidnap something that was sent to help them and then demand ransom for it; the whole clan, the whole people and anyone who has the slight sympathy for them are the sort of people Somali’s can do without; someone should kidnap them and damp them in the sea; these people make me ashemed of having any sort of association with them, which is limited to desending from SOOMal.

    HAIR

    ^^^^agree even the mild relaxer ruins your hair big time; damages, makes it break, does not grow; problems; you name it and i'll show you the root is relaxing hair; straightening your hair also damages hair; if you burn ur face, every day it will change and not for the good; your hair is the same; it has the same effect as relaxer; but the process is a lot slower, and the cause less clear; i have all the hair in the world on one head, body and length; and though i'd love to relax it, i have seens so many sisters who have relaxed their hair and now have no or little hair left, so i just wash my bush, condition, braid it now and then and if i'm going out i'll blow dry it straight or wash and go which has the tight curl effect;; (more like scary spice) i would say, use some sort of conditioner, and hair moisturises, like soft and free; that would help you control them with out damaging them; don't use pink oil, it makes ur hajab smell and your hair fall out; oh and go to the hairdresser once a month and get them to treat it for you; just wash, condition, steam and trim; it does wonders; believe me; salamah
  12. Jazakallah Khair Walaal; thanks for the reminder; pluz i did't know that hungry is caused by low sugar in the blood !! i thought the food storage have all been digested and it needs something to fill the empty stomach what a xalimo; shows how little i know salamah

