  1. The goings on in Muqdisho, the invasion, occupation and massacres which have taken place, can only be described as wrong regardless of where one’s loyalties lie (SL, TFG, ICU or whatever). Therefore, when one voices his displeasure at the said goings on, it should be viewed as a welcome thought in amongst all of the anarchy. Secondly, the support for secession being something which invalidates one’s concern for the goings on in Muqdisho is made redundant by the fact that a Somalia free from occupation (which is what I call for) would have a better chance of unity and would invariably be detrimental to the secessionist cause. In other words, support for the TFG and Ethio occupation would be understandable for someone who hopes the disunity continues and recognition comes his way due to this disunity. Thirdly, the situation is LA is grim and I agree it should not have happened and was not supported by the majority. It has more to do with political figures and opportunists with tacit support from the Ethios who also happen to be occupying the south. Having said that, this could also be reversed on the TFG supporters. Why support an invasion in the south and cry about an ‘invasion’ in the north? But lets not ask them such a question ya Mr. Me. Fourthly, the arrests of individuals by the govnt who are then handed over to the Ethios do not have the support of the majority and is wrong. You seem to be equating the actions of politicians with SOL nomads by implying that they are in agreement simply because of their points of view. If a player from your favourite football team gets sent off for an elbow I’m sure you wouldn’t agree as it’s against the laws of the game. Therefore, the ‘wrong’ actions of politicians don’t mean the populace in support of them. A silly way of going about things ya Mr. Me. I expected better than that.
  2. ^^On your return please define their ideology, how this would be bad for the region and why. Also, do tell us how the other side of the spectrum (come and invade/occupy/kill us) is a better option.
  3. ^^Formulate your opinion/crticism about them first then I might counter. The sick individual bit still stands.

Those were the days. A Newcastle team with Keegan as manager and some of the best players ever to play in the premiership: Albert, Asprilla, Lee, Ferdinand, Shearer, Cole, Beardsley, Gillespie, Barton etc.. Still didn't stop us from beating them 4-3 on two consecutive occasions. That first game was a CLASSIC!
  13. ^^I think they do it to get a reaction, get 10 pages of comments and get a pat on the back from management.

  15. The BBC's 'Have your Say' team are a sad lot. You should read some of the things written in relation to Asylum Seekers, Islam, Race issues etc. Having said that, where are the positive articles/opinion in relation to China? Its all 'oh but look at your human rights record' as if Africa give a stuff about that. China builds roads and infrastructure in Africa and all we here is about their human rights record. Media gone mad!
  16. I went to our project sit this morning for a meeting. We decided to drive around the site which is basically desert at the moment with 20 large dozers working away forming the required ground levels. We noticed a man in a white dishasher walking around the site and in amongst the dozers. He could easily get run over without anyone noticing. He had obviously wondered on as the fencing has not been completed yet. We approached him asked what he was doing on the site. His response? "Shuuf gamal"? I was in stiches for a while before translating to others who also fell about in laughter. Poor chap.
  17. KK, hiding behind 'humour' and sarcasm doesnt hide your short-comings dear. SL is not recognised but I (and you) can go there without fear. Somalia is recognised but many cant set foot in there right now thanks to the TFG/Ethios who you support. Do tell how you can better Somalia. I'll leave it at that.
  18. It has its own currency (worth more than the shilling) and our friend JB got a visa to france on his SL passport. Are there any other 'concerns' you have apart from flags, currency and passports? clutching straws dhe,,,,

I don't see the need for Somalia to impose its will on Somaliland or understand Somaliland's obsession in trying to incorporate SSC into Somaliland. P.S. North your assumption about the people of the States and Canada falls under the same syndrome. I was refering to the our SL flag commentators (KK & Tuujiye). So how can the SSC problem be sorted out? Re-draw the boundary based on tribal lines (every little toolo)?
