Leezu;880054 wrote: How many Jareers live in Somalia nowadays? Do you consider them Somali or not? I do not as they are not ethnic or share history, traditions or simply anything except for colour maybe. I dont believe in giving this minority who came as slaves to our country any political voice or power as it is not truly their country, their true country is Tanzania and we all know that from historians of East Africa that has proven that the Omanis brought them here. Should we deport them back to Tanzania, give their government funding money in the future when we have the resources and give them homes back in their native country, teach them that our heritage is not theirs. I want a 99% ethnic Somali state. Not a country that will eventually have problems and might even become minority in its own country because of the black peoples reproducing speed... I consider them Somali. You are sick person, please seek help. I bet you 'consider' yourself a Muslim right? Shame on you!
  4. I've seen Taken 2 it was great, expect to scream during it unconsciously at least once.

  6. ^ wyre: That is by far the best reply. After a long day at school + work, I just want to take a long shower, put my Pyjamas on, turn the heat up (brrr!!!, enjoy some home made meals, lay down and chill! I don't want to go out to have fun anymore, cause I'm so tired all the time. Unless I get rides from my family from and to or else I'm not going no where, blame the cold!

Also for the females, they all of a sudden adopt "bint" in their name (Xaalimo bint Abdullahi) and call themselves "uhkti" lol. I've been guilty of the bint thing myself. I always liked the kunya ...UmmAbdulHaq lol but I know what your saying some people over do it..we don' want to lose our somali identity either while being Practicing Muslims. I think we can do both without losing the other.
  8. Apo you don't strike me as a Sri lankan Refugee -residing person, btw I wasn't mocking them I was just teasing them. MMA your right there are many people in America who are illiterate, and many British people who are poorly educated. There are also many seemingly educated non-Muslims (wealthy, high positions holding professionals, who don't even know how to perform something as simple as 'Istinja'. Something that an illiterate bedouin in the dessert knows, but a westerner doesn't. Alhamdulilah for the enlightenment of Islam.
  9. 1- Freshie faraxs from the third world countries who pose laying down in gardens of flowers like as though they're playin a role in an Bollywood movie, and hold bouquets of flowers in one hand and rest on the other. With the odd matchin suits/eyesore! 2- If you really live in a refugee camp in Sri lanka, don't pretend you are living in America/England when you can't even put two english words together! Be yourself. 3- People who steal pictures 4- Somali people who put on their fb 'went to Harvard' Yale' St Andrews graduate..lol Yeah I know some do, but I'm talking of those lil liars who feel no shame to broadcast it worldwide lol...Forget private. 5- Girls who blow their own trumpets/ Who add lil titles to their names to attract guys such as; (Hotfatima/CuteHalima/Deliciousyasmin/etc 6- The Pseudo Wadads! 7- People who randomly Poke you, Never mind know you. 8- People who edit their pictures so much you hardly recognize them. 9- The ones who act like they got the perfect life, but post 50 updates in the space of an hour. 10- People who don't really like you but want to be your friend on fb.
  10. Maybe we're all a lil claustrophobic, some slightly more then others.
  11. I've been to the uk for Holiday, but I never experienced what people here are talking about. Maybe that's because my family there are very hard working/educated posh areas living Somalis.-) I stayed with family they practically lived in a Mansion. However If you come from some of the other western European countries I been to, you gonna feel like you kinda downgraded when you see some parts of the uk, and it's people. People there don't have a good style sense, don't smile much. They aren't so good looking compared to the other Somalis/other europeans who come from other parts of europe I find. Ireland/Scotland is beautiful!
  12. Congratulations! This is so exciting, I even watched Somali tv with my parents when the news was announced. The future is looking bright for Somalia. ❤ God Bless Somalia.❤
  13. Guudomiye=Vice president?

  15. "And with Him are the keys of the unseen; none knows them except Him. And He knows what is on the land and in the sea. Not a leaf falls but that He knows it. And no grain is there within the darknesses of the earth and no moist or dry [thing] but that it is [written] in a clear record" (Quran, 6:59)
  16. You forgot to say the next Somali word juxa:) hingo

I was expecting better however I guess qabil gets the best of all of us subhanAllah. It's quite disappointing to say the least. I wasn't expecting that from someone like her, but it just goes to show she's no different really. She pays allegiance to her tribe and not her country. We could do without that. So it's no loss really.
  18. Juxa when he bought me the socks I was very hesitant too accept it, but he insisted on it. Malika that'd definitely scare him off, so far he's being professional with me. I hope I won't have to ever resort to that kind of complaint. Ibtizam I didn't really buy him the drink, I already had it. It was actually mine I never got to drink it. After work, when I was heading out, I just placed it in his locker cause I knew he'd work until late. I just did that cause he always looks out for me, and I wanted to extend the courtesy that he has shown me. It really wasn't to pay back for the socks, but I do admit I felt weird about accepting them but now I don't anymore. He has all the girls at my work chasing after him, he let me go home early a couple of times. You should see how the girls give me the evils when he talks to me. I think they all secretly like him and see me as a possible threat lol. Oh gosh I'm not even interested in him that way. I'm so aloof n nonchalant, I don't even notice him half the times. Unless he calls my name n even then It's all about work for me, I just wanna get things done and head home. Lol @ is he arab or asian, that guy is half turkish/white. The other day he was like, you know my country is investing a heavily lot in your country. He even knows the name of our new president, this guy got his Somali politics on lock down for sure.
  19. ^I didn't get that one. lol@ your ..nahoy one tho, that reminded me of something very funny that always makes me lmao.

Thanks for the confidence boost lol, Now I feel like my Somali isn't so bad after I read yours:p. You should join me in my Somali-english thread so you can improve your Somali language too.
  21. I'm happy it's Friday, I'm planning to stay in take a long bath, watch movies with my siblings, and sleep in tomorrow! I got the flu too, need loads of rest. I want to become more anti social!
  22. What happened to my thread? The point of this thread was not for you all to post your off topic posts in here duh...Think! lol. *annoying* I need you all to make a written promise in this thread that you do your best not to go off topic. Pledge!
  23. Do you people know how to stick to a topic at all? I think mods should delete off topic posts and members who keep going off topic should be warned. I don't like people who always ruin every thread by making off topic posts in peoples threads. Stop it, it's annoying. If you want to talk about airplanes when the topic is about your favorite color, please start a thread about airplanes. Arghhh!
  24. If I happen to be that loved one, I would turn around and just slap him silly. Paw!
