1. @Tillamook said: Horta, is the president's name officially spelt with one i or two ii's? Obviously, in Somali circled, the old man has more problems than senility and sacsacnimo, if his name has two ii's and the Somali sounding equivalent of a tomato Just imagine, if the title said, " sultan Wabar refuses to sit down with the Tomato vigina" Lol Must be two ii's lol. But the old man is senile or sac sac whichever language you prefer. Xaaji xaaran is probably in the same club
2. @Xaaji Xunjuf said: Nonsense why on earth would Siilaanyo even talk to a man who hides in Ethiopia , Wabar is a nobody harowo.com is trying to make something he is not. What leverage does he have , and what will the SL government benefit from him, nada zero. By the way salax u said u are neutral in this why than calling siilaanyo senile and Wabar by his name. Looks like u have some grudge against the president? And u are siding with a small nobody? Why are you getting worked up about Senile Silaanyo when you call everyone else names-----remember?.... you dish out but don't expect it back. come on. Enjoy it I must say it does have a ring to it " Senile Silaanyo", or should I say Sac sac silaanyo in somaali ha ha ha ha perfect
3. @SomaliaPatriot said: Tolloow why are somalidiid in xamar? I dont believe in suicidebombs, but i believe their sarakiil and politicians must be executed for treason. If the govt doesnt do that, a group should be formed to kill every somalidiid politician, sarakiil that are located in Xamar. To do that, the people from xamar living in the dead desert called maamulka somalidiid should leave there quickly. To avoid revenge attacks. When that happens, yes the blood of somalidiid becomes allowed to be spilled(executions, ambushes without suicideattacks) because they support the division of somalia and they are children of the ethiopians. Let the somalidiid feel harshness and hatred because they started the flame of war by supporting terrorism and division of the land. This weak govt will not dare to execute the guards and owners of central (terrorist) hotel. We cant put our hopes on weak socalled govt, so the somalis should take matters in their hands. Somalidiidoow u are wrong. Siilaanyo abu caloolweyne is behind the attacks. He hates somalidiids living in Xamar and wants to instill fear in them, so they leave that place and go back to their smelly desert. I may be blind here, but could someone please tell me the difference between Axmed's rhetoric and that of Al-Shabaab?... As for the comments by Salaax below I believe the infamous anarchists aka the scrap metal looters are behind it, reason I say this is because we all know they are scared of clean business competition, after months of huge successes and attracting many people the scrap metal looters became green with envy and plotted on how to attack it. Central hotel belongs to a Somalilander businessman by the name Axmed Buur from Bohol, Sool, many people belonging to the same community as him and me were also wounded in the attack and one died AUN by the name Fuad Xussen Ismaaciil Gaane. What difference is there between you and the "anarchists" as you like to refer them to?. you both preach the same!
4. Puntland must answer this cruel attack against their people. Socalled govt in xamar is weak, they are no one. Puntland is more govt than socalled govt in xamar ever wished to be. What will that achieve?, that is precisely what the perpetrators want. Instead one should look at this holistically and see the big picture. The enemy thrives on one thing "divide and conquer", I refuse to let the enemy divide us, and that should be our mantra when we face the enemy as one.
5. People! We loose too many of our sons in senseless killings everyday, for what?. We lost more of the brightest group of our citizens yesterday. It is my belief that those that orchestrated these atrocities did so in the hope that they will destroy our collective will to move forward and reconcile our differences. The mere fact that the majority of the victims were not necessarily from the Banadiir region as you would have expected tells us something, our people are slowly rising from the ashes and reintegrating, we are starting to move around without fear of being targeted due to our qabiil. It is a good sign and those that did this are hoping that we go back to the ways of days gone. They are hoping we don't get together, we don't talk to each other because only in those circumstances can they flourish. It is therefore of no use to us collectively to label each other- we will only be benefiting the bastards that did this. Instead, the deaths of our people should make a difference. It should be a time to get together and work out the issues before us and hopefully resolve the stupid arguments we have. When I say "we", I am not referring to s specific region, I mean the entire Somalia and yes, it does include the regions of somaliland and it's populace. They may disagree, but they are as much victims as any other. They suffer as much as the rest of Somalis. We need to stop the hateful speeches and I do admit I have in the past been at fault too. Time to take a higher moral ground brothers and sisters.

7. Shocking as it may seem, this is not new to Somalia. This has been ongoing since the very first suicide bomber in somalia tried to kill the Former President AUN Abdulahi Yusuf in Baidoa with a vehicle full of explosives. Since then we have seen countless atrocities of this nature. In each case, we all get emotional, denounce the atrocities and those that carried it out. We then pray for the dead, bury them, and simply forget!. No one asks the really hard questions like; - Why are we having these problems in our beloved country? - Who finances these groups?. The old story of them getting finance from Kismayo port or collecting taxes no longer exist, yet they are still able to operate so they must be getting the finance from somewhere, and why is there no visible plan to tackle that? - What are the root causes of these never ending problems we face in our country? and how come These blood thirsty bastards are able to wonder around easily in and out of any city they want? Some of you may well start blaming the Government, the neighboring countries, the world at large for this, but it is my view that we should be looking inward, at ourselves and how we all collectively contribute to this problem. No one destroyed our country- we did. No one told us to divide each other on some unknown tribe when we all have the same bloody DNA- We did No one asked us to start sucking up to foreigners- We did No one told us to take up everyone's causes from around the world without taking on our own- We did No one told us to be the investors of choice in all our neighboring countries instead of our own country- We did No one told us to run up and talk ill of each other to the whole world- We did No one told us to air our dirty laundry for all to see- We did No one made us refugees and the face of illegal immigration and shame- you guessed it- WE DID! Does anyone care that we divide ourselves up- Heck No! in fact they all just laugh at us Point being- No one is to blame except ourselves and these atrocities will continue, our suffering will continue until we realize that Qabiil doesn't make a nation, but that CITIZENS make a nation. Let us therefore become citizens and know that Government can never do anything, it is the CITIZENS that make a country.