  15. based on the authoity of Imam Ibn ul Qayyim al Jawziyyah Summarized from Bida’i` al-Fawa’id (304-308) 1)Seeking refuge with Allah from Shaytan. Allah the Most High said, “And if there comes to you from Satan an evil suggestion, then seek refuge in Allah. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Knowing.†[41:36] 2) Recitation of the two soorahs al-Falaq and an-Nas, as they have wondrous effect in seeking refuge with Allah from his evil, weakening Shaytan and protection from him. This is why the Messenger, sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam, said: “No person seeks refuge with anything like the Mu`awwidhatayn (soorahs al-Falaq and an-Nas)â€. [an-Nasaa’i, 5337] 3)Recitation of Ayat al-Kursi (2:255). 4)Recitation of soorah al-Baqarah. The Messenger, sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam, said, “The house in which al-Baqarah is recited is not approached by Shaytan.†[Muslim] 5)The final part of al-Baqarah. The Messenger, sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam, said, “Whoever recites the two last verses of al-Baqarah at night they will suffice him.†[Muslim] 6)Recitation of the beginning of soorah Mu’min (Ghafir), until His saying, “wa ilayhi-l-maseer†(to Him is the destination). (i.e. “Ha. Meem. The revelation of the Book is from Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Knowing, the forgiver of sin, acceptor of repentance, severe in punishment, owner of abundance. There is no deity except Him; to Him is the destination.†[40:1-2]) 7)Saying “la ilaha ill Allah wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu wa huwa `ala kulli shay’in qadir†(there is nothing worthy of worship except Allah, He has no partner, His is the Dominion and Praise, and He is able to do all things) a hundred times. 8)The most beneficial form of protection from Shaytan: abundance of remembrance of Allah, the Exalted. 9)Ablution and prayer, and they are from among the greatest means of protection, especially at the time of emergence of anger and desire. 10)Abstinence from excess speech, food and mixing with people. i hope it benefits you all like it has benefited me; inshallah; maca salamah
  16. BIBLE >A little boy opened the big family bible. He was fascinated as he >fingered >through the old pages. Suddenly, something fell out of the Bible. He >picked up the object and looked at it. What he saw was an old leaf that >had >been pressed in between the pages. "Mama, look what I found", the boy called out." What have you got there, dear?" > With astonishment in the young boy's voice, he answered, "I think it's >Adam's underwear!" My son Zachary, 4, came screaming out of the bathroom to tell me he'd >dropped his toothbrush in the toilet. So I fished it out and threw it in >the garbage. Zachary stood there thinking for a moment, then ran to my >bathroom and came out with my toothbrush. He held it up and said with a >charming little smile, "We better throw this one out too then, 'cause it >fell in the toilet a few days ago. On the first day of school, a first-grader handed his teacher a note >from >his mother. The note read, "The opinions expressed by this child are not >necessarily those of his parents." > >A woman was trying hard to get the ketchup to come out of the jar. >During >her struggle the phone rang so she asked her 4-year-old daughter to >answer >the phone. "It's the minister, Mommy," the child said to her mother. >Then >she added, "Mommy can't come to the phone to talk to you right now. >She's >hitting the bottle." > >A little boy got lost at the YMCA and found himself in the women's >locker >room. When he was spotted, the room burst into shrieks, with ladies >grabbing towels and running for cover. The little boy watched in >amazement >and then asked, "What's the matter haven't you ever seen a little boy >before?" While taking a routine vandalism report at an elementary school, I was >interrupted by a little girl about 6 years old. Looking up and down at >my >uniform, she asked, "Are you a cop?" "Yes," I answered and continued >writing the report. "My mother said if I ever needed help I should ask >the >police. Is that right?" "Yes, that's right," I told her. "Well, then," >she >said as she extended her foot toward me, "would you please tie my shoe?"
  17. i though i'll help you farah's and xalimo's out; only coz it took me a while to figure it out; me is number one xalimo; I'll Be There: If you have ever had to call a friend in the middle of the night, to take a sick child to hospital, or when your car has broken down some miles from home, you will know how good it feels to hear the phrase "I'll be there." Being there for another person is the greatest gift we can give. When we're truly present for other people, important things happen to them & us. We are renewed in love and friendship. We are restored emotionally and spiritually. Being there is at the very core of civility. I Miss You: Perhaps more marriages could be saved & strengthened if couples simply & sincerely say to each other "I miss you." This powerful affirmation tells partners they are wanted, needed, desired & loved. Consider how ecstatic you would feel, if you received an unexpected phone call from your spouse in the middle of your workday, just to say "I miss you." I Respect You / I Trust You: Respect and trust is another way of showing love. Its conveys the feeling that another person is a true equal. If you talk to your children as if they were adults you will strengthen the bonds & become close friends. This applies to all interpersonal relationships Maybe You're Right: This phrase is highly effective in diffusing an argument and restoring frayed emotions. The flip side to "maybe you're right" is the humility of admitting maybe "I'm wrong". Let's face it. When you have a heated argument with someone, all you do is cement the other person's point of view. They, or you, will not change their stance and you run the risk of seriously damaging the relationship between you. Saying "maybe you're right" can open the door to further explore the subject, in which you may then have the opportunity to get your view across in a more rational manner. Please Forgive Me: Many broken relationships could be restored and healed if people would admit their mistakes and ask for forgiveness. All of us are vulnerable to faults and failures. A man should never be ashamed to own up that he has been in the wrong, which is saying, in other words, that he is wiser today than he was yesterday. I Thank You: Gratitude is an exquisite form of courtesy. People who enjoy the companionship of good, close friends are those who don't take daily courtesies for granted. They are quick to thank their friends for their many expressions of kindness. On the other hand, people whose circle of friends is severely constricted often do not have the attitude of gratitude. Count On Me: A friend is one who walks in when others walk out. Loyalty is an essential ingredient for true friendship; it is the emotional glue that bonds people. Those that are rich in their relationships tend to be steady and true friends. When troubles come, a good friend is there indicating "you can count on me." Let Me Help: The best of friends see a need and try to fill it. When they spot a hurt they do what they can to heal it. Without being asked, they pitch in and help. I Understand You: People become closer and enjoy each other more if they feel the other person accepts and understands them. Letting your spouse know in so many little ways that you understand them, is one of the most powerful tools for healing relationship. This applies to any relationship. Go For It: We are all unique individuals. Don't try to get your friends to conform to your ideals. Support them in pursuing their interests, no matter how weird they seem to you. Everyone has dreams, dreams that are unique to that person only. Support and encourage your friends to follow their dreams. Tell them to "go for it." and last but not least I Love You: Perhaps the most important three words that you can say. Telling someone that you truly love them satisfies a person's deepest emotional needs. The need to belong, to feel appreciated and to be wanted.Your spouse, your children, your friends and you, all need to hear those three little words "I love you." it works on all realtions; try; life would be much easir; salam
