For certain brain-dead folks from koonfuria, 22 years of peace, harmony, law and order, creating democratic institutions and disciplined security forces, rebuilding ruined infrastructure and building new schools, hospitals, universities, orphanages, and roads, sending the majority of our children to schools for free education, achieving year after year of economic growth and general prosperity in Somaliland counts for nothing. They think all we care about is recognition and not the advancement of our society. That is way I call them the brain-dead:D

Maqane;985365 wrote: I edited for you to get it right dee, see the edit reason  Watch from 19:00 ---->> https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=9LP3RRNZEUc#t=1162 Aliya was found herself compelled to improve the lives of Mogadishu's many internally displaced children. Offering schooling to just 80 children is disheartening for Aliya, however without government accreditation for her NGO, the school will not be allowed to open at all. Aliya belongs to one of the most influential clans in Mogadishu and using her name to get what she needs is a contentious issue. Today many people associate clanism with the discrimination, suffering and violence that was part of Somalia's long civil war. Thanks for sharing this video. It is so sad the sisters had to reluctantly resort to using their clan connections just to get a minister's signature. If the SFG is this corrupt and shameless, I fear there is nothing but more trouble for the South. May Allah help the poor and the weak in that human jungle.

nuune;985253 wrote: These 500,000 Somalis are in their land, nothing to deport back, they are living in their own land as IDP. Ps: In their own land as in NFD, the camps where the refugees live are Somali Lands, like Somaliland, Djibouti, Soimali Galbeed, these are lands that belong to Somalis. In 1988 the refugees fleeing Siyaad Barre's murder squads would gladly disagree with you. Although those refugees fled the Somali Republic and headed into their own hawd territories, they were technically in Ethiopia. The thin invisible line that separated Ethiopia from the Somali Republic was precious. Back then the children, mothers, and the frail old people running for their dear lives would rather have that line of control between the two nations much closer to Hargeisa and Burco.

What are the Somali terms for radio pulsar, condensate, plasma, quantum entanglement, nebula, quark, magma, sedimentation, and string theory?

^ Both Abbaas and Maqane consist of only six letters so there is no difference:D

Alpha Blondy;984802 wrote: excellent. just excellent. there were more Arabs than you can shake a caleen at. caajib. in SL, the clan elder hierarchy is as follows.............there's Caqil, then there's Chief Caqil then there's Suldan....... but an Ugaas, a newly created title? caajib. they say he's wealthy. for reasons beyond reason, he's the namesake of the HAG destroyer 'Cali Mahdi' and he holds Saudi Nationality, a rare achievement by any stretch of the imagination. Ahmed Mohamed Saeed was the man of the hour this morning. without doubt the single greatest ego-maniac alive, Ugaas Ahmed of the Arab is a man of royalty. prior to today's extraordinary coronation, the title 'Ugaas' was non-existent and known for the Jesuits and pastures afar . but for the Arab, a tribe making great strides in recent years, it was a statement of intent. no longer a peripheral player in the game, the Arabs are not redefining the game, as it were......lakinse, in a society obsessed with derajo and honorific titles, this doesn't surprise, ruunti. in the coming days, as is the custom, Ugaas Ahmed will tour the Arabian hinterland....just as Big Silaanyo did recently. balse, we spoke and he seems different. he's a real Haqsoor, you know. As Somaliland is very receptive to new titles I think you should introduce the title of Earl and Baron to them. Name yourself "Alpha Blondy- the Earl of Ganad".

The government of Somaliland should translate what our ministers say in these sort of press conferences for the visiting foreign dignitaries. It is not a good protocol to keep the visitors ignorant of what is said in our language. The foreign dignitaries should either be given a written transcript of the our ministers' speech before hand or there should be a live translations for them.

It is better to make movies or documentaries about the many social problems we face today instead of glorifying violence and gang culture which are alien to Somaliland.