8. I visited PDRC offices recently in my last visit to Garowe and was able to meet a couple of the directors and inquire on their research. They are really serious about their independence and will criticise where needed. I am also of the opinion that such criticisms( though these are constructive criticisms), need to be aired for the betterment of society. There will always be a shortfall somewhere within the governance system and it is therefore important people discuss this in a calm and rational manner. The difference between PDRC and the usual websites is that theirs is research based and therefore commands more respect in the population at large. From what I understand, the government has little influence on their research hence my respect for it. On the flip side, it says a lot for the Abdiweli admin in their self confidence to have such criticism thrown at them from an institution that they regularly use for their conferences etc and still do nothing about it. The usual response in Somali terms is to close down such an institution or arrest people, at best to twist arms, so Kudos to him.
9. "Just like 28 years ago in Somalia, you have incapacitated leader who had involuntarily delegated the business of government to his immediate family. We have Hooyo Khadiijo, who is more vindictive and power hunger in the Name of Amina, we have Hirsi Gaab acting as the presidents son, and finally we have son in -law by the name of Morgan – I am not making this – arresting members of the media who write unpleasant things about Siilaanyo". Really?..... Morgan lol!. He sure picks em!. Jokes aside, the Senile old Man silaanyo is indeed the sick man of the horn now. People are moving on in the rest of Somalia somewhat, though they have a long way to go, they are at least taking the first baby steps towards a more inclusive system. Senile silaanyo is actively operating an extractive system of governance and the only ones that benefit are his close clansmen. Take the comment of Xaaji here where he says the elections have been postponed and that a 2 yr extension has been given. He says it as a matter of fact. No one has seen any deliberations on this, no parliament discussed this, no formal approach has been made by the government, yet to him it is a matter of fact. All anyone seems to have seen is a group of elders from silaanyo's clan who went on air and declared that regardless of public opinion, regardless of the fact that the law demands an election this year, regardless of the Democracy they have all been raving about, the president has been given a 2 yr extension and in their words " War naguma filna intaase adkeesta!". In fact what we see is not even a resemblance of governance where the president feels compelled to seek some legal instrument to extend his term by using the legislative and other legal frameworks that exist, he just had his clansmen declare it on air and that is it. This is impunity at it's worst. No wonder people feel the way they do.
10. @Gheelle.T said: CabdiQawi is bigger than PL or clan in that matter, he's a world class judge and a Somali. Odeyoow, odayga kor u qaad Lol!, point well taken!
11. Congratulations to Puntland for the success of one of it's sons http://horseedmedia.net/2015/02/09/xaakim-cabdiqawi-yusuf-oo-madaxweyne-kuxigeenka-maxkamada-adduunka-loo-doortay/
12. The only thing I see here is Xaaji Xaaran getting very worried because Somalis are getting together and working out their differences. This to him spells doom!. He would rather none of them met and were all at war with each other. Well, read it and weep!, not only did they get together, discuss and come to a very good agreement but also the next meeting takes place n Garowe in April. The meetings will continue and will no doubt foster a better working relationship between the regions and the Federal Government. This is in the interest of Somalia. Naturally, as these relationships get stronger, the Alshabaab elements will be collectively defeated, Governance co-operation will get stronger and eventually, they will simply order Senile Silanyo to come to Mogadishu to pay homage to the Blue Flag of Somalia. I will be waiting at the airport on the day inshaAllah
13. its high time they all sat down together, talked about how they can individually and collectively serve the poor, starved and suffering people of Somalia whom they claim to represent. If this event and possible future ones like this can stop the never ending bickering in the media, the general public can possibly recover from the "divide & Rule" BS of the past 25 years!. Good move forward and if Culusow made this happen, maybe, just maybe, there is hope still.
14. We all knew he was senile and now he is not even hiding it. How else can you describe such hostility to the very same people he claims to represent? http://www.kalshaale.com/
15. @Xaaji Xunjuf said: The European officials frequently visit Somaliland to , second there is nothing the EU can enforce in Somalia even IGAD and Amisom cant enforce anything. You have to understand is its mere lip service the EU and the western powers play in the ears of the Southerners and thats where it ends really. There is nothing wrong with the EU supporting Somalia. But this is about Somaliland. The talks are always in the interest of Somaliland never in the interest of the Koonfurians and bringing in the Europeans in these talks eventually is a positive step also. All in all eventually Somalilanders will win and the Koonfurians will lose like they were losing the past 23 and a half years. If that gets you sleeping at night, then by all means, believe it! lol,
16. indeed, they went to Brusssels, they begged for recognition, they will return to Hargeisa and claim success, then all the foreigners including the EU will go to Xamar the next day after Hassan Sheikh calls in the EU and they will simply say the following; " Mr President, the EU respects the sovereignty of Somalia and of course our policy is that of one Somalia. We do however understand that talks between the Federal Government and SL State of Somalia should continue, the same way it should continue with Puntland and Jubba and Southwest and we hope that in doing so, Somalia will emerge strong, confident and at peace with itself. We are committed to supporting Somalia and it's people". Business as usual.......... All I see is Bihi and his boss Senile Silaanyo going around the world in the hope that the talks are restarted again.
17. @Saalax said: Not bad if reer Hargeisa want to be more religious, they should cut down on the khat though. loool, war iidaa rajaaba iga gasheye!
18. This is Erdogan's day though, so lets pretend to like Culusow for the sake of the country......we all know how much of a disappointment he is!
