  1. I don't think this will work because if Somali Galbeed becomes independent, they will be in a unique situation where they are officially landlocked but in reality have unlimited access to the sea and seaports. I mean who can stop maryoolay from peddling their cheap China made ware across the borders. I doubt the different authorities can even tax them properly.
  2. One of my relatives was killed by the French for assisting the liberation struggle.
  3. What we say doesn't matter to our oppressive, out of touch, illegitimate, and corrupt regime. Yes there are angry folks, but we have also got those who would not have any difficulties supporting Ibliis himself.
  4. Independence will help Somali Galbeed escape the clutches of their occupiers, but who is Somaliland escaping from? Today the only one Somalis are escaping from anywhere outside of Ethiopia is abagandhe Muuse Bixiye. That should tell you everything.
  5. I don't understand why anyone needs to blame her for a mere speech. The United States along with pretty much everyone on this planet already made it clear to the Xabashis that Ethiopia has no right to buy cheap land and sea from the despot in Hargeisa.
  6. What was her speech about? I am sure our issues aren't in her list of priorities at the moment.
  7. Spot on. Cigaal was at the centre of the Habro conflict in the 1990s. If he was given the leadership he would have recreated a despotic highly centralised dictatorship with Cabdilaahi Yuusuf who always wanted to be another Siyaad. We would have ended up with a mess just like the one we have got in Somaliland. I doubt non of the recent political advances made in the South like federalism would be possible if Cigaal and Cabdilaahi Yusuf succeeded in their endeavour.

  9. And still Xaaji supports the one responsible for this disaster unconditionally!!
  10. Whether it is their clan territory or not, why is this MOU not in public domain for scrutiny? Why is there no consultation with the citizens living on the affected areas? Who gave Muuse the right or authority to enter into an agreement of this kind with anyone without getting sufficient advice on the matter and following the democratic procedures agrees upon?
  11. How Israel, Egypt, and the UAE view Ethiopia's Red Sea deal https://www.newarab.com/analysis/how-israel-egypt-and-uae-view-ethiopias-red-sea-deal
  12. I am sorry I forgot that the Xabashis were the exception.
  13. I don't think the tyrant in Hargeisa and his corrupt supporters can share any form of government with anybody on planet earth- jinn and insi.
  14. That Ugandan witch must be investigated for corruption.
  15. The Ethiopians can't pay the interest on the billions of dollars they already owe. No one will give a bankrupt entity anymore loans. The endless internal strive is having a serious impact on Ethiopia's economy.
  16. No Somali traveller would fly with an airline that makes a million different stops.
  17. A lot of the European carriers are entirely in private hands. I know British Airways belongs to a mostly Spanish company called IAG.
  18. This airlines could be passing all over personal data to Mosad.
  19. You failed to mention the witch hunt of journalists, the jailing of anyone who criticises him, his unelected gangster criminal sons using state resources to terrorise citizens, the killing of protesters, the harassment of private businesses for shares and cuts, etc, etc. It is not the term extension XX keeps talking about, all the previous presidents had extentions and we had no problems at all, but it is the sheer monstrosity of this arsonist tyrant which is new to us.
  20. You are absolutely right Che, this despicable tyrant wants to use the Xabashis to subjugate us for him. He is planning to give away both our country and freedom. It is just unbelievable.
  21. XX never learns a thing from history. The kacaan government was brought down by angry militias in the bushes, Muuse and his minions were chased from Laascaanood by an angry and justified armed rebellion by the locals. No nation can hold together without the willing participation of all its constituent parts. We saw that in the Somali Republic prior to 1991 and we see the same in Somaliland now. Xaajiyow, what will you tell us here when the crazy man you support destroys what is left of Somaliland? Somaliland could be a nation when everyone was willingly onboard but now who has an appetite to live under the tyranny of the current rogue regime? Have you guys got a Plan B you can rally on if sh!t hits the roof? Or is your Plan B the Ethiopia's invasion and annexation of our country?

  23. Xaaji you seem not to understand what the issue is. For your information, I didn't care about the corrupt Riyaale government and I don't care about Cirro. In fact, I don't want to see Cirro or Faysal anywhere near a public office. They are all losers. The problematic issue we have is the mentality of HA and HJ. It is their feeling of entitlement. It is a mentality of wanting everything for yourself and nothing for those who share a country with you. It is what is causing everyone to abandon this 32 year old project.
  24. I saw this coming a long time ago. I knew its only a matter of time before Jigjiga also goes the way of Diridhaba and other lost Somali cities. Believe me, this scenario will again replicate in Goday, Dhagaxbuur, wardheer, Gaashaamo, and every other town and village in the state. Somalis made the biggest mistake when they moved their capital from Diridhaba to Jigjiga. This is not a sovereign state where the capital needs protection from external forces. On the contrary, keeping the capital of the Somali state in Ethiopia on the periphery would have protected the interior.
