OK, lets see, another negative post with regard to Somaliland, whats new here? u ask, absolutely nothing, same old debate without any real issues being discussed. I personally want s/land to become recognised because we are already independent, ie not relying on Somalia, we are not going to even consider reconciling with the same ppl at the helm who were there in the Siad Barre days. I've always had this idea of all regions becoming self reliant for a number of years, having democratically elected local leaders (shieks/suldaans/politician) with a view to reconciliation in the future, without independence for anyone!!! But what do we have??? 15 reconciliation talks with the same ppl who devided us in the 1st place, and ppl who seem to think that life under these 'warlords' will be all nice and rosy if only S/land agreed to it and gave up hopes of becoming independent. We Somalis are a bunch of stubborn ppl who are blindfolded for the most part. Now lets all at least swallow our prides and have active discussions and ideas of things may work under yr particular viewpoint without resorting to BS! I love all my somali ppl whether yr from North, East or South, but i also recognise that Somalia will never be the same again. Ppl who seem to think that are dreamin. I'm a realist. So plz lets have an active debate here. 1!

Some gr8 pic there and what a wondrrful day it was for all s/landers, i managed to get there late due to a heavy workload, but for the 1 hr 30 mins or so i was there, it was worth the trip upon the underground which i have managed to avoid for more than 4 months,lol. Getting off at westminster, walking up the stairs and then seeing big ben with a huge s/land contingent underneath it was truely amazing. Seeing ppl i aint seen for years draped out in the Green/White and Red, i managed to at least take part and enjoy the event. 1 LOVE!

What motivates one? Having the ability to look after ones self ie being self sufficient and not relying on others all yr life. You know what happens when u rely on others and you dont want to do that for life. Therefore gaining yr quals will help you in achieving the goal of being able to look after yrself and yr future family ia. During the 1st 2 years of study, it was hard to get motivated, but during the final year it was alot easier as my priorities were different (when yr on the edge of achievment). I would say my placement year motivated me the most. Just seeing things happen in real time and not out of books made me become alot more interested in my field of work. So all in all, diff ppl have diff motivational requirements/needs/wants, so depending on what one is looking to achieve and how much they want to achieve it, then the more influences the better. Hope i made sense. PS stay away from bad influences,,,,,,,,
