  1. The science of the real end of the world So forget about whatever end-of-the-world conspiracy you’ve heard, whether it’s the current flavor or any other, and let’s get right down to the science of it. The world — the beautiful, terrifying, and wonderful Earth that all humans and our distant cousins and ancestors have lived upon — will not last forever, and neither will we, nor will our descendants. At some point, this will all be gone. http://scienceblogs.com/startswithabang/2012/12/20/the-science-of-the-real-end-of-the-world/
  2. The good Prof should heed this Greek proverb. A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in”
  3. The good Professor needs to plant the seed for the next generation, he shouldn't let the fadhi-khudir elite dampen his resolve to see a United Republic. [A republic that works for all Somalis regardless of clan affiliation]. P.s They will be election in 4 years time, in the meantime, he should be in Mogadishu preparing the ground.

I really never understood why Somalis feel this closeness with black Africans who are gaalo cause most of them hate the Somalis with passion. I'm not surprised, as Somalis in SA have been suffering a similar fates for decades. Your comment reeks xenophobia and bigotry, it ill befits for a muslimah [ or a muslim for that matter] to speak in that manner to a people who although they have displayed criminality they don't need to be demonized or dehumanized. We can condemn their wrong actions without resorting to name calling. As for the Somalis they should work with the authorities and the wider community in order to promote peaceful co-existence! [ wherever we maybe] We also need to remind Zambians, that resorting to justice in this manner is counter productive, they just need to look and see what we did to our country.

  6. Security and supervision of point of entries [Airport, ports, border crossing] is the job of the federal government, as for revenue collection, tax will be collected locally with the federal government either getting a cut or it introducing a separate federal tax.

  9. Wow, this woman literally died of embarrassment and humiliation, RIP my dear... People, be careful, there are fragile souls out there!
  10. Having a country, and building one are two different things. A lesson to the separatists in Hargiessa from the poop nation, Eritrea- a country born in 1991 with much fanfare and jubilation, that is now experiencing a slow agonizing death.

  12. ^^ Lol, I'll give you an advice I gave someone else in this forum, don't come here when you're high or suffering from withdrawal symptoms. Search for a window when you're completely sober then perhaps you could then show your face and be a useful SOLer , at the moment you're just coming across as a stupi.d SOLer [oh,I forget, they don't call you Forrest Gump Kutaga for nothing ] ,. P.s Alpha is demonstrating a high level of patience here that I didn't know he had in him. Kudos to you AB!!

  14. To all Somali boys/men who want to prove their manhood in foreign land and homeland, they should demonstrate their patriotism and join the Somali Army where their aggression and adrenaline can be used for a useful purpose i.e protecting the nation and keeping peace. Obviously, before they do that, they will need training and vetting, we don't need psychos in the army, we have enough as it is.
  15. SubhanAllah, wish the guy a quick recovery. Can the community not do something about these lost boys, what motivated these boys to form such a brutal gang?
  16. Nin-Yaaban;895600 wrote: That's no surprise bro. The government that was in power at the time probably signed that treaty. And if i had to guess, its was probably during the piracy stuff that was going on wakhtigaas. Makes you think how many other legally binding agreements we have with foreign governments that people wouldn't know about it until something like this happens. P.S. i heard that guy got 12 life sentences. O'well, I hope this is just a scare and the government will get on top of the matter, the President needs to issue a statement...knowing his communication skills though he may decide to stay silent on the matter.

Che, so what treaty is the prosecutor referring to when he notes that Somalia signed a treaty agreeing to a 12-mile limit?
  21. Lol, So Carafaat opposes federalism but supports confederacy. He might have to elaborate on that logic.
